HT2480 Is there a way to clear the calendar invitations from the iPhone invite inbox when the Meeting is accepted by a delegate?

I am running an Exchange / Outlook 2010 environment with many mobile users accessing email and calendars with iPhones. Senior Executives have delegated their Calendars to Executive Assistants, who manage them mostly from Outlook. When Meeting requests arrive for the executives, their assistants Accept, Decline or mark as Tentative as the calendar allows.
The executives have only their mail account on their iPhone. The assistants have both their account and the executive's Exchange ActiveSync account on their phones. When the request is handled and a Send Response Now is submitted, the calendar invitation does not get cleared from the Senior Executive's Calendar invitation inbox, or the Calendar invitation inbox on their assistant's phone (which is to say, the Senior Executive's Calendar, which is a secondary calendar at this point) but it does show up properly on their Calendar. It seems the cache doesn't know that the request has been handled and does not clear the flag.
Other than turning off the Calendar, deleting the ActiveSync data and downloading fresh data, is there a way to correct this? I have tried multiple switches and settings, notifications, etc. I have even dabbled in Outlook's Rules, since this is where the delegation occurs. Once a Meeting is accepted, how can it be cleared in the inbox? This is not a badge, as I've turned off badges.
It affects not only the iPhone 4 and 5, but also iPads and iPad Minis running iOS 6.0.1 or better.

I have similar issue. Sharing calendars in the house hold and when I did it lit up my calendars inbox with 21 messages and no way to clear them. Hope this is fixed in the next iOS release.

Why not just create another JFrame and add a JTextArea to that and then output all your game data there instead.
Otherwise you'll need to possible send an escape code of some kind to the shell (depending on what terminal it is emulating) or simply output 25 (or more) empty lines.

By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with one computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature and cannot be overridden. Because you are using a new computer, your phone will see this computer as a "new" computer. The itunes content sync is one way: computer to phone. If you have photos that were synced to your phone or music ripped on your own that were not backed up, you will first have to extract them from your phone using third party software, before you do anything else, as Apple makes no provision to do so:

Once you've done that, do the following in the order specified:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under iTunes>Preferences(under the edit menu if using Windows)>Devices in itunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book & iCal or Outlook, Windows Address Book) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect your phone, iTunes running, DO NOT SYNC at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on your phone will be in your itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore your itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding your contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go.

Is there a way to disable previously viewed iMessages from appearing as Messages notifications when waking my MacBook Pro from sleep? Regardless of whether I am using iMessage from my iPhone or iPad, when I open my MBP, I get attacked by Messages notifications for iMessages I've obviously already seen or responded to. Is there a way to change this? Are others having this issue?
Additionally, previous iMessages sent or received from those devices sometimes don't populate into the Messages window on the MBP. I haven't been able to identify when or what causes this; sometimes it just doesn't seem to work (and I verified that the messages sent/received were, in fact, iMessages and not SMS).

First you need to determine what laptop model you have; then we can help you. A Mac Book Pro cannot run OS 9.1.
With your Mac booted up, click on the  at the far left of the menu. Then click on About This Mac. It will show what version of OS you are running. What is the version?
A MBP will be running something like version 10.x.
If you are running version OS 9.x, you don't have a Mac Book Pro.

Hello. I have far too many Calendar items every day in my iCal. Until I finally pare them down to a reasonable level, I need to "reschedule" all of my unfinished ToDo items and reminders, to another day, later in the week.

BlackBerry devices do not support ActiveSync.
you have several ways, from best to less good :
1)
if your company has set up Outlook Web Access, you can use the BIS connection of your device to connect to the Exchange server (email + Address book) through the url of the Outlook Web Access. The OWA needs to be accessible from outside the company.
2)
if your company has setup an external link to the exchange server (can be accessible from outside the company), you can configure your BIS directly to the Exchange server (email only if I recall correctly)
3)
if your company allows it, on your PC you can setup your email account to automatically forward all incoming emails to a third party email (like GMail or Hotmail), and then configure BIS to connect to that email provider. You will get push email. You can then setup a reply-to: field.
4)
use a Windows Mobile phone that has the ActiveSync feature.

There may be several that were bought with your Apple ID. but somewhere in the updates there must be one associated with that other ID.
You can update one by one, until you find the one that requires the other Apple ID.

Another way to do this is to use Contact Sheet (https://itunes.apple.com/app/id894488957?mt=8) which can print your contacts and pictures or it can export them into an Excel file. You can print all of your contacts or just a select group that you choose. You can even share contacts and only include the fields you want, so, for example, if you want to share email addresses with a new mom's group but you don't want to share home addresses, you can create a contact share file (VCF) that only includes the names and email addresses of the members of your new mom's group!

You'd need an app like Skype to video call with other phones.
Data transfer is not supported via bluetooth and iphone to iphone is not supported at all.

SMS's are not synced through iTunes. Your SMS history is stored on your phone and also included as part of your iPhone backup. To view SMS's on your computer requires either extracting them from your phone or from your iPhone backup. Please read the list of things I've done so far before responding with basic stuff.
My iphone 4 was just updated with the latest firmware, 7.1.1. Full backup was done prior to upgrade. Subsequently, everything was wiped from the phone. Restore brought back a limited amount of apps and all pictures, but no music and no video. The Restore process displayed each file that should have been restored, but when completed, no music or videos were. restored. I tried again to restore with the same results. Tried syncing a few time and nothing was transferred.
Frustrated as ****, I added a song to be synced. That song and only that song was synced. Short of deselecting and reselecting everything that I want on the phone, is there a way to tell the phone that nothing has been synced and to resync everything without verifying if it exists on the phone?

You will find that by pressing the option key when you are in the File menu, that Duplicate changes to Save As… .

Here is my situation. I'm doing an application in forms 6.i. There's an ON-ERROR trigger defined at form level which calls a procedure programmed to treat errors. Inside this procedure I issue a message like "record is being used by another user" when I get the -54 dbms_error_code.
So far, so good. The problem is when I test the lock. I do a select for update nowait to lock a record (at sql*plus) and then I try to update this record (in forms). The exception is raised just fine. But when I returned to sql*plus and issue a rollback to end the transaction and go to forms and try to continue with the operation, I succeed, the record is recorded in the database but i get the error message "record is being used by another user". This happens always in the commit line of my code and I know that it passes through ON-ERROR and issue the message.
I know that it's because of the last error that ocurred (-54 lock). So i was wondering if there is a way of clearing this last error. Please, anyone can help me?

The On-error trigger gets raised for lots of different reasons. Only a few of these are caused by database errors, and ONLY THEN should you check dbms_error_code.
<p>When you get any other errors, ones caused by doing something wrong within the form processing, On-Error runs, but dbms_error_code is not changed. So you should not check it.
