Yeah that works, but, it involves a click on the event, a click on edit, a click on the date, keystrokes, plus, since you can't see the next month you have to have a calendar in front of you so as to put it to the right date. It's easier just to cut it and advance the month and paste it, once you are in the right month you can move it around helter skelter willy nilly no problems. Although now that you mention it I will try it, maybe it is easier than cut and paste as I don't really care about the date, as long as it gets moved into the right month I can drag it around all I want.

Your iPod is connected to the internet, and have you tried closing the game via the taskbar and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Tapped Out app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Tapped Out app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.
If you can't find it on any of your iPod's homescreens then can you connect the iPod to your computer's iTunes ? If you can then do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to make sure that all apps (and other downloads) are on your computer, and then on the iPod's Apps tab on your computer's iTunes you should be able to use the listbox of apps to find where a downloaded app is on your iPod (double-click an app in the listbox and it should show on the screen mock-ups where it is), and use the 'remove' button next to an app to delete it (which will also remove its content and settings) and click 'Apply' at the bottom right of the screen - the 'remove' button will then change to 'install' so that you can re-install it (and again click 'Apply') :

I have a question that you may be able to help with (anyone also feel free to take a stab). I use blogger to upload my photos and host my blog (www.sippingespresso.com). I spend hours organzing and editing photos - namely, I will enhance and sometimes alter an image in Apeture. It always saves over the orginal file (at least for viewing purposes), which is fine by me. But then when I go to upload the photos onto blogger it seems to always pull my dull, original image. Obviously, I want the newer, bright, enhanced photo.
I'm one step away from importing them, dragging them out of iphoto and into Photoshop, then editing the files and dragging them back into iphoto, deleting the originals and uploading from there. There HAS to be a better way - please help!! I've already posted far too many boring images without the beauty of Apeture's "auto enhance".

You get rid of iPhone and iPad apps in iTunes by selecting the app you wish to delete and then pressing the command+delete (or backspace) key in your Mac. I am not sure how is the behavior in OS X but if my memory serves me right, in Windows the deleted apps will appear in the trash bin. To free up the space just empty the trash. If the apps do not appear in the trash in OS X I would assume that they were deleted from the HDD and free up the space.
