Or is there a way to change this?

Have you checked the small info button (I) to see if there is a setting in the widget that would activate sharing? I couldn't find the widget to test.

I can't turn off "share crash data with app developers"

I enabled this feature accidentally during the onboarding process for my new Macbook Pro, and now I can't turn it off as the button is greyed out. 
The feature is located in in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy. 
Any suggestions for how to do this?

I PAD NOT PUSHING ENTERED CALENDAR DATA......BUT IS FETCHING

We are trying to sync all 5 products with Mobile ME......Desktop, laptop, iphone, ipod touch and ipad.....the ical works GREAT to push and fetch EXCEPT for the ipad!!! It is Fetching ALL the data entered with all the devices but NOT pushing the data if we enter it in the ipad.....all is updated and turn on.....is there a problem???? I cant for the life of me figure it out......the mobile ME is great for all these devices but really want to PUSH the info from iCal if we enter on the ipad!!!

Fear not.... You are not doing anything wrong. The problem lies within the iOS for iPad, unfortunately. The problem is after a certain amount of time, your iPad goes into sleep mode. Check your settings in your Autolock. (Settings, General, Autolock). When your iPad goes into sleep mode, it shuts down your wifi and data (if you have the 3G version).
Because I have an Exchange Server account, I can't change my Autolock settings to "Never". If you don't have Exchange Server, you may have this option. Theoretically, it should lessen your battery life, but I can't test it.
So, unless Apple changes the iOS to work exactly the same way as the iPhone OR if you can change your Autolock setting to NEVER, we are out of luck.
As it is now, when you slide to unlock your iPad, and go into calendar or mail, it updates. If you set it aside for a period of time, and come back, the only way to update your info is to unslide the Autolock and go back into Mail or Calendar.
So in short, unless the Autolock settings works for you, we all have to wait until Apple fixes this issue.

Nokia 6303i, calendar, date with a note highlight

Hello,
I just got a nokia 6303i as a work phone,and was wondering is there any way to get dates with notes or meetings highlighted in month view? In my current settings the dates get only bold marking wich makes very little difference. I need to see in a glance if I have something scheduled for a particular day, not by trying to determine if it is in bold or not.
Tryed out a couple of themes, none of them had it.
Tryed carbide.ui s40, but could not find an option to highlight dates with notes.
P.S. ataching an S60 calendar screen shot, wich has a red triangle in the corner for dates with notes or smth... So i need that in an S40, how hard can i be?

RKu2, this is not possible with the Nokia Suite. Although, it is a hot topic since the introduction of Symbian^3. Actually, this is a very hot one. However to summarize, there are alternatives for syncing the several calendars in your Outlook:

How to Share BPM Data with iTunes Match?

To ensure my Songs have current lyrics and reasonably accurate 'beats per minute (BPM)' data I've regularly used 3rd party tools. Using one of the computers with my complete library this data is updated typically on adding new Songs / Albums. Have noted recently that the lyrics, BPM and so on immediately updates on the library concerned. However, these updates do not appear to be replicated with iTunes Match?
Whilst the Songs are immediately listed for download on all other libraries, the additional data is not being shared. How can iTunes Match be tempted to share such data?
[I do have an inelegant method under a post for Metadata from early '12 but hoping that a neater solution has now been identified?]

After careful assessment it appears that there are no improved methods for reliable sharing of Song data with iTunes Match beyond the basic method identified in this thread.
Investigation by beaTunes reached the following conclusion:
Even if beaTunes updated those privileged fields - I don't think that guarantees that all other fields are also synced.
Sounds to me like iTunes Match is fundamentally flawed :-("
It would be very helpful if Apple would allow users of iTunes Match and 3rd party developers to signal when Song data has been updates such that iTunes Match can ensure Songs across the (up to) 10 devices are synchronised.
Until such time, only adding Songs with iTunes Match off, updating Song data as needed prior to switching iTunes Match on seems the pragmatic route forward. For Songs otherwise imported they need to be removed and re-added in this style to yield consistent Song data.

I lost my calendar data with Yosemite 10.10.2

MacBook Air (late 2010) with installed OWC 480 gig SSD hard drive. Updated to Yosemite 10.10.2
Only my calendar data lost. My husband's data is fine both for office and home. My new data is now in a file called 'Calendar' which I did not create. Old file was AMWhome. I changed the name from 'home' a year or so ago in order to differentiate from my husband's home file.
Restoring data to the newly named 'Calendar' brings back the AMWhome name and data for about 3 seconds and then it is gone! I found these files in the trash.
I have my data on another machine (MacBook Pro) which I took off-line and copied the data file. I tried to restore the data from the file from the MacBook Pro with the same result, the AMWhome appears and the data appears for about 3 seconds and is gone.
So, now what can I do?
I cannot empty the trash on my MacBook Air and cannot go online with my MacBook Pro.

1. Are you positive you looked at the correct backup IPD file. If it was backed up during the upgrade, it would be named something like "loader backup**todays date**.ipd"
They are normally saved to the My Documents folder.

Not able to use date with time in sql query

YOu are losing the Time information while fetching the data into a VARCHAR2 variable. change the datatype of v_date to DATE and get rid of the TO_DATE logic in cursor and simply use v_date variable.

Hi all, I'm currently using 10.5.8 as my primary startup disk, I want to set up a second drive with a Snow Leopard install, that's the easy part,
I want to be able to check my email when I'm in Snow Leopard mode, but I don't want to have my emails split between the two "Mail" installs
how do I get "Mail" in snow Leopard to look at/share the data with my Mail app on the 10.5.8 drive? so that I can keep all of my mail in one place until I'm ready to make the switch in full, over to Snow Leopard?

Here's an example that does what you want.
Since you didn't give starting values, I had to make some assumptions that made the example numbers in your table fit the calculations. As it turned out, a 2400 initial amount and 1666.69 increments each month produced 22402.68 after 12 months.
I used an auxiliary table, Start, to contain the starting date, and placed the 'current date' in A1 of the main table. For the automatic version, use the formula =TODAY() where I've placed the current date.
The copy of Table 1 (Table 1-1) shows the result on the fifteenth of the following month.
Formula:
B4: =2400+(DATEDIF(Start :: A1,$A$1,"M")*C4)
Format the cell as number, with two places after the decimal, or as Currency, if you want the currency sign.

Why does iTunes 12.1 does not sync new calendar appointments with Outlook 2013?

After updating iTunes to 12.1 64 bit for windows my NEW appointments, contacts and notes are not syncing from Outlook 2013 to my iPhone 5 and iPad Air. Syncing was working fine before I updated to iTunes 12.1. I have disabled all add-ins in Outlook just in case they were the cause of the problem but that hasn't helped either.

Thanks all for sharing your experience. I have finally done the following to carry on syncing:
(1) Uninstalled all Apple services: update, mobile sync bonjour and anything else I could find that was provided by Apple (see Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 - Apple Support
(2) Restored Windows 8.1 to a relatively recent restore point.
(3) The restore also provided me with the previous version of iTunes 12.0.1.26x64 in the Download folder (and not the later iTunes 12.1 version)
(4) I installed this in Program Files (x86) - my first attempt to install this version of iTunes in Program Files did not work.
And I am now able to sync Outlook 2013 with my iPhone/iPad Air.
Also I have unticked the alert me to iTunes update in preferences ... just to be sure that I don't get into this mess again.
Just wondering how long does it take Apple to fix things that they are aware of - or is it a case of working to their next update schedule.

Putting pictures in calendar date WITH Text

I am stumped as to why Apple would do this? When you import all your dates into the calendar feature they show up. When you place a picture on one of those dates-the date and the text disappear. Was there not some easy way to make the picture transparent or smaller so the info can be shown as well. This to me is annoying-I want to see the name and date as well as the picture.Anyone found a backdoor way to do this?

NOTE TO APPLE IN UPDATES: Make date and text visible on date block AS WELL as picture!

You can get text over the pictures.
The trick is to cntr-click the picture and send it to the back. One would think this would be enough. However, you now need to cntr-click in the LOWER part of the square and select bring to front TWICE.
Using this recipe, I can consistently get text over pictures (and even change the color of the text for more contrast). However, this change does not seem to hold once you quit and restart iPhoto, at least for me. I am looking for confirmation of this fact in another message before I submit a bug report.

Should Not handle large base64Binary data with BPEL?

we need to implement a file saving function. I have no problem to implement the web service with Java class by using MTOM streaming but I question on the best design with BPEL for this or if BPEL should not be used for this at all. Please help.
For the requirement, the file content could be the text entered from a web page or the binary data from any resource such as an existing file or email message body etc, which is not limited. Also the web service would receive the desired file name. But the actual file name should be created by the web service based on the desired file name plus some business rule.
I am thinking of creating a BPEL app for this. The input for the file content is designed to be of type base64Binary so that the application could handle either ASCII or Binary data. In this BEPL app, it needs first to call a web service to get the information where to put the file (this is dynamic) and generate the actual file name and then it calls another web service to save the file with the actual file name and content. I wonder in the case of saving content of big size such as content read from a PDF file, it could cause resource issue due to the dehydration in BPEL. I am not so clear about dehydration. Does that mean when the BPEL invokes the 1st web service to get the information where to put the file, the base64Binary data for the file content would be first saved into the DB (dehydrated)? Would this cause issue? If so, does that mean for this business needs, we should not use SOA, instead, we should just implement it with JAX-WS?

Access current Calendar data with script (Siebel 8)

Is there any way to get the current date and time the user has currently choosen in the calendar (daily view) applet, so this informaton can be used for scripting?

Hi,
I just figured out the issue here...
I had created a DB "SiebelDB" with default sort order... Ideally Siebel 8.1.1 recommends Latin1_General_BIN as RDBMS collation and while runing database server configuration utility, it is recommended to select Binary sort order.
