Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. This is suing EXPEDIA and Tripadviosr.com

I have an iPad 3, iPad Mini and iPhone 5S and they are all sluggish on capitalisation using shift keys. I hope that Apple will solve the problem because it is driving me crazy.
I find using a Microsoft Surface and Windows 8 phone, which I also have, work as well as all the ios devices before the ios 7 upgrade.
It has something to do with the length of time that you need to hold the shift key down. The shift key needs to be held longer than the letter key for the capitalisation to work. For some reason, this is a major change in the way we have learnt to touch type on computers. I am having to relearn how to type!

The video and sound was working on my computer two days ago (and has ALWAYS worked on my computer since purchasing it in 2010) but now for some reason I can't play video and there is no sound. I updated software today. Still sound & video not working.
Please help.One of the following steps should help.
1. Install Adobe Flash Player.

Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Enable Plug-ins
Safari > Preferences > Security

Click in the box for "Enable Plug-ins".
3. Check whether you are currently in YouTube HTML 5 trial.

At the bottom left of the page uncheck the box for
"You are currently in the HTML5 trial".
4. Reset Safari.
Click Safari in the menu bar.
From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
Uncheck the boxes next to all items.
Check the box next to "Remove all website data".

5. Turn off Extensions/Plug-ins if any that may interfere with Flash working properly.

Did you set up your phone to sync Contacts with iCloud? If not sure, you can log in to https://www.icloud.com and see if your contacts are there.

I own an iPod Classic. In iTunes, some podcast videos cant be played on teh iPod, so I set it to convert the video to the right format for the iPod. It used to work perfectly, but now for some reason, it doesnt convert properly! When I play the video, it is just a white screen, but the sound can be heard. Can anyone help??????
Your source video file is probably muxed.
Neither QT Pro or iTunes has the ability to successfully encode a muxed video file with audio. You'll end up with video and no audio.
See: iPod plays video but not audio of some exported files.
You'll need to use some other third-party software to do the conversion. There's a handful of software available. Just search the forums and you'll find many titles mentioned.
Try MPEG Streamclip. -
For some reason I can not launch Dash board anymore. I have used Finder and it is not there. What can I co besides take computer into service?
1. It's possible you removed Dashboard from your Dock by mistake. In that case, you can find it in your Applications folder and drag it back to the Dock to create the alias. The entire Dock are aliases.
2. If you cannot find in your Applications folder you can try re-installing the Combo Update I linked to.
This is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing. It does not matter if you have applied it before. -

Any ideas anyoneI found the culprit in my case: after update to itunes 12 iPhone is X GB over the limit.
Check your sync settings for each type of content in the left sidebar. In my case I had sync turned off for everything but ringtones. After iTunes update for some reason the entire music library is set to sync with the phone. Turning it off reconciled the storage issue. Perhaps in your case it is some other new content marked for syncing. -

Some heating is normal when in use. It's only abnormal if it gets too hot to hold in your hand. If it's in a case, take it out, and move it to a cooler environment. If it gets to be a big concern, make an appointment at a Genius Bar to have it evaluated.
