HT2500 How do I attach emails to another email?

I want to attach several separate emails and send them to someone rather than forward them all individually. I know I used to be able to do this on my old Dell.
I am using microsoft office for mac [cant see this in the list below] and my internet provider is AOL.
Many thanks

With Microsoft Entourage, here's a discussion thread that might interest you, or possibly this, and here is some Microsoft Entourage documentation.
With Apple Mail (Mail.app) drag the messages over into the send window.  (And yes, it is possible to configure Mail.app with AOL as your mail server, and without disrupting Microsoft Entourage.)

  • HT2500 How do I attach my personal photo in the upper right hand corner of the emails I send out?

hello - How do I attach my personal photo in the upper right hand corner of the emails I send out?

The photos displayed by Mail.app are retrieved from the contents of your address book; from your contacts.
The photos are local to Mail.app, and are not sent out as part of the messages.

  • How do I attach emails in a new email?

By selecting/highlighting an email message, I can do "Message-->Forward as Attachment" and this will create a new email message with the selected/highlighted email attached.
If I create a new email message (or reply to existing message), how can I attach another email to it? I can not find any option and drag-drop doesn't work.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Sorry about that.
I am able to reproduce the problem. Unfortunately, the Apple Bug Reporter is down right now. Here is how to reproduce it:
    1) Send yourself an email message with an image attachment.
    2) Check your mail.
    3) In your Inbox, select the message you just sent yourself.
    4) Compose a new message. Change both the to and from addresses to be different than the first message.
    5) Choose Append Selected Messages from the Edit menu.
    6) Send the new message.
    7) Check your email again.
    8) Observe that the image in the newly recieved message is displayed in both the Sent mailbox and Inbox.
    9) View the Raw source of the newly received message.
    10) Observe that there is no actual image data in the message.
    11) Check your email on a different machine.
    12) Observe that there is only a placeholder error indicator where the image should be.
It is quite common for people to have multiple email accounts. I would not recommend the Append Selected Messages feature due to this bug. The one-at-a-time drag and drop message attach method does not have this problem. If you see people complaining about missing attachments, this could be a possible reason.

  • How do you attach/email more than one document from the pages app?

How do you send more than one document from the pages app on an iPad?

This is entirely frustrating and I have yet to find an answer for this question even though people have been asking it on the internet for over a year!
I am relatively new to apple and I was considering staying with them for my next iphone because of my apps, but after paying for this app and discovering I can't email more than one document "page" at a time? This makes no sense. Please fix this apple, I'd like to say you have replaced my tablet PC for home-office work but now I am reconsidering...

  • How do I attach another user's photo to email in my account?

How do I attach a photo from another user's (my wife's) iPhoto library to an email (gmail) that I am writing from my account on my iMac (using OSX 10.7.5)?  I have set up both iPhoto applications to allow sharing and have updated the Get Info in my wife's account to allow my account to read the pictures folder and enclosed items.  When trying to attach to the email, I am now able to open my wife's pictures folder, but her iPhoto library is still greyed out, so I cannot see the photos to select them.
    Thank you.

The easiest way to do what you want is to both backup your Libraries to an external hard drive (eHD) using some kind of backup software. Then you can just select tracks from her Library on the eHD and drag them into your iTunes on your laptop.
However, this means that your laptop will fill up with songs that you both have, which will waste space. There is no way round this unless you share.
when I go to add files from her username I see a red minus symbol on the folder and cannot get into it.
Yes, this is the way OS X works : each user only has normal access to their own files, and sees the red symbol for other users. It's to do with permissions and security and privacy.
I'm not interested in sharing because I would like to burn a disc in the future with these files.
The ability to burn discs from playlists is unaffected by having a shared library
To prevent ourselves from burning the same disc twice
Isn't this MORE likely to happen if you have duplicate songs across two libraries?

  • How can I attach an image without the image is in the email body? (using the new mail the Lion)

How can I attach an image without the image is in the email body? (using the new mail the Lion)
I want in attachment, not in the body mail.

I think your only solution is to zip the image files first and then attach them.
Read this from a site I found:
Sending Graphical Attachments -- When you attach a graphical image to your message, the recipient of your message sees the image inline (that is, in the body of the message) if her email client supports inline display. ("Take Control of Email with Apple Mail" contains a table listing the capabilities of popular Mac and PC email clients.) If a client does not support inline display (or the recipient has turned off the inline display option), the file appears as an attachment that must be opened in a separate program.
On the one hand, an inline image is easier for the recipient to see - all she has to do is look at it. On the other hand, inline images can be frustrating to scroll through. If you do not wish to send a graphical image inline, you must compress the file before attaching it - Mail, sadly, lacks a built-in compression option, though fortunately for Panther users, the Finder offers Zip compression without requiring a separate application.
Note that when you compose a new message, Mail always shows attachments in the body of your message. You can manually drag them somewhere else, but many email clients display all attachments in a separate list, regardless of where you place them in the message body.
If you paste an image into a message or drag & drop an image from another window (say, a Web browser), Mail converts the raw image data to an attachment in TIFF format. On the other hand, if you drag & drop the icon of an image file (or use the Attach button to locate the file using the file browser), Mail leaves the attached image in its original format. This difference is significant, because although most email clients can display JPEG images just fine, support for TIFF - especially in non-Mac email clients - is less common. If possible, I suggest attaching image files as opposed to pasting or dragging in raw image data.

  • I want to drag files to mails but not in body of mail , more over the available type of attachments is only photo or video so how I can attach another type

I want while replying incoming mails to drag files to mails but not in body of mail , more over the available type of attachments is only photo or video so how I can attach another type

There is no dragging of anything in iOS.
Attach as many files or emails as you'd like until it reaches the max capacity of attachements for the email provider.

Another consideration would be the connection speed of your recipients - not everyone has a fast connection and getting a 25 MB could take a while to download.
A better idea for videos is to post them online for your friends and family to watch.

  • Attaching Email to another Email

My ISP requires that spam be attached to an email that is sent to them. How do you attach an email to another email?

AFAIK, none of the methods suggested so far would allow you to include the raw source of a message as an attachment. If the reason the message has to be sent as an attachment is just to ensure that the full headers are included, then you can accomplish that with any of those methods by setting Preferences > Viewing > Show header detail to All, as Dominick suggested.
If that’s an acceptable solution and you only “attach” one message at a time, instead of changing the Preferences > Viewing > Show header detail setting for all the messages, which you probably don’t want to do, you may do View > Message > Long Headers while viewing the message that’s going to be “attached” — you may add a Show Headers button to the toolbar to make that more convenient.
If that’s not an acceptable solution, the only way I know to send a message as a true attachment in Mail is as follows (you don’t have to care about your Preferences > Viewing > Show header detail setting when using this method):
    1. Select the messages that you want to include as an attachment.
    2. Do File > Save As, choose Raw Message Source from the Format poup menu, and save it wherever you wish.
    3. Add the saved file as an attachment to the message you’re composing, just like you would do with any other attachment.

Hi. How do I attach more than one document to an email originating from my iPad, especially if the documents come from different apps? When starting an email there's no option for attachments, unless you send the document from inside an app like iBook and then you can only send one at a time.

How can I attach j-pegs and other documents to an email unopened and stop each them taking up a whole page of my email ?

In addition to the last poster's suggestion  -  just so you know, it also depends on the email program the recipient uses as to how they will see any attachments - for instance, when I am using my Yahoo Mail, I am absolutely unable to view any attachment within the browser window - Yahoo forces me to download it; there is no way for me to check it (like a preview) to see if I want to download it or not.
And, FWIW: the window shown in the screenshot does not show on my version of Mail 5.1 (which is the latest for 10.7.2); the only one similar shows when viewing a message received with an attachment, not while sending one. So that must be a different version.

  • How can I attach a PDF file to an email I am replying to?

    Hi!
How can I attach a PDF file already saved on my iPad to an existing email I am replying to from my inbox??

If you have the PDF stored on the iPhone as a separate file you obviously also have a third party app for reading it, so you should be able to e-mail it from there.
If it's on an existing e-mail, forward the e-mail and just change the contents but include the pdf

  • How can I attach a form to an email with TO address default in?

I have a form with a hyperlink to an email address.  I want to have it when the user clicks the hyperlink the form attaches to an email with the address filled out.  I have figured out how to open an email with the email filled out; and how to open an email with the form attached - but not both.  I am not very familiar with JavaScript - but I have to believe there is a way to "Execute a menu item -- File>Attach to email..." AND "open a web link -- Mailto:[email protected]".

You can use either the doc.mailDoc (best) or doc.submitForm JavaScript methods. For more information, see:
