HT2523 What happened to "summarize" as a service in text edit?

I used to have a summarize service in my text edit - since I upgraded to Lion - it seems to be gone? Can I restore this somehow?

I have been speaking with Verizon Wireless Service since April about a phone that was lost in the mail. I have talked with numerous agents, most recently (removed). She was the most helpful, but has simply vaporized as they all seem to do.
I've been told I'd be called back, someone was working on my case, there are no managers who can assist, you need to mail the headquarters, etc. Each time I have been patient and gone along. Now I'm furious. No one has solved the problem or even offered to help. The old Verizon would have looked at my record as a customer, realized that I was a great family customer now and simply waived the fee.
The new Verizon keeps sending me around to other people who start at the beginning and don't have any decision making authority. If this is really what Verizon thinks of its customers, then it might be time for a switch.
I sent a letter to the address list on the web site (great customer service for a phone company) and no one responded. This is how I'd expect a low-cost carrier to treat someone, not a Verizon customer.
I'd like to speak with a human being with decision-making authority. Please read my case number before calling. I've repeated it a few dozen time in the last few months. Better yet, simply eliminate the payment from the bill.
Have others experienced this behavior?

What happened to "Summarize Options" dialog (connector lines) in Acrobat X?

I just tried to create a "connector line" PDF in Acrobat X and discovered that the "Summarize Options" dialog has been removed. (File>>Print>>Summarize Comments). Up through Acro 9, clicking the Summarize Options would cause the following dialog to appear:

HT2523 What happened to my TextEdit?

What used to be a great program for editing has turned into a nightmare.
I can't "save as" anymore. Why on earth would they change that function. It's a total FU now!
Bring back the old TextEdit. It was wonderful. My "go-to" editor. Now it's a POS!!

You can get to "save as" by holding the "alt" key while "file" menu is open.
But
It's even easier just to click on the document title and select duplicate, then change the name and location. Try it for a while and see, works great.

What happened to the date and time of text messages, on my Iphone 4. This stopped about four days ago.

As of four days ago, the date and time of my text messages does not appear. I don' t know what hapened. I have reset the network settings, but it didn't fix the problem.

I4m trying to open a workbook and before doing anything it shows me the message "Unable to find error text from this exception", after this, it appears another one "attempt to open workbook failed". Help me to find why i4m not able to open the workbook, which could be the reason.

I think this has something to do with the folders that
you are using? Have you renamed an old folder and then
recreated another folder as its replacement?

What happened to the "Quickly view original photo" while editing in iPhoto?

I think it used to be "spacebar" or something in iPhoto 9, it quickly switched between the original photo and your current changes which was very useful.

What happens when calls/txts are blocked for a number?

I figured out how to block incoming calls/txts from a phone number in spam controls. What happens if they try to call or text? Are they aware that the number is blocked or does it seem "normal" except I don't receive anything?

Blocked individuals who call a customer will hear the message:
"Welcome to Verizon Wireless. The number you were trying to reach has calling restrictions which has prevented the completion of your call."
If someone tries to text you from a number you have blocked they will get an error that the text failed to send. You will not receive any notification that a blocked number attempted to text you.

First tell me is it a LOng Text or Not? because I don't find any other texts for the PO's at item level? where exactly you see this terxt in PO? can you elaborate more?
If it is a LONG text then have to use the READ_TEXT fun module
for this you have to pass the 4 fields
OBJECT = EKPO
ID = see the text after double clicking
OBJECTNAME = concatenation of PO number + Item Number
LANG = EN

What happened to my service in Mexico?

I suddenly do not have service in Mexico. My plan says that I do and I am in an area that I have spent much time in the last 4 years having few problems. Suddenly my service is gone. In a time of emergency it wasn't there leaving me in a dangerous situation and unable to reassure my family.. T-Mobile plans work here as do AT&T as well as Sprint what happened to Verizon service? My daughter tried to help me by going into an office and telling them of my problems but they were not helpful. It is not like I can call Verizon myself because I am searching for service. What happened to our web services after upgrading to 701?

We started using web services on a 700 server. Looks something like this.

We could create a proxy in vb.net and call our SAP web services like this:

        Dim input As New sapserver.ZGetuname
        Dim output As New sapserver.ZGetunameResponse
        out2 = ws.ZGetuname(input)
After upgrading to nw ep 7.1, which looks like this.

We no longer get the same input and ouput classes generated for us when consuming the service. It looks like it is now expected to be called like a function    ws.ZGetuname( param 1, param 2).
We would like to be able to generate the proxy the same way as before. Any ideas?

What happened to the file numbers after switching to Photos. It would be nice to still have the file numbers show.
You mean, the filename with the number on the card?
Photos does not use the filenames as a title, when displaying the thumbnails. The filename will only show in the Info panel.
Copy the filenames to the title field in the Info panel and then enable "Metadata" in the View menu.
I wrote a script to copy the filenames automatically to the title field, see:

What happened to my iMessages when I didn't have cellular service?

I was out of the country for a month and had to use IMessage through my iCloud email after my number needed cellular service to reconnect to wifi. So what happened to all the iMessages sent to my number during that time without any service?
iPhone 5s. iOS 7.1.2

My phone number was not linked to IMessage and only my icloud email worked. so what happens to the imessages sent to my phone number while it's not linked to IMessage?
