How to create an apple id without credit card?

You follow the instructions on the page that you just posted from i.e. select a free app in the store and click on 'create Apple ID' when 'buying' it (you need to create a new id, the instructions won't work on an account that's already been created)

I DON'T have a credit card number, I CAN'T find the "none" button when I do it. I can't FIND the "free app" on iTunes. What should I do? I tried this for months and still didn't get my apple id done, so I CAN'T download apps on the app store.

Unless you follow, exactly, the instructions on the HT2534 page that you posted from when creating an account then you won't get the 'none' option - the instructions won't work with existing accounts, and if you don't use the instructions then you will need to enter credit card details before the account can be used to download any item from the store.
You will need to create a new account. If you want to use the same email address then you will need to replace it on your existing acocunt first e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on your Mac's iTunes or http://appleid.apple.com
Find any free app in the store (there are thousands of free apps) e.g. iBooks, and create the account as part of the process of 'buying' it. I've just tried the instructions again and I got the 'none' option.

Hi, I had this problem as well. Everyone kept telling me just to select the "None" option next to the credit card choices -- but I didn't HAVE a "None" option and was getting very frustrated!
It turns out that in this case, you do have to add a credit card to finish creating your Apple ID. Then as soon as it's created, you can go to "Account" at the bottom and immediately remove your credit card information. This worked for me -- my credit card was only in the system for about 15 seconds before I was able to remove it with no problem.
Hopefully this works for you as well!!
Unless you don't have a credit card at all, in which case there might not be a solution. I have a credit card and just didn't want my information stored by Apple. Anyway, good luck!

Hi, I accidentally registered an Apple ID without setting credit card to none, now I cant use App store without review my ID and putting in a credit card info, what should I do?

Unfortunately the only thing that you can do is to enter a bank card or a gift card. Or abandon this Apple ID and create a new one following these instructions carefully;

As per the point "Select None as the payment type." there is no option for "NONE"?? to create an Apple ID. Its really frustrating.. can any1 help me

e.g. I logged out of my existing account, found a free app in the store and clicked on its free 'price' :
Clicked on 'create Apple id' on the popup :
Agreed to the terms and filled in my details, and got 'none' as an option on the payments screen :

I've just bought an ipad mini 2 in India, I expected to get free apps from itunes but I couldn't. I've followed every tips likewise finding the "none" credit card or creating so many appleID account but untill now it doesn't work anyone can help me to fix this or should I do some thing like returnning the Ipad to the reseller in my country? Please help

9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account
14. Start downloading your free apps

HT2534 Apple ID issues.

I created an Apple ID on my iPad, and now whenever I want to install an app, a pop up asks me to review my account. When I proceed to review my account, I am forced to pick a method of payment, even though I want to create my apple ID without a credit card (there is no option that says No Payment.) Any suggestions?

If not then you will need to provide credit card details, which you should be able to remove after entering it.

Ok so I made my apple Id via apple.com but when I go to download free apps I do all the steps for a free id and after filling in name and address and hitting next i get a black shadow where the popup used to be and it just stays like that any help would be appreciated
Oh forgot to mention I can't do it via iTunes on my xp because I have no Internet connection at home so I'm doing this on my iPad with mc donalds free wifi

My App Store is now asking for a payment method for free apps, it never did that when I first bought the phone and set up my account, so imagine my surprise when this started happening. When I give the information necessary it then says declined. I cannot update the free apps the I have previously downloaded, nor can I download new free apps. What do I do? This has continued incessantly for the past few days now.

Can I give this card number in the required field and if so, will any debit contravene Indian foreign exchange regulations?
