Open iTunes and go to the iTunes Store. In the current Mac version, click on your name in the toolbar and choose 'Account details'. Log in. Click 'Edit' next to 'Payment details' and choose 'None' from the options available, or click the type of card you want to use and enter the details. Click 'Done' at bottom right, then again in the first page to leave the account details.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click “iTunes Store” in the left navigation pane. Click the “down arrow” next to your name at the top right side of the page and click “Account.” Enter your username and password and click “View Account” to log into your account information. Next to your Payment Type, click “Edit.” Select the “None” button and click “Done.” Confirm that your card has been removed by returning to the Apple account information screen. Under Payment Type, it should say that there is no credit card on file.

  • HT1689 How can I turn off my iTunes account on an iPad

How can I turn off my apple I'd on an iPad?

Sam's answer is correct, but WHY would you want to not be connected to the Store, or Facetime, or Messages, or anything which makes the iPad such a great device?

  • How can I remove my credit card information from my iTunes account?

I've never used a credit card in my account before, I decided to to use a Visa gift card that was given to me this past Christmas, but once I used up all the funds I can't remove it from my account. What can I do? Feel free to email me about this issue. THANKS!

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit the payment info on that account by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into the account, and on the account's details page there should be a payment link.  If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then tap on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and select 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on the account's page.

  • HT1689 How do I remove credit card information from my iTunes account

Hello my name is Deionte and I put a credit card on my ipad 2 to purchase some music and now I would like it off because it is keeping me from buying any other apps because of billing information that has changed and nothing has changed.

First you will have to take care of the outstanding balance. Then you can only adjust the payment method in iTunes on the comptuer, not on the phone.
To take care of the balance, you will have to contact iTunes support. http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html No one here can help you with this.

  • HT204053 How do I change the charging credit card associated with my iTunes account?

I need to change my credit card info.  How do I do that?

Once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change the address (short of creating an entirely new account).
However, all is not lost. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.

  • HT1918 I am unable to change the credit card information on my iTunes account

My old credit expired so I need to edit the credit card info...after trying with various different (and active) cards the iTunes window still tells me "Temporarily unable to process this request...please try again later"...I have done this for 2 days...The iTunes Help topics have no answers for this problem....it's been over 48 hrs since submitting my "help" request to Apple but still no follow-up. Perhaps the Apple support community has somene who knows what the problem (and fix) is? BTW, I'm really dissapointed at Apple lately: never-ending version control, redundant (annoying) security requests for login and really poor help menus. How about a FAQ for troubleshooting? Non-existent...I guess that's why people like us end up fending for ourselves in the "Community" help sewer, spending the night on Google looking for a real solution. Thanks Apple. You suck!

Spooky6243 has the solution for CC updates (it worked for me, anyway!): log in to the Apple Store on your web browser (http://http://store.apple.com/us) and then update your account inof there...credit card updates will appear on the iTunes application after making changes thru the website...I wonder why Apple never tells us this in the first place? Probably because it should work thru either application...good luck everyone!
P.S. - And make sure your iTunes app is closed before you make changes on the website (this may help you Geordon).

Man, that isn't cool.  Seems like a loop error of some sort.  No matter though, we can circumvent that by contacting iTunes directly through their Support.  You will want to use Express Lane first to contact iTunes Store Support via email or chat (if available).
You can also call AppleCare (1-800-MYAPPLE) to assist if Express Lane is either down or you do not get a response in 24-48 hours.  Make sure you inform them if you tried to use Express Lane and got no response or if it is down.  They have direct chat access if the need arises.

Then ask whoever sent it to you to remove it and create a new PDF.
There is one thing you can check first and that’s layers in the PDF. Perhaps whoever created it put that on a top layer and you can just turn it off.

How can you take off the volume  limit on iPod touch ?

Which "volume limit" do you mean?
All iPods have a volume limit feature that you can set yourself and on your iPod, go into Settings/Music/Volume Limit. There, you can set the volume limit to maximum, which is the same as turning it off.
However, if you mean the EU (European Union) volume restriction, on all iPods sold inside the EU, you cannot turn that off.
