I have just received an ipad and trying to find my way around. I have created an apple id and I want to download a game that is marked as free. However it comes up with a box for me to fill in my visa card details which it then rejects. What do I have to do to download a free app. Any help would be hugely appreciated, thanks.

Create a iTune and App Store account without credit card
1. Go to App Store and select a free app
2. Tap INSTALL APP
3. Create New Apple ID
4. Confirm Your Country
5. Agree with Terms and Conditions
6. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (must be a valid email address)
7. Create and answer your secret question e.g. What is the name of my dog?
8. Select NONE for Payment Method
9. Fill in Billing Address i.e. your address
10. Submit application for new Apple ID
11. Wait for verification email
12. When email arrive, verify your account
13. Start downloading your free apps

Are you able to download the app using your apple ID on a computer? If it is saying your apple ID is disabled that could mean apple had seen fit to disable it for some reason. Check to make sure you don't owe and money on your account or anything.

Is this a new Apple iD? If it is, and you have already set it up, then you have two options:
1. Temporarily put a Credit Card or Gift Card on the account to download the free app. If you put a credit card, then once you have downloaded the app, you should be able to go into your Account preferences and change the payment option to = None.
2. You can download the fee App, and then set up a new Apple ID.

I have just tried to install the full version of Anthill to my iPod touch Gen 4. I get a message on the iPod saying "Anthill failed to install" and an error on the computer "OxE8000004". I already had Anthill Free installed so deleted it in case it was interferring with the new download. I can install other free apps but now can't even install Anthill Free. I have tried the 7 resolution steps advised by Apple and have totally run out of ideas as to what I can try next. Same problem, I have a season pass for Mad Men and suddenly cannot download, says iTunes is temporarily unavailable. Problem occurred before I updated to the new iTunes and afterwards, on two different computers. Here is what Apple had to say:

Is this a new account? Even though its a free app the account holder needs to be verified by a verifiabel payment method. Once the account is created, you can remove the info.

Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.42 is the most recent version from Adobe. It is a pre-release version. I am using it without any noticeable problems.
The current stable version is Download 11.7.700.169.

There are no robots here. Everyone here is a "real person", a user just like you. How about telling us what the problem is that you are experiencing when you try to buy a song? If you mean that you have forgotten your security questions, go to:
