You were creating a new account and you followed, exactly, the steps on the HT2534 page that you posted from when creating the account ? I've just tried the instructions on my computer's iTunes and I got the 'none' option when creating a new account

    You are following the instructions on that page exactly for creating a new account (it won't work with an existing account) e.g. selecting a free app in the store and clicking on 'create Apple id' when 'buying' it ?

    You aren't going to be able to delete it without the correct password.  If it's your ID, you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625.  If it isn't your ID, you will have to get the password for the person who owns the ID.  There's no way around this and no one else can help.

    If you have changed country on your account then I don't think that items bought whilst it was set to a different country will show (that appears to be what other people have posted).
    In terms of your music, have you not got a backup of your content ? You computer's iTunes will only copy iTunes purchases back via File > Transfer Purchases.  You could see if the programs mentioned half-way down this page are any use : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

    You need to follow the steps in that article exactly, in particular:
    You must download and install a free app.
    To find a free app, navigate to the Top Charts column on the right side of the App Store window. Scroll down until you see the list of Free Apps. Select any app by clicking on it. Then click Free App underneath the app icon.
    In the pop-up window, click Create Apple ID.

    Did you following the instructions as written using an email address not used with Apple before?
    Maybe your country does not allow it. The USA does allow it.

  • I cannot find emails from a second account in mail, after migrating by USB stick

    I wanted to migrate my mails from Apple mail from an old iMac (OS X 10.3.9) to a newer MacMini (OS X 10.6.8).
    The migration assistent did not work, so I used an USB stick to drag the 'mail' file from te library and the 'com.apple.mail.plist file from the preferences file, and dropped both in my MacMini Library - and preferences folder.
    But now I only have the head-account mails, less than 1 perecent of what I needed from the second account.
    The copies 'mail'file is 1.02 GB, so they must be somewhere...
    I see 852 messages in the 'sent.imapm.box' but as grey squares, woth the yellow text 'exec' left obove in it.
    Clicking on it gives only text like: Mac mini from (name)..and a lot of 'Library'in it.
    Help! how can I get it visible again? There's pretty much important in it: my professional mails of the last 3 years...
    I tried to recopy on the old iMac, but that did not work either, amd the 'mail' file from there is as good as emty, something went terribly wrong.

    Found it, I think. At least all mails are visible now: When installing the 'new 'Mac, I changed the setting fromm SSL to non-SSL, but this changes also the port number. I did it while my provider told me that they did not use that security system. The new e-mail came in visible, I don't know why the eldest mails came in without any problem, but after thicking the SSL box, the e-mails came in visible.
    I also imported not from Apple mail in 'importing mailboxes' but from 'm-box-structure' below in the list of mailboxes to import.
    Only problem is that all outging mails are no longer sorted by receiver, but by sender: all from me of course.

    If your subscription has not expired yet, you should still be able to sign in and continue using it.
    Would you go to the Adobe Reader home screen, tap "My Account" in the lower left corner, and sign in with the original Adobe ID that you used to purchase the subscription service (Adobe ExportPDF or Adobe PDF Pack)?

    I'm a student. I have some problem with payment method. I don't have credit card. I can't find the none button to choose and I don't know how to do to get this button . This is my first time creating apple ID.

    Unless you used the instructions on the HT2534 page that you posted from when creating the account then you won't get the 'none' option - if you don't use those instructions then credit card details will need to be entered before an account can be used in the stores.

    If you want to use the same email address on a new account then you can change it on the one that you've already created by logging into it via the Store > View Account menu option on your Mac's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com

    You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
    1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one
    2. Go to App Store and select a free app
    3. Tap INSTALL APP
    4. Create New Apple ID
    5. Confirm Your Country
    6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
    7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (must be a valid email address; don't use the one you have created earlier)
    8. Create and answer your secret question
    9. Select NONE for Payment Method
    10. Fill in Billing Address
    11. Submit application for new Apple ID
    12. Wait for verification email
    13. When email arrive, verify your account
    14. Start downloading your free apps

    Did not work. I've selected iMessage to ON and left it. After a few hours I recieved a message "activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again". This has been going on for the past 3 days.
