    First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

    It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

    Everytime I try to open itunes it will not open. I did not put 7.0 on my computer. I changed nothing, using a different internet connection. Please help.

    The same thing happened with me, so i re started my computer and it worked just fine. You might try that before anything else.

    After iTunes requested that I download latest version on PC it now will not open.  2 error messages appear.  first:  The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.  second:  iTunes was not installed correctly please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126).  I have tried reinstalling a number of times and restarting computer but no luck.

    This happened to me today as well post installing the latest version of itunes.   I did a search on google for the error and came across a recommendation to :
    Note: Start Windows in Safe Mode to complete any of the following steps if you're unable to access Windows normally due to the msvcr80.dll error.
    If, and only if, you're receiving the msvcr80.dll is missing error when you open Apple iTunes, do the following: (skip this step if your msvcr80.dll error is occurring with a different program)
    Uninstall from Windows the following five programs in this order: iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, and finally Apple Application Support. If you have iCloud, remove it as well.
    Uninstalling these programs in Windows is done from an applet in Control Panel called Programs & Features (in Windows 8, 7, or Vista) or Add or Remove Programs (in Windows XP).
    Note: Songs and playlists in iTunes will not be removed when you uninstall the iTunes program or any of the other, already-mentioned Apple programs. If you'd still like to back them up, they're usually located in the My Music folder in Windows.
    Download the latest version of iTunes from Appleand note the location you're saving it to so you can find it once it's done.
    Run the iTunes installation as an administrator. If you're not sure how to do that, see How Do I Open an Elevated Command Prompt? for help. That procedure shows you how to open the Command Prompt program as an administrator, but the steps are essentially the same for anything, including the iTunes installation package you just downloaded.
    A general overview of removing and reinstalling iTunes can also be found here on Apple's site but the above procedure seems to work better in this particular situation.

  • Support will not reset security questions to allow purchases on account.

    So awhile back I decided to format my pc due to installing new components into it. I logged into my itunes account after and it told me I will need to answer my security questions in order to purchase any more songs. It also gave me the option to send support an email so they could reset my questions.
    I went ahead and sent them an email and they replied back almost instantly saying they recieved my concern and within 2 days I will have an update email to tell me what's going on. Waited two days and nothing came through the email. A week after the original email, I sent another to see if there was any updates about my request or possibly a time frame.
    I got this in a reply.

    Ronald, I know how frustrating this situation is, and please be assured that I have your request escalated and flagged as my top priority.     If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
    If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

  • After updating my wife's iPad to iOS6 the ipad will not connect to wifi on certain wireless routers. What can we do? Also, same for iPad mini with same router. But iPhone that has iOS5 has no problem connecting.

    Need help. Before updating to latest software iOS6 the iPad had no issues connecting on our home router. After updating the iPad will not work. We have a mini iPad with same issue. But I have a iPhone 4S that I chose not to update to iOS6, still has iOS5. It connects no problem to router. Our computers have no issues connecting to router either. There is a software issue with iOS6.0.1 that will not allow certain routers to communicate. What can I do?  Also, the mini iPad stated a newer version of software is out, version 6.0.2 which is supposed to correct the wifi problems. It has helped but still haven't connectivity issues. However, the iPad states software is up-to-date so we cannot update to 6.0.2 even through connecting to computer on iTunes. How can that be?

    Try going to settings, reset , reset network settings.

    Run the diagnostics (Help, Diagnostics), and check to see if there are any security software callouts.  Like your firewall or an Antivirus program that may be preventing iTunes from accessing the Internet.

    Bad news: It sounds as if you were sold a jailbroken iPhone.
    Good news: File a SNAD with eBay. Make sure all your correspondence has been through eBay Messaging. The fact that the seller has been ignoring you will not sit well with them.
    You will get 100% of your money back, including shipping. Paypal will simply seize his funds and return what is yours.
    Lesson: Don't buy a used iPhone.
    It's much worse for the seller. His PayPal and eBay accounts will be frozen. Until he squares up with both you and eBay, he's out of money and out of business.

    There is something odd in this message.
    Even under Lion, Pages 08 is able to open Pages 08 documents created by Pages 09.
    I guess that the OP made a typo and that the docs were created as Pages 09 documents.
    In theory, the availability of iWork 08 on a machine is not supposed to disable the ability to buy Pages 09 thru the MAS because the iWork 08 registration scheme is not the same than the iWork 09 one.

  • How do you reset the security questions when you havent used a credit card to make any purchases, only the gift cards. Apple support will not help me even though i know my account and apple id and password?

    Have a new computer and now cannot access itunes without knowing the answers to the security questions. Apple support cannot reset as we have never used a credit card when purchasing prior, have only used gift cards. Can provide apple id and password and all other account details but still no help. Have we to open a new3 account and start again, this means losing a lot of credit on the existing account?!

    I have the same problem. I didn't set a rescue email for some reason. To find out weather you hav a rescue password: Go to appleid.apple.com, sign in, go to manage account and then password and security if you do there will be a link below telling you that you can send an email to it. If not the link won't be there. Hope this helps.
