I am in South Africa, I am unable to purchase music on iTunes because things are in dollars. How do I chance the currency to be in Rands (ZA) ?

I am seething and desperate. & I refuse to create a new account with all that mula on the line.

If you don't have a rescue email address, or you don't know what it is (you won't be able to add/view it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When I try to download the latest version of iTunes on my iPod Classic I get the message that "iTunes has an invalid signature" and that "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate. Anyone know how to fix this?

The download has been removed." I have also gotten an Internet Script Error stating that an error has occured in Line 0, Char O and that "Access is denied to images.apple.com/global/scripts/lib/iepngfix.htc." This problem has never occurred with earlier versions of ITunes. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Are you downloading iTunes form an Apple website or somewhere else? If the answer is somewhere else, try downloading it from Apple. Click on iTunes in the black menu bar above and go from there.
Let us know what happens.

App store on phone has switched to different region, how do I change it back?

Somehow when browsing the app store on my iPhone it's changed to US app store. My account is based in New Zealand and I can no longer download or update anything as it keeps telling me that I need to change the store to New Zealand but I don't know how!
If anyone can walk me through what I need to do to change this back to my default NZ app store that would be much appreciated.

Open the App Store... Scroll all the way to the bottom and Select "Apple ID: abcdef", then View my Apple ID, then log in, and make sure Country/Region is selected as appropriate and hit done.

If you are using Safari as a web browser :-
Open Safari, go to Safari menu > Preferences > General, and put Google as the homepage. Then, choose Google as your default search engine.
If you are using Google Chrome as the web browser :-
Open Google Chrome.
In the top right corner of the page, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu > Settings.
In the "Search" section, select Google from the drop-down menu.

Hubby's phone has switched itself off and won't switch back on. As far as we know it's fully charged, can't check as got a blank screen but does buzz when charger is plugged in. Has been left on charge for quite some time. As you will gather, I am sending this on his behalf.

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

Itunes has encountered a problem and has to close.

When I opened iTunes the first time today, I had no problem, but then I went to the store, then my computer froze, so I closed it.. And now I downloaded the update and whenever I try to open it a box pops up saying "iTunes has encountered a problem and must close.. " Or at least something like that.

Yup, I've got the same problem although it's installed but now it just won't open and says it has a problem and has to close instantly the second you click a shortcut.

make sure you follow the instructions precisely. if for any reason you can't complete the cleanup instructions, post back to describe the problem.
if your itunes still isn't launching after you try that, we'd better check to see if you've got a rare registry problem that can also produce the same error message.
we diagnose that by creating a new user account (with full administrative privileges). you can do that in your "user accounts" control panel. there's help documentation on it to the left of the screen. while you're in there, also switch off "fast user switching" in your logging-on preferences.
now log on to the new user account. can you successfully launch itunes from inside there?

When I click on my Itunes icon a big box pops up and says Itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience. And says tell microsoft about the problem, you know. And I've been trying to access the program for three days and it's doing the same thing, I got a trojan horse right before it started doing it, but I've gotten rid of it and scanned many times, it's gone. I also uninstalled and reinstalled both Itunes and quicktime but it still doesen't work, I really need ideas here..lol.

Please help me someone. I bought this Ipod 2 weeks ago for my daughters 18th and all we get is this stupid error message all the time. "Itunes have to close - error report etc etc." Have re-installed some many times I have lost count. Know very little about computers so need really simple instructions. I am really not impressed with this if any Apple technicans are reading this and want my money back!!!!

Hi guys,
I'm a huge Apple fan so I obviously decided to upgrade to Apple 7.0.1 the day it came out... installed it. Opened it up, but within just a few seconds i got a Windows message saying
"iTunes has encountered an error and needs to close"
I reinstalled it and still have the same problem.
First few days I could atleast keep iTunes open for a few minutes before the message, but now its down to just a few seconds.
I run Windows XP if that helps any.
Please help me fix this problem or tell me how I can put iTunes 6 back on my computer --- I need my music!

After downloading and installing 7.0.1 my iTunes would not open either. Even worse is you can't go back to v6 if you had v7 running--the database is updated.
Luckily I was able to get my iTunes to open again by doing the following:
Click Start/Run
Type in "%userprofile%\application data\apple computer"
Right click on the iTunes folder and rename it to iTunes.bak.
Close the window.
Click Start/Run again.
Type in "%userprofile%\local settings\application data\apple computer"
Right click on the iTunes folder and rename it to iTunes.bak.
Close the window.
Try opening your iTunes again. It may re-ask some general setup questions, but mine opened without the error, and it still had all my music. However, I did have to re-authorize my computer.
I used to never be leary about updating iTunes... guess Apple's software ain't no peach, either.
