I wanna change my payment type to None, but it the system refuse. Help me, I can not download anything

I (my teen) do not have a credit card. I want to download free apps and use gift cards to purchase music.

Did you follow, exactly, the instructions on the HT2534 page when creating the account ? I've just tried it on my Mac's iTunes and the instructions still work e.g. find a free app in the store, click on its free 'price' button, and on the popup click on 'create apple id' - when you get to the payment details screen you should see the 'none' option.

In my payment type screen, "NONE" option is not available.... I have only three types, "1.VISA, 2.Master Card, 3. AMEX".... I dnt want to register with my credit card detail.... I want use only free applications..... Can any one help me in this.....?

Follow the article:
You must first sign out from existing account.
Settings > Store > Apple ID :youroldID > Sign Out
Then go to App Store to buy a Free App.
From popup window. select Create New AppleID
Indicate Store location and provide necessary information
None option will then be available

I've just tried it and it shows 'none' as an option for me. You are creating a new account and have followed the instructions exactly e.g. you've selected a free app in the store and clicked on 'create Apple ID' when 'buying' it ?

Just to confirm we're having the same problem: I'm using a 4th generation iPod touch and I'm using the Nike+ iPod app to link to the Nike+ Sensor that goes in the insert in the shoe.
After I finish a workout, I click "Send to Nike+" which switches to Safari and loads nikeplus.com. I log in and... it doesn't seem to do anything else... Nothing shows up on nikeplus.com.
Has this pretty much been your experience as well?

however I want to download the free game MAGIC POTIONS -
The indo says click on FREE as payment type ;
I have tried using both New Zealand and also US as my country - but I can still not get that option to appear -
Thousands of kids have i-pod touch's ..... how do they get FREE games/payment option ?

what sagarpachorkar stated was wrong it will ask for payment option if you already have an apple id and which is not setup for app store.
you will have to create a new apple id
go to apps tab in itunes and download any free app then it will ask u for an apple id and password you have to click "create a new apple id" then follow the instructions on screen and put in the new email address and a password(password should be atleast of 8 characters and should contain a number and a upper case letter)
now you will see the none option for payment.
you will need a new apple id.

You have to enter your credit card number and some amount would be debited from your account(60 rs in india)
After registration, You can Go to
1 Settings
2.Itunes&App Store
3.Click on your apple id .
4.Select View Apple ID
5.Slecet Payment Info
And You can find NONE here.
Please select NONE to delete your credit card numbe r from the list
But While registering you cant find NONE, you have to enter the cc number.

This is how I solved my problem - the same to your problem!
1- Pretend to down a free apps from iTunes Store
2- You will be asked for "ID", type in your existing ID and see if None Payment Type is visible
3- Click, fill in information and continue and finish
If not, repeat step 1 above
2- Create new ID (make sure you have new email also)
3- None payment type will be surely visible
4. Click, fill in information and continue and finish

I believe your steps were wrong.
Follow instruction from the article:
First sign-out of any existing account on the iTunes (Itunes menu STORE, SIGN-OUT)
Go to iTunes Store, then "Apps Store" tab.
Select and buy a free App and you will get a popup window asking you to either log-in or create Apple ID. This is when you will create your ID by clicking the "create Apple ID" button.
Provide necessary information eventually will lead you to a payment method page where NONE option is available.

What country are you in ? I tried it a couple of days ago and it allowed me to create a new account with 'none' as the payment type. Depending on how you created your account, "None" may or may not be an option. I believe it has something to do with whether the account was made through an App Store request or the regular iTunes Store. For example, my account allows no card but my father's doesn't allow there to be no card.
To change the card, go to your account settings and change the information to your new card, and hit save.
