The None option does not always appear for everyone, everywhere with an already existing Apple ID. The None option is always available when you create a new Apple ID and follow Apple's instructions;

NO option for no card in the credit card page.. The no credit card option doesn't exist.. can't operate device unless I give the apple commies a credit card.. Guess I'll go buy a $5 green dot at walmart and spend it on something ABSOLUTLY NOT crapple apple just so I can download one free app to this horrible clunky Iphone 4 brick of annoying so I can use it as a simple wifi phone..
PRO TIP apple.. I didn't have to give a credit card info so I could use my Android.. this is such headache to do a simple task.. and why do I get a prompt to put in my password every 2 screens.. it can't even remember that I ticked the check in REMEMBER MY INFO box.. lame apple glad I roll something else less bulky and cavemanish.. I know it won't get fixed..been here done this..If you want free apps without providing a credit card, just follow the steps in the article exactly, creating a new Apple ID in the process. You cannot use an existing Apple ID. As to the password issue, given how many people complain that they purchased something when they didn't mean to, or their kids bought something without authorization, it's no surprise that Apple requires verification relatively often.
I don't understand your whine about having to buy an app to use the iPhone. There are no app purchases required. Many people go quite happily using just the apps included with the iPhone without every buying anything extra. So I don't get your point.
Otherwise, we're all basically just fellow users here and really don't care what you buy or don't buy. If you believe some other device and service will suit you better, by all means to buy that product.

i try to help my friend who is new to iphone and he also doesnt have a credit card. and there's no NONE option in Credit selection page.
Did you follow the instructions on that page for creating an account i.e. selecting a free app ?

The remote app will distinguish between the two Apple TV's, you won't need to pair it, it will only control one Apple TV at once.

Hello! I have configured my Wireless network to support bonjour protocol. When I support mDNS in the same Vlan I can see the Apple TV with my iPhone, but I cannot see it with my iPad. Someone know if there is any different in the Bonjour protocol between the iPhone and the iPad???

I am currently using an ipod touch 3. When i record in voice memos with the apple earphones(with an inbuilt mic) i can see on the screen that its recording;
but when i hear it, its just a long beep. Need some help!Does the mic work for other apps like Voice Control?

Did you upgrade to a new MacOS X version? Then you need to update iPhoto as well.
Only iPhoto 9.6 is compatible with MacOS X 10.10 Yosemite. Update from the Mac App Store.
Backup your iPhoto library, if you do not have a current backup.
Launch the App Store, click the "Store" menu, and sign in with your current AppleID.
Check the "Updates" tab of the App Store for an iPhoto update and run the update.
When you laugh iPhoto after the update, it will warn you, that the library needs upgrading, That may take a while.
Just in case that you see a warning, that the update is not possible because of an error message: "This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."
Uninstall iPhoto by deleting it from the Applications folder, but do not empty the Trash, so you can put iPhoto back, if need be.
Launch the App Store, click the "Store" menu, and sign in with your current AppleID.
Open the main page "Featured" of the App Store and search for iPhoto.
If iPhoto is listed as "Free", click the "Free" button to buy it with your current AppleID.

Your Apple TV may have become paired with another remote. Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on screen. -

My mac book pro on start up shows a white screen with a folder with a question mark in it then switches to the apple symbol with the loading bar under it but it freezes about half way. Only started to have problems since upgrading to yosemite any ideas.
I do hope you have recent backup, because it look like your hard disk is failing. You can start up in Recovery Mode, and run Disk Utility to see if the disk can be fixed: OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support

After the error occured, my phone was stuck on the apple logo with the loading bar below it. I cannot restart it because my power button is broken, and it will not be recognized on my iTunes. Any help how i can get my phone off or back to working again?! HELP PLEASE!!!

Itunes was updating my phone from 6.01 to 6.1 and it came up with an error. I closed the error not thinking about it and now my phone is locked up on the apple screen with the progress bar on it.

My macbook air wont go past the apple screen with the loading circle.
My Macbook air (Early 2008 edition) Boots up fine, but it stays on the apple screen with the loading circle for a few minutes and then shuts down. I did the Command+v and it always stops at the same spot with:
disk0s2: I/0 error.

I have already tried pretty much all the commands while booting up possible, and to no avail.
Please help.Sorry for delay been super busy at work - have you tried to boot to your operating sytem disc - by inserting the disc - then power down the unit - then power it up again while holding down the C key until you see the gear start spinning. Once it comes up - go to utilities at the top of the screen - then disc utility - then selcet your hard drive in the left hand pane and then on the right hand pane select first aid and click verify disk in the lower right hand corner - your hard drive may be failing and this test will let you know if that is the case. If so you need to backup your hard drive - replace it and put your data back on the newly placed drive. - please let me know how the verify disc goes
