I have a pair of 3Tb disks that will not form a raid pair.

how are the discs connected - internal /external /Firewire /ESATA ?
are the discs working correctly, so can the discs be formated individually as Mac OS and repaired with disc utility?

I'm wondering if the reason Dreamweaver handles my files so
slowly is because of the size of the site - over 11,000 files. When
I switch sites to this one, it has to rebuild the cache every time,
which is time-consuming. Also, frequently, I am unable to save a
file, open a new file, or scroll through the file list without a
many-minutes-long hour-glass indicating that "something" is going
on.

There isn't an absolute limit, but at some point the waiting
becomes the
limit.
There are choices in the Site Definition to not maintain a
site cache, and
to not refresh the file listing. Those would help in
preventing waits while
doing quick edits, but will hurt when trying to do any
sitewide thing like
find and replace.

Doesn't fix the problem but ameliorates it. Can cut down on
the waiting. If
you can sort the files in the Dw files panel to less than a
thou a folder.
Or better less than couple hundred. Arbitrary choice of
splitting by first
character of file name would pop them into 26 letter folders
and 10 number
folders. Note- if you try this, back up the local site folder
first. Then be
ready to wait for hours while dw changes links in the 11 thou
files.

database and away
from static pages?
11,000 static html pages are not manageable with any tool i
know of.

Is there an upper limit to the number of emails "Send With Document" will send to at one time?

I am using LiveCycle ES3 10.0.2 SP1 and Worbench/ADEP 10.0.0.0.20110711.1.291006.
I have selected “Send With Document” for my Service Operation from the Service Name “EmailService” from the Category “Foundation”.
It works correctly to send to a few emails in the email string, but stalls on the full list of almost 700 emails. My string length is unlimited. Is there a threshold for the number of emails that it can send to at one time?

Please use the correct version of the WorkBench which is compatible with your LiveCycle ES3 server.There should not be any limit as long as the email service is up. You should refer to the server log file to check exactly what error is being encountered.

The answers would be the following:
1200 cells per custom section (NEW COUNT), and up to 30 custom sections per spec.
Assuming all will be populated, and this would apply to all final material specs in the system which could be ~25% of all material specs.
The cells will be numeric, free text, drop downs, and some calculated numeric.
Are we reaching the limits for UI performance?

I get this message when I try to connect to an oracle lite database.

There is diskspace enough, and I know the database limit is 4Gb. The database I want to connect to has this size.
I want to connect to the database to cleanup / inspect the database because of the size problems. But I can't connect to the database.
Is there an other way to connect to the database ?

It seems you have gone to great lengths to improve accessibility in many areas of the iPad. Why was this obvious problem with icon text size missed? (It's not with the Mac.). And for so long too.
Do you employ people with actual accessibility problems to help you do UI design?
I think too, that some buttons are too close for people who might have motor control problems.
I love my iPad but I fear as I age, the iPad might not keep up with me.

A number of posts have reported the same issue, two workarounds:

check the paper handling options or equivalent in your print dialogue box and set to scale to fit
2
in the Keynote option, in the dropdown menu in the Print section, select Individual Slides
then choose Layout, and set the number of pages, when printed you will have multiple pages on a single sheet.

Is there any way to change the font size of the text in the Finder Sidebar?

This may sound like a bit of a dorky question but here goes nothing...
I am rather near-sighted and in need of new glasses but I am stuck in a holding pattern until I can get a referral to see my eye doctor. Anyway... I have found myself using the Zoom features far more often and increasing the font size in the Finder for the Item Names & Info.
The problem that I am facing now, is that the font size of the text in the sidebar is FAR SMALLER than the font size of the text of the actual file names & info.
+*IS THERE ANY WAY TO INCREASE THE FONT SIZE OF THE TEXT IN THE SIDEBAR??*+
So far I have looked in:
*The Finder Preferences
*The Desktop Preference Pane
*The Appearance Preference Pane

And to add to my frustration I have also searched the Mac OS X Help AND all of the posts in this thread (back to 1/1/09) that had the word "sidebar" mentioned in them!!

Usually, Apple is really very good about foreseeing any possible trouble (ESPECIALLY when it comes to the area of Accessibility for people w/ disabilities!!)
I do hope that SOMEBODY can help me on this one!!
Also, I noticed that the size of the text that is on the Toolbar is also the same ITSY BITSY font size as the text on the sidebar, but I am guessing that there is next to nothing that can be done about that!!

In short, no. There is no fix yet. They only barely acknowledge there is a problem. The "fix" is to enable 200% UI scaling which makes everything comically huge and unusable. This is pretty much of a joke. A really, really EXPENSIVE joke.

That's between you and your internet service provider. By the way, you posted to the 10.3 forum. 10.3 can't run on your MacBook Pro. Don't forget the following facts:
b= bit
B = Byte
8 bits in a byte
A typical DSL connection has 1 Mbps speed or 128 kBps speed.
At that speed
1 minute gives you 7.5 MB
10 minutes gives you 75 MB
100 minutes gives you 750 MB
A typical cable connection can be 5 times faster although some are 30 times faster.
A typical fiber connection is 15 times faster and some are 50 times faster.
Ask what your speed is rated at.

If you right click on the image on the page in the context menu select photo box alignment and then select one of scale to fit {centered, Left-aligned, Right-aligned}
That should do what you are loking for.
