HT2589 Problems accessing the App Store
I'm able to sign in with Itunes but not the App store. Why will one accept my ID and password, but not the other? This is annoying and troublesome. Thank you.
You might try this;
1. Got to Sys Prefs/Network
2. Eliminate all of the Network resources by highlighting them and clicking the - symbol at the bottom (be sure to note the configuration before eliminating them)
3. Restart your Mac. Restore the Network resources by clicking the + symbol to add each one and then reconfigure
4. Try the MAS again.
If that doesn't help, I would consider downloading and reinstalling 10.7.5 over the existing 10.7.5 and hope that it corrects what may be missing or corrupted;

Force close the App Store app and reset the iPad. No data will be lost when you reset the device.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
The phone has been restored from settings from an old iPod Touch. The Apple ID username there worked well then, but I have since updated that. The email is no longer useable (university) and the passwords I have tried do not work - nor should they since I have updated my Apple account. Again, it's only when I try to access the App Store on my iPhone does this Apple ID problem surface. Please help! Thanks.

I am not able to access the App Store on my Iphone 3GS with IOS 6.01, however i can access the same on my laptop when i connect my phone to my PC. Any suggestions on this.

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5209 might help you. An iPhone 4 can airplay content from apps that support airplay and iTunes but it cannot mirror. If your game does not have airplay in the app you cannot mirror it to the apple TV so I don't know if you can play just the music. You should have no problem playing your iTunes over airplay though.

Could be you are not connecting to the internet via wifi.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Like so many others, after updating to OS6 and changing my iCloud password, none of my devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, iMac etc) could connect to the tunes store, the error message was something "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again." However, there was nothing wrong with my internet connection - programs like Safari & Mail worked just fine.
After trawling through the discussions and trying the recommendations (change time/date, activate location services, reset network settings etc) I just became more frustrated.
I figured that if iTunes thought my network connection was the problem, maybe I should try tricking it and, after much trial, error and frustration, I did find a solution - and it may work for you...
I turned off WiFi on my iPhone, then connected to my telco's 3G network, then connected to the iTunes store and it worked fine. Then I switched back to WiFi and all is good. Did the same for the iPad. For the MacBook and iMac I turned off WiFi then tethered the iPhone on the 3G network to the computer, then connected to iTunes Store, then went back to WiFi. For some reason that I don't understand, this all went as planned and now everything works.
Anyway, I thought I should contribute to the community by letting you know the solution I found. Of course, this may not necessarily work for you, but it's worth a shot. -
I can't access the App Store app. When I tap the Icon, a large Delta airlines app is superimposed over the top of everything and freezes up the entire App Store. how can delete this large app and where did it come from.
Quit the App Store app and reset your iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
Certain apps "reset" to waiting after accessing the App Store
I accessed the App Store from my phone and now there are a group of apps that have sort of "reset" and pull out of how I have organized them, show greyed out and say waiting with a progress bar. This doesn't go away. How do I fix this?

It seems a second complication is that I am currently resident in Norway with a UK credit card registered in the UK App Store. It seems the UK App Store refuses to accept the billing address post code (zip code) for my credit card as it is not a recognized UK code. This was not a problem before the upgrade to iOS 7. Both my old iPad and iPad mini worked fine before and I have a couple of hundred apps on them. Now neither will allow me to download new apps, though I am able to update current ones. I have also recently purchased a new iPad and I find it won't display already purchased apps. However, I can download many of my already purchased apps directly from the App Store, but by no means everyone. And I am unable to download any Apps not previously purchased.
I don't want to change to the Norwegian store, both because of the incompatibility of apps in different countries and for linguistic reasons, not to mention the need to change them again in a couple of years time. Is there a simple way to get around this computer inflexibility? would be grateful for all good suggestions! -

Have you synced apps from that computer/iTunes library? You can only sync apps from your one syncing computer. -

I installed the Genius for Apps on my new IPhone 5 and I can no longer access the App Store and when I tap App Store I just get a white screen with the heading Genius for Apps with a white screen and no active keys.
You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -
Why can't i access the app store with snow leopard
I just installed Snow Leopard on my girlfriend's Macbook 5,1 in hopes of updating it to Mountain Lion. I'm unable to use her Apple ID, nor mine, to access the App Store to upgrade. I've scowered search engines to find a fix, but to no avail. Anybody have any ideas as to how to resolve this issue?

Or restart the device by holding power button until red slider appears. Slide it. After the iphone turns off. Hold the power button to turn it backon. Then try the solution above. -
I am not able to access the "Settings" on my iPad 3. I just get a gray screen for about 30 seconds and then the app shuts down. I am also unable to access the App store, iTunes, or any app requiring an internet connection. Any thoughts?
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -
Connection failed whenever I try to access the App Store
Whenever I try to access the App Store from my iMac, after a second or two I just get 'Connection failed.'
It isn't my password or login as I am able to access this perfectly from my iPad and iPhone.
What I have tried:
Different connections (ethernet/wireless)
Connecting to iTunes first (this works fine), then going into the App Store and trying it again
Deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist, ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.storeagent.plist, ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
pretty much everything on "connection failed" mac app store
I am using Mavericks 10.9 if that is any help.

In the console app I had a look at some of the messages I am getting when I try to access the app store. I get 20-odd lines of:

Anyone know what this means? Obviously I am being denied access to something! I have only had this Mac for a few days and don't profess to be that knowledgable about them at all so any info is appreciated.

Have you tried signing out of your iTunes & App Store on your device and then back in again - Settings>iTunes & App Store, click on Apple ID, then on Sign Out. Then sign in again and see if it accepts the password.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, try resetting your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset is complete, the Slide to Unlock screen will display. See if the problem is resolved.
