Hi, My name is Bheki Yende
I'm experiencing a problem with an app I've just purchased from iTunes, I have tried every piece of advice from the "iOS: Troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store" and still nothing is working. I would like to get my refund on this pls.
This is an inconvenience, I don't understand why I have to contact the developer for a faulty product in your store.
I've paid iTunes to get this, so iTunes must fix this problem for me or give my money back.
    Thanks

  • How can I get a refund for an application purchased at the App Store?

I purchased an application (Quicken 2015) at the App Store, but it doesn't do what I need.  The vendor (Intuit) says it has a 60 day guarantee, but I need to go back to the vendor (the App Store in this case) to get a refund.  But I can't find any way to do that.

Go to the Mac App Store main page, choose Support under Quick Links, and contact Apple.

My MacBook Pro came with Lion pre-installed so I can't re-download it from the app store. Is it possible to get the installESD.dmg file and how can I get it if I can't re-download Lion in Apple Store option?

FYI Mac OS X is not designed to be installed on additional Macs, unless you purchased it from the App Store, in which case you can make as many copies as you wish and install it on as many Macs as you own.
From the Recovery Disk Assistant -
    Notes
If the computer shipped with OS X Lion or Mountain Lion, the external recovery drive may only be used with the system that created it.
If the system was upgraded to Lion or Mountain Lion purchased from the App Store, the external recovery drive can be used with other similarly-upgraded systems.

  • TS1702 I downloaded from the Apps.store a game named 'Ninja Run'. When I was playing this game, I got out and then received a message,'"Do you want to buy 5 revivals for Rs.170/-?". When I clicked the "Buy"

I downloaded from the Apps.store a game named,"Ninja Run". When I was plkaying the game, I got out and a message appeared, asking me whether I would like to buy 5 revivals for Rs.170/-. When I hit the,"Buy"button, I was asked to confirm my Credit card details. I confirmed it and was asked to enter the Security Code. When I did so,, a message appeared telling me that the Security Code was invalid and the purchase could not be completed. When I continued the game and got out again, the message appeared again asking me whether I wanted to buy. Thinking that my purchase was not completed, I again hit the,"Buy" button. Nothing happened. I continued the game and when I got out, I received the same message and obliged accordingly. This went on for three or more times. By this time, however I got confused and quit the game. All these things happened on 6th September 2013. The next day,I was shocked to see 5 receipts from the Apple Apps.store in the In Box of my email account, each for Rs.170/-
totalling Rs850/. Worse still, when I played the game the next day and got out and asked for a revival, would you believe it, I was again asked whether I would like to buy 5 revivals for Rs.170/-.
Thus,I ended up buying a game for Rs.850/- while the actual price is only Rs.170/-,and not even able to play the full game.
Could anyone please tell me whether I can get a refund of Rs.680/-,the extra amount I  paid for this game.
I will be much thankful to anyone who can guide me and help me claim the refund. Thank everyone.

I purchased an application from the app store and the app is not working,How do I get  a refund ?

First, contact the developer of the app and ask for assistance. Then if you cannot get the problem resolved, go to the following link, explain the reason for your request, including that the developer was unable to solve the problem, and ask:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html
Though a refund is not guaranteed, it's possible they'll make an exception for you.
    Good luck.

  • HT1689 How can I get a refund on a purchased app from the App Store?

I purchased an app from the App Store and did not get an email receipt.  After opening the app, I found it didn't do what I thought it was designed to do.  I can't seem to find out how to get a refund from my recent purchase.  Any help would be appreciated.

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

  • How do I get a refund from the app store?

I bought GarageBand from the app store and have tried loading it on my two mac computers one at home one at work. The home one will not download it at all - it keeps getting so far and then (helpfully) saying 'an error has occurred'. At work, it download the application but now it's saying it needs to download 1.6GB of extra data. This will not work. It keeps getting about half way and then failing (I've have tried maybe 10 times)
I'm not interested in trying any more - I don't have time and I'm disillusioned with the store. How do I simply get a refund (seeing as it doesn't work)?

  • How can I get a refund from the app store?

    Hi,
I bought an game from the app store for 4.99. The description was written to be completely misleading and misrepresentative of the product (BADASS DUCATI: Street Monster).
I notice the same developer has a number of apps. on the store following the same format. Also there are more under a different developer name.
I emailed apple for a refund. No response (disappointing). I emailed the developer. No response (no surprise). Surely apple must have some responsibility to ensure that apps are correctly represented in their store and, by taking a commission on the transaction, should take some ownership of the contract of sale?
Any suggestions how to get a refund? how to report these bogus apps so that apple can clean the shelves of rogue developers?
Regardless of the success of a refund,  to see the apps get pulled and the developer banned would at least demonstrate that apple care about their consumers and are not supporting the app store as a platform for conmen.

    There are no refunds.  Sorry.

  • Mavericks will not download from the App store. Repeatedly receive a message that "an error has occurred. Try again"

I have repeatedly tried to download Mavericks from the App store. When attempted from the update tab it fails and instructs me to try again from the Purchases tab. When I try it there, I receive an error message that "an error has occurred" and to try again. I have successfully downloaded other apps (both Apple and third party) but Mavericks won't do it.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

I am not sure what you mean by "Flash Player for steam"; the only Flash Player installers I know is the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer) and the plugin (for other browsers); you can find both at http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player- windows.html#main-pars_header

  • Getting a refund from the App store...

I need to compliment Apple on something.
I had problems with an application that I downloaded from the App store that was iWeb related. Couldn't get it to work, and when I followed the developers instructions, it still wouldn't work in Lion. It was brand new and I think they were still working on it.
I then, played around with the instructions and the domainsites file, as I thought I was expert enough not to screw things up.
Well, as I reconstruct my site, muttering to myself that I really should pay attention to that inner voice that warns me off tinkering with the inner workings of software, at least I don't have to worry about getting my money back.
Apple, quite reasonably, has refunded me and has contacted the developers regarding the problem.
The lesson to me was that if I ever again download anything that will change a domainsites file, I must, must make a copy, and put that copy in a folder far away from the original.
Having downloaded iWeb templates before without a problem, I figured it wouldn't be a problem this time.
Always, before downloaded a new template or whatever, make a current copy of your domainsites file and hide it away. That is my new rule for myself.
    Hugh

So true...if one can't afford to lose it one has to learn to back up one's system.
My problem is that I have only a couple of things on my iMac that are really critical, and I just copy them to an external HD, and trust to the fates for the rest.
But I forgot to do that for the domainsites file.
For the record, you are totally right...if one uses Time Machine for backup to a firewire drive, one can relax, mostly.
    Hugh

I have downloaded facetime from the App store and I keep receiving this message - An internal FaceTime error occurred.  There was a problem with FaceTime. You need to quit and open FaceTime again.  Please help!

This error message could result from an incorrect setting for date and time, or an operating system which does not have the latest updates installed.  It's a good idea to have your location setting on automatic.  Turn on the wi fi in your mac for a minute or so, to allow it to automatically search for your present location.  Do this even though you have the correct time Date settings displayed.
