HT2729 I can's synch TV shows from itunes to ipad.

Error showing is that this computer is not authorised but it is. So i deauthorised and reauthorised but they still wont transfer. i purchased the tv shows directly from the ipad:

yes i have all of them (except PC one as i am on Mac). Thing is i can download them again from itunes, which i am currently doing, straight to my ipad and still play them on my iMac. Once downloaded i can transfer them again as Transfer Purchases but if i delete them from ipad and then synch or drag across (manually) this error occurs.
thanks again

I can't sync tv shows from iTunes to my iPod Touch (4th gen).  I can't purchase tv shows on the iPod, either.  Anyone know what the problem is?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
Are you sure your computer is authorized for this? This is probably your issue.
If you go to the "Advanced" tab on the top in iTunes, is there a "Deauthorize computer..." button or an "Authorize computer..." button? If there's an "authorize computer" link, then that is your issue. Authorize your computer, and you should be able to transfer iTMS purchased songs from iTunes to iPod.
For details, see this Apple article:
    About iTMS authorization and deauthorization
    I hope this helps you,

  • Can't import TV show from Itunes to 4th gen nano-running OSX 10.5 with Imac

This message has also been posted to the general use forum of the 4th gen nano forum.
Bought my daughter a 4th gen nano for Christmas. Also purchased a TV show from Itunes some time back.
This TV show has been in Itunes for months, and is on my 5th gen Ipod and plays fine, but will not import to the 4th gen nano.
Here is what I have done so far:
1.Plugged the nano into the computer, highlighted nano, clicked TV show tab, clicked the TV show we wanted to sync, then clicked the sync button.
2.I downloaded a sample movie into Itunes from the apple support site, and it won't import into the nano.
3.After researching, I downloaded and reinstalled Itunes and Quicktime both.
    Nothing seems to be working.
Funny thing is, there was one music video that imported from Itunes to the nan when I first registered and set it up, and it plays fine.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks.

My 13 yr. old daughter solved this problem, and successfully imported the TV show to her Ipod.
She tells me she has no idea how she did it, she just did it.
So, although I guess my problem is solved, I'd still love to know what the answer is.

  • I can't play downloaded shows from iTunes in QuickTime.

I've downloaded Quicktime, installed it. And it wouldn't play my shows from iTunes. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled and still wont play, keeps saying "The movie requires Quicktime, which is not included in this version of iTunes. To play this movie, install QuickTime".... :/ I have a Windows 7 Dell laptop.

    Hello ifeoluwaloju,
The article below details how to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and it's related components. Doing so should help resolve this message.

  • Cannot synch mp4 videos from itunes to iPad with current verion of iOS 6

mp4 videos will not transfer from itunes to ipad 3 with the latest iOS6.

UPDATE:  I backed up my phone, wiped it (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings), & then restored it through iTunes.  For whatever reason, that seems to have fixed the problem.  Movies now sync to my phone like they used to.
That process seems to have corrected 1 or 2 other minor issues, including one where iTunes was 'syncing artwork' for a long time on every sync.

  • Can't see movie downloaded from iTunes on iPads

Hi. I purchased two movies from iTunes via AppleTV, then downloaded them to my iTunes library. I can see and play them on my computer, but they don't show up in the "shared" tab of the Videos app on either of our two iPads. I've tried force-quitting and restarting the Videos app, turning the iPad on and off, and resetting the iPad; I've quit and restarted iTunes on the computer. Nothing has helped.
All the other movies in the library appear, including others I've purchased and downloaded from iTunes, but not the ones I downloaded today.
    Running OS X 10.8.1, iTunes 10.6.3, and iOS 5.1.1.
    Help?
    Thans.

Ah. iPad 2 can't play 1080p content. Got it. Sorry for the noise.

  • Can't see purchased movies from itunes on iPad

I can't see the movies I purchased on my iPad. I sync them from itunes. They are on the ipad based on the hard drive space used. But when I tap the ipod icon, I can't see movies or video on the bottom of screen or on the left hand side that would point to the movies.
    Any help?

+If you did download them to your iPad, restart your iPad or try a hard reset.+
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button at the top of the iPad until the red slider appears, then slide to the right to power off the iPad. Turn the iPad on again by pressing the sleep button until the Apple logo appears. Once the iPad has fully rebooted, find your app, and tap the icon to relaunch.
Try a hard reset by pressing and holding down on the sleep button at the top of the iPad while holding down on the home button at the bottom, until the Apple logo appears and the iPad restarts. Launch the Videos again and see If the movies are showing.
+If they were downloaded to your computer in iTunes, then do as Philly suggests, sync your iPad to your computer.+
Connect your iPad to the computer, launch iTunes, select your device on the left side in iTunes, click on movies at the top of iTunes, click sync movies, click on the movies that you want to put on the iPad, click apply in the lower right corner in iTunes, then click sync. That will put the movies on your iPad. Open the Videos app and you are good to go.

  • Auto download TV shows from itunes to ipad?

    Hello,
Is there anyway I can set my IPad to auto download / receive the TV shows I have downloading. They auto download from iTunes on my mac in iTunes when they are available..  let me know if anyone can help me

I'm not aware that you can with the iPad - you can do so with music, apps, and ibooks (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4539), but I don't think that you currently can with TV shows or films.

  • HT1206 Can't see tv show from iTunes

I downloaded a tv show on my pc using iTunes.  It will not display on my ipad1.  Had the same problem with the music but finally found a More tab under music that turned on syncing to the iPad.  Haven't found any like that for ate show.  Any ideas?

Found it!!!  In the purchased or download tab it kept saying all all my music was there. Then I finally noticed in the upper left corner was a tab labeled as Music.  I clicked on that and got more choices, including tv shows.  Once I clicked on that, my show showed up.  It has taken days to figure this out.  Before the iCloud, I did not have these problems, what a pain.

  • Can't get tv shows from itunes on my ipod

    PLEASE HELP!
I have iTunes 7, and I have a lot of episodes of The Office on it. When I plug in my video ipod, only a few episodes are loaded on, not all of them. Does anybody know what I should do to get all my episodes on my ipod?

Connect your iPod, then when the summary screen appears click on the TV shows tab.
You may have set your iPod to sync only unwatched episodes.
Change the preference to what suits you best.

  • Can't copy borrowed movie from iTunes to iPad mini, because it's said that it is almost copied to another device, which is not true. Any solution?

I just borrowed a movie on iTunes a few days ago. Now I would like to copy that to my iPad mini, via iTunes. After a minute copying, it stops and it's said, that the movie could not be copied, because it is almost copied to another computer or device.
Can anybody help me with the problem?
    Thanks!

For borrowed do you mean rented? The exact error message helps others to help you.
Rented movies can only be on one device or computer at a time, expire if not watched within 30 days and once you begin watching expire within 24 hours (US) or 48 hours elsewhere. See HT1657 - iTunes Store: Movie rental frequently asked questions (FAQ). If there has been a problem transferring the content then you might want to use the report a problem links in your account history to contact the iTunes Store support team.
