HT2729 Sometimes when I am watching videos on my ipad2, it pauses and I have to push play again and again to continue. Do I have an incorrect setting?

Sometimes when I am watching videos on my Ipad2, it pauses and I have to continuously play again and again. Is there a problem with one of my settings?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Have you failed to do this?
If so, not good, you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to your computer.  File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You can also redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:

I sometimes have blue and red square-shaped dots appear on my MBP; especially but not exclusively when I'm watching videos.  The dots don't stay in the same place; and also they are not there all the time.  Also, sometimes my animations (applications opening, windows being dragged, etc.) will glitch as well.  Again, this is not a continual thing; it just happens variously throughout my day.  MBP Model A1212, OS X 10.6.8, 2.33 Ghz 3GB RAM.

Did the original songs that do not appear on the car player play in the Music app on the iPod? Sometimes glitches happen and they do not. Also, If y ohave a 5G iPod/iOS 7, purchase songs  will show with an cloud icon by them if they are not downloaded if Shall All is turned on in Settings>iTunes and App Store

• My Mac keeps crashing (whole system) when I'm watching videos with Firefox, any idea why?

Ok so I got a new mac and as usual install firefox which is my favorite browser, suddenly my computer started crashing, not just firefox the whole system froze and I had to reboot to make it work again, I didn't know what was happening until I noticed that said crashes happen when I was watching videos on firefox, I tried to use chrome and the issue was gone. Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in your Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).
To disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player:
#Go to this Adobe Flash Player Help page.
#Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.
#Click on Settings in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
# Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel. <br/> <br/> <br/>
# Remove the check mark from Enable hardware acceleration.
# Click Close to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
# Restart Firefox.
This Flash Player Help - Display Settings page has more information on Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you're interested.
Does this solve the problem? Let us know.
If this does not fix the issue, you may need to reinstall Adobe Flash Player on your computer.

When trying to watch videos on various websites including YouTube, the video screen is completely green. I can hear the audio, but no visual. This does not happen with every video, but it is fairly common for me. When I try to watch the same videos with Internet Explorer they work fine. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

If your temps are back to normal then the only thing that I would do is to completely uninstall the Avast software. See Thomas Reed's excellent Mac Malware Guide and pay particular attention to the "Do I need a/v software" section. 99% of the time, you don't and Mr. Reed only suggests the use of two av apps.

• YouTube videos stop and I have to press play time and again. Is there a fix?

When playing a YouTube video... It stops as if the pause was selected. I have to press play time and again to work my way through it. Is there a fix?

This is usually caused by an internet connection that is not fast enough to keep up with the playing of the video. Once the video reaches the end of what has been download, it pauses. You have to tap and then tap play to start it up again. Once it pauses it's best to wait until more video has been uploaded before tapping play again.

When I click on anything in the F/fox newsletter that takes me to Google Play, it shows it in French. I have a French ISP but my registered preference is for English. What do I do to have Google Play material appear in English ?
Thanks and regards

If you are logged in to your Google account, I would expect the page to use your preference set here:
https://www.google.com/settings/language
If you are not logged in, Google settings/preferences usually are retained using a cookie. I can't tell which cookie is relevant.
I noticed a language selector on the support page:
https://support.google.com/googleplay/?hl=en
Maybe setting that once will help?

• How to fix iPad that has a green screen and lags when you try watching videos

How do you fix your iPad when it has a green screen and it lags when you try to watch videos, such as from YouTube?
I tried to watch YouTube on Safari but it does not work, and the app version of YouTube does not work either. When the video is playing, it will start to turn green, and it will lag.
Please, I would really appreciate it if you can help me, because I really want to watch videos again.
Thank you very much!

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help it is most likely a hardware failure. Make an appointment at an apple store to have the device examined by a technician.

• PC freezes when trying to watch videos on internet

From september i couldn't watch any video on internet(youtube, facebook, and other websites) when using mozilla and everytime i play a video PC freezes,so i downloaded chrome and it worked fine, but few days ago PC started freezing again when watching videos online on chrome.(I'm sorry for grammar mistakes, english isn't my birth language, hope you understand)
I tried re-installing mozzila,re-installing flash player but that didn't work,please help me,what other solutions can i try?

Recent freezes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox are most probably caused by a recent Flash update and/or a malfunctioning browser plugin such as Real Player.
In order to remedy the problem, please perform the steps mentioned in these Knowledge Base articles:
* Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems
* Flash 11.3 crashes
* Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox
Other, more technical information about these issues can be found under these Links:

* http://blogs.adobe.com/asset/2012/06/inside-flash-player-protected-mode-for-firefox.html
Above are all must reads and could all likely fix the freezing problems.
Please tell us if this helped!

• In the newest firefox - when on youtube watching videos, I no longer see the streaming bar (lighter red) indicating the video has been downloaded. Any ideas why?

I have just upgraded to the latest firefox.
I have a problem streaming videos on youtube. Typically, when you stream a video on youtube, you can see on the "timebar", that the video is being downloaded shown in a lighter red, with the solid red the indicating which of the video you're already at.
However, in the latest version firefox, I longer see the streaming (lighter red) on the timebar, so I have no idea how much it has downloaded/streamed. I have updated my flash etc...but doesn't solve the problem. Can anybody help? Thanks!

There has been a change in where Firefox searches for plugins and the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder is no longer scanned for plugins, so Firefox won't find them anymore if they are installed in the plugins folder instead of the "browser\plugins" folder that Firefox now scans.
You can set the plugins.load_appdir_plugins pref to true on the about:config page to make Firefox scan the "<install>/plugins/" directory for plugins like the WMP plugin (np-mswmp.dll).
You can alternatively move plugins from "<install directory>\plugins\" to "<install directory>\browser\plugins\" (create this folder when missing) to make Firefox find them again.

• My iPad 2 ***** when I try watching video

I have a hard time watching Youtube and other video on my Ipad2 I am lucky if i can watch 10 seconds before it locks up even with wifi.  It doesnt spool as fast as it plays is there a fix for this issue.?

it'll only play as fast as your connection is usually. You can try starting your video, then pausing it and wait for it to buffer more so maybe it gets a good enough head start that you can't catch up with it.

• Hp pavilion g6 notebook pc. when i am watching videos my laptop hanged with hy pitch of noice.

its brand new i baught 3weeks b4 now its saying error "WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER CORRUPED" i dont know wat i will do.

Hi,
It may be worth trying to reset Windows Media Player as follows.
Click the Start Menu and select Control Panel.  Open Programs and Features, Click 'Turn Windows features on or off', open up Media Features and untick Windows Media Player.  Click Yes then OK and then restart the notebook.
When Windows has restarted, click the Start Menu and select Control Panel.  Open Programs and Features, Click 'Turn Windows features on or off', open up Media Features and tick Windows Media Player.  Click Yes then OK and when WMP has finished installing, restart the notebook again.
