HT2731 Apple ID in Canada but want to buy US apps. Can i create another ID?
I tried to create another US Apple ID and posted my YOB as 1955 and i was denied because it said i didnt meet the minimum age requirements. How OLD do you have to be?? All i wanted to do was download an app but the app isnt offered in the Canadian store. Can i create another Apple ID for purchases from the store where the app is offered??
You need to be in the US with a US billing address on your account to be able to buy from the US store. You can try requesting that the app be added to the Canadian store, but ultimately it's the app's developer that will have to grant Apple a license to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

apple id was originally disabled. I reset my password and can sign into my apple id account. But when i want to buy an app in the app store it says my apple id is disabled again.
It's real easy to create a new one and, in fact, it's too easy. I say that because multiple IDs are a PIA. The problem is that anything obtained from the iTunes Store is PERMANENTLY associated with the ID that was used to obtain the item(s). iTunes items can not be transferred from one ID to another and IDs can not be merged.
The problem arises when you want to update an app. If you're doing it from iTunes on your computer, you must log out and back in to get to the correct ID. Then you update and log out/in again to get back to where you started. It's slightly easier if you update from the iPad/iPod device as there is no need to log out/in BUT you still need the correct password for the appropriate ID. Of course, with a disabled ID, the problem is much worse!
A replacement Apple ID makes sense ONLY if you wish to start out absolutely brand new with zero iTunes Store purchases.
If you're really butting your head aginst a wall and you're reasonably close to an Apple Store, my suggestion is that you make an appointment with the resident "Genius" and get his/her help.
One last thought... If your brother actually got a human on the phone to dispute the charges, go there and explain the problem. Of course, if Apple did not accept his explanation of what occurred, that could be the whole issue. Apple believes that money is owed on the account! -

When it asks for another ID on an App Update, it means that the application was purchased under your sister's ID but downloaded to your device from the iTunes library that you share. Even though you both have your own Apple IDs, since you are syncing on the same computer, you are using the same iTunes library.
Whoever purchased the app is forever tied to it, and you can only have one version of a particular app in a single library....
Does that make sense?

If I clicked to purchase an app but inmediately hit cancel when it asked me if I wanted to buy the app, how come my apple ID credits was reduced from $5.41 to $2.21?
Is anything on your Purchase history? Open iTunes, go to iTunes Store > Account > View All (In the Purchase History section) Does it appear there?

I live in Spain but want to buy my books and watch movies in their original language. I can only seem to find awful dubbed films into Spanish in my version of iTunes. pLEASE tell me how I can access this section in the store. Or at least buy/ rent films with multilanguage options. Having looked at the forum i see its not possible to change the language of the iTunes app (which is fine) but can we still buy original version / English media? As a longstanding customer of Apple I would be more than appalled to hear that that was not possible. Please help and or fix.It IS definitely getting worse but not just in Spain. In the German store, you can no longer select movies in their original language (mostly English) either. What is Apple up to? Drive us all to Netflix, back to DVD or illegal streaming sites? Ridiculous. Wonder what the studios and other content providers think about this new policy.... I will stop using iTunes for movies etc if I have to watch dubbed stuff. As simple as that.

Thanks!The HT5312 page that you posted from has instructions for how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should give you a reset link.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset (these are user-to-user forums).

I forgot the security questions and also the password (and even account id, sequrity questions,... becouse I didn't use for a long time) for security info email of my apple id. Now I want to change the security info email with another. What Should I do?
Even if I'm not despertate, creating a new Id is good Idia. But I think I must create another email address also since I can't use the first email adress as an apple id for the new one. That means I should check everyday the new email address also, that is making life complex. Better to try the 1st solution. Thank you very much.

It sounds like you are trying to purchase an app on your iPhone while in Nigeria. You do not need to create a new Apple ID to do this. You will just need change the iTunes Store country in your iPhone settings and update your billing information to match the country you are in:
Change your iTunes Store country
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

If you are looking for a refund for the purchase of this application, you must request this from the support web site for the itunes or app's store. You should note that officially the iTunes Store does not give refunds and that the terms of sale state that "all sales are final". You can ask, though, and perhaps they'll make an exception for you. Just state why you feel a refund is deserved.
