Would you please tell me how can I delete an existing itunes account, and is it possible to create a new one using the same E-mail of the deleted account ? Thank you

Hello how are you all?
I am a visitor from India , I recently bought and iPad and to download some music and movies I created an iTunes account .
But I'm gifting this iPad to somebody and want to make sure that my iTunes account is deleted before giving it away.
I signed in to manage my account billing and purchases but the system merely allows me to edit my credit card info not totally erase it.
Also I don't want to just sign out and give it away, I need that no credit card info is in my iTunes account before giving it.
I've tried the obvious ways to manage and edit the account but I don't see anything to delete
Even restoring the iPad with the reset feature doesn't delete the account info , it just signs you out
I don't know though if erasing data on the iPad would help

You restore the device as new, however if you do not have the Apple ID and password that was used to originally activate the phone, you will not be able to activate it again. I'm a newbie so be gentle. I have my husband's old Macbook Air OS X 10.9 with 4 GB memory. He opened an itunes account on this computer and has the same account on his new computer. I am trying to open my own itunes account but I can't because my mac and my phone have been commandeered by his account. I can't download any tunes or apps unless I get rid of his old account and open my own. Any advice?

Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. If Apple have asked you to contact them, then the issue can only be resolved by them.

All of the content will always be tied to the account from which they were purchased. You will have to authorize your computer for that account.
Just change the e-mail associated with your old account to your new e-mail address. Starting a new account generally is troublesome.

Okay. My bad. I just looked up what the home sharing feature encompasses. And it basically just to be able to stream to any device. But it doesn't actually store it to that device. For example: I open my iTunes and turn on the home sharing. Then I turn on my Apple TV and search for computers. And now I'm streaming a movie from my computer's itunes library directly to the TV without having to connect my computer to the TV.
Here is my advice. And this is what we do in my house. If you love your Dad's iTunes library, Then just Download all of the audio files to your computer. While you won't be able to use the cloud features that itunes purchases provide, you WILL be able to have your father's music. But you'll have to store it at home, on a hard drive somewhere where it's always accessable.
Actually I have a network drive where I keep ALL of our MP3 and iTunes purchases housed. And I just drag them from the network drive into iTunes then sync. This way files aren't being moved all around the house.
Notes:
Anything you purchase from iTunes is always readily available in the cloud and does not take up any of your free 5GB cloud space. Just like when you download apps. If you have to reset your device, those apps are always still yours to redownload for free since you already bought them.

TS1702 How can i delete my iTunes Account?

Because of the new Security questions that iTunes has put on my Account, I can not download new apps to put on my phone. I have been in contact with Apple, iTunes and iCloud. Now I am to the point I just want to delete my current account and make a new one. This is so stupid, iTunes has been no help to me at all, the Apple people where rude to me and the iCloud has not even contacted me back. What am i soppose to do. I am very upset with all 3 of these company's, if you are going to change you product tell the people that are using it that you are going to change it and if there is a problem fix it. Actually Brooke, iTunes did that for additional Security purposes. It's not corruption. If iTunes is corrupt, they could've not entitled customers for refund when the customers does not want what they bought. If you're going to delete the account, all of your purchases will be gone. The security questions are originally set-up by you. If you can't remember setting them up, iTunes would likely ask you three questions. If it is asking you 3 questions, it means it's asking you to setup the questions now. If it's asking you 2 questions, it means it has been configured by YOU before. Go to appleid.apple.com to manage your apple id and see if you have a rescue email address where you can easily send the reset security questions email.
