Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether.

A PC can have more issues connecting than a Mac.
But it really should not matter.. so just try it in situ.. press and hold the reset.. once it starts up, it will return to default IP, 10.0.1.1 the PC should then be able to find it via the airport utility.
If not drag it over to the Mac and plug in there by ethernet.. or since it is a laptop, really should not be that difficult to drag the Laptop and plug it into the TC.
Important thing is to get access to the TC.
The Mac if it is running lion, then you MUST download and install 5.6 airport utility to do anything useful.

It might be logical to someone, but not to me. I agree it's a pain.
How did you change your Apple ID? Creating a new one is not what you want to do, but if you changed the ID associated with your purchases then that might have worked. You would need to sign in with the Apple ID on both your iPod Touch as well as in iTunes. I'm not sure how you changed it but clearly they need to match.
If it's just your password that is not getting recognized reset it here: http://iforgot.apple.com/
It will send an email confirmation to the email address associated with that Apple ID. The email address you elect to use might not look anything like your Apple ID. If you don't appear to get an email check your spam filter.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, a number of users appear to have encountered this problem. Some of these users have reported that the problem just disappears the following day or shortly after. Other users have found various other solutions to this problem.
Firstly, are you receiving any date and time errors when you turn on your Apple TV?
Check that you are properly connected to the Internet, by ensuring that you have a proper IP address and not one starting with 169. Also check that your location for the iTunes Store is set correctly, if so you might try changing it and then changing it back.
If the problem persists try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router, or if this doesn't work you might like to try a restore.

All of a sudden Pages stopped emailing documents. Any ideas?

Pages had been working wonderfully for me for about a year. I use it for everything. Just last week, it stopped emailing documents. I also have quick office on my Ipad and check to see if that would email. It did, which led me to believe that is is an issue with Pages, not my IPad. I have repeatedly checked for any app updates for Pages, but haven't seen one. Any ideas? Has anyone else had this problem?

Ahhhh so glad this isn't just me. I've relied heavily on Pages on iPad2 since the device launched, and over the past two weeks docs that I've thought had been sent haven't been received by recipients
Just tested properly and whether I send as Pages, .PDF or .doc from either of my accounts set up in Mail nothing gets sent. I don't recall any update to Pages since I purchased the app? I don't believe I've installed any app that would cause a conflict
I also use Keynote and Numbers iPad apps so thought I'd test those: in Keynote when I try to email a presentation (regardless of selected format) it pops open the new email with presentation embedded but doesn't let me enter an email address - as if it's locked up. I can change the from address but can't input recipient details. In Numbers I can successfully email spreadsheets
So in summary, two apps that I use heavily are rendered useless by this problem. Will have a hunt around and see if anybody else has the same issue and if so seek a resolution

I have an old MacBook Pro running 10.6.8 and I use the email that comes with the Snow Leopard. A few weeks ago I started getting the header for the incoming message but the contents would be blank. If I checked this same message on my iPhone it was all there. This week I had an email that I was previously able to read on my MacBook turn up empty when I clicked on it. Than there are other emails that I get that wont down load the graffics just the links, there is no rhyme or reason to which ones it chooses to do this to. Any ideas? I would appreciate any suggestions that anyone has.

Sometimes can't find a sent email in Lion - any idea why?

Since upgrading to Lion I sometimes can't find a sent email.
The pattern seems to be:
1. It's with a Gmail account.
2. I think it's when I reply more than once to the same mail.
I want to look back over the mail and just don't see it anywhere within Mail. I know to whom the email is sent and I try looking for all mail sent to that person (even checking everywhere) and I can't find the very last email I sent.
If I go into Gmail and look at All Mail I do see the mail there. And the person does receive the mail. It's just not showing up in my sent mail in my Mail app.
Any idea why this might happen?

I'm thinking now that maybe it could be cases where I sent the reply from my iPhone Mail app instead of my iMac Mail app...
The email I was just talking about does show up on my iPhone Mail app, even without going into Gmail.

When I turn iMessage off, it sends from my phone number. When I turn it back on and check the caller ID, it has my phone number checked, however, when I start texting again, people are still receiving the messages from my email. Any advice?

There really aren't any details. I fill out the form, email, password, check agree, fill captcha, press next --- and nothing. I have two computers that I'm hoping to sync, one with XP, one with windows 8. I have precisely the same result with both computers.
What's the problem? Firewall? Pop-up blocker? Ad blocker? Firefox is always the latest version. It is set to update automatically. Whenever an update is offered, it is accepted.
Will I need to run troubleshooter for both computers/OS?
