You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.

Hello i am so mad at apple right now. i had an apple id with my comcast email. i then decided to change my email to me.com with icloud so my devices would sync. check syncing is working, check i am getting emails, check i can log in to app stor and itunes with me.com address. one problem i cant change my comcast email in primary email to my me.com email. i keep getting itunes flyers and apple discussions emails through comcast. i want to change that to me.com email.

I'm very frustrated.
I called your support, the gentleman that helped me talked so fast I couldn't understand him. I asked him to repeat it he said it the same speed, couldn't understand him. Anyways, he went on to tell me that anything to do with iTunes gift cards are all automated online, but said he couldn't direct me because he didn't have the website up infront of him at that time. Poor customer support.
I love apple, but that was disappointing.
PROBLEM: I sent a giftcard to the wrong email address I mistyped and missed a letter in the address. I need to resend it to the correct email. How can I do this?

Go to http://appleid.apple.com and sign in. Click 'Edit' next to the address which forms the ID and enter the new address.
Then go to iTunes and sign out if necessary, then sign in with the new ID address. (The account and actual ID remain the same, you've just changed the login.)
If you have an iCloud account using the same ID, turn off Find My iPhone/iPad/Mac if it is enabled, and sign out before proceeding. Failure to do this will cause problems.

If you remeber the password to that Apple ID then follow these steps
1 - Make sure you have an email address that is NOT an Apple ID
2 - Go to AppleID.Apple.com
3 - Where it reads Manage Apple ID - Sign in
Once you are signed in want to make sure the email address you are wanting to use is NOT set up as a "Recovery/Rescue" email for this account.
[To check this - Main page where you see Primary ID - below do you see the email address you want to use listed towards the bottom? Yes - Delete / No - Good ./. If made any adjustments "Save" Next on the left select "Password & Security" - Answer your security questions you set up "if you have any" then scroll towards the bottom and check to see if you see the email address you want to use. Yes - Delete / No - Good] <-> Also you can change your password on this page as well. Any adjustments made "Save"
Once this is done go back to the main page where you should read "Primary ID" and change the email address that is showing to the new email address youo want. "Save" Done

    1.    Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
    2.    If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
    3.    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

Your description doesn't make it entirely clear what you are trying to do. Your Apple ID - which you use to log in to iCloud - is a non-Apple email address and you can change this. You may also have a 'rescue' address (advisable) which is a non-Apple email address and you can change that. The @icloud.com address you set up when you opened the iCloud account can not be changed, but has nothing directly to do with Hotmail (other than that being the login).
What you can do is add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account, move it to another account, or reactivate it if you delete it.
