I just got a new computer. I didn't know you could sync bookmarks across computers, so I started recreating my bookmarks. Then I found out you could sync them, so I set up a sync account and tried that. What version of iPHoto did you have? What version now? how did you make the CDs (share burn? export? what?) How are you trying to "open" the pictures? Exactly what happens? what error messages? anything else that might help?

Also, there's no need to find the original disk for installation. Just download the latest update of your purchased version from here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ and user your original serial number.

iCloud is not the way to do this. You should use Migration Assistant - with this you can transfer your complete User folder from the old Mac including preferences and logins. You will need to connect the two with FireWire or USB depending on the models.
Ideally you should do this before you set up the new Mac - if you create a user account with the same name than the Migration will have to give the migrated user folder a different name. When you first switch on the new Mac it should ask you if you want to transfer your data, and give you instructions.

But I also want my iphone to have the apps and other material that is already on it.

Restore from the iCloud backup - assuming that you were backing up to iCloud in the first place. If you weren't using iCloud for backup - then you are out of luck.
If you were backing up to iCloud - you have to erase all contents on the iPad in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings - before you can restore from the iCloud backup.
