HT2731 If you are setting up a new apple ID for a new device and another device has one on the computer already how do u share?

If there is a device already with an apple ID that is different from the new device shared on the same computer, how do u manage both, or rather set up two itunes accounts?

I'm pretty sure if I need to use Find My Phone I can log in from any device into that stupid cloud as long as I have activated it on the phone first. Sometimes I do use that method when traveling but not for daily use.
We can share our iTunes products easily between the phones on both the computers.
I don't trust the cloud. You may feel free to do so but I won't and I won't buy a basic phone because of my mistrust. Although the stupid cloud claims your data is secure or encrypted etc, it's a database. Period. One giant database and SOMEONE has to have access to the information UNENCRYPTED to manage, restore etc. There ARE master users or whatever you want to call them and I'm sorry, I just don't trust. I also have a stalker and because of that I am extra cautious. Don't worry, he's already facing two felony charges and trying to worm out of a jail sentence.
My cell phone and internet provider promised me security and my email addresses have been sold to the highest paying spammer and I get HUNDREDS of spam emails daily. For the first two years I was spam free. Didn't even see that crap in my junk folder but the last 5 years it's increasing daily. Now how does that happen? Unscrupulous employees is my guess. Especially since I do not use my regular email address for things I know will generate spam. I'm very cautious of my privacy online. Very.
Thank you for believing iCloud is safe but you did hear about all those celebrities whose photos were hacked and stolen from iCloud, didn't you? THIS is (one of many reasons) why the cloud can't be trusted.

Next, he can sign out of the Apple services that are currently using your Apple ID on your old iPad, and sign in with his own.

It sounds like you are looking for a program like Typinator.
It isn't free, and the site doesn't specify compatibility with any OS above 10.7.
As of today, the latest release is dated May 29th, 2012.

Photoshop writes the preferences file upon exit. If you shut down your computer without properly quitting photoshop there's a chance the preferences will not be properly saved and you will be back to defaults. Always close photoshop, then shut down your computer.

Your photos are actually all in the Camera Roll. The album you create only contain pointers to these pictures. Albums are like music playlists; when you delete a song from the playlist it doesn't delete the song from your music library. But when you delete a song from your music library it will also be deleted from any playlists that it may have been in as well.

The definition of insanity.....
Does it ask for the old device by name? How do you know it isn't restored? Have you completed setup and checked on the device?
Are you using the same iTunes account and Apple ID?
On your iTunes account, Open preferences, go to devices tab
Look in the box for a backup of your old device. Is there a backup?
If there is no backup, you have nothing to restore.

HT5706 I have not used my apple tv in a few years, and just got it out of the bag. I connected it up, and it cannot set date, time. it also does not interact with the remote. Could it be as simple as a new batter is needed for remote?

While updating my iphone 4s to ios6, I had to restore it. Now every time I connect to itunes, I get the "Set Up Your iPhone" window with the set up as new iphone and restore from backup options. After the restore, I got everything except my apps back.

You can change the Apple ID used for purchasing on her phone by going to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using her Apple ID. However, be aware that if she has any apps on her phone purchased with your Apple ID she will still be prompted to enter the password associated with this ID for all future updates of these apps. If you kept the same Base Station name and network name, that can confuse Keychain Access. Either change the Base Station and network name, or open Keychain Access Utility and delete any reference to your Base Station and network name. Make sure you delete from the Login and System keychains.

Wipe iPhone/iPad/iPod touch clean
There are a few steps to do:
Switch off iMessage in Settings > Messages
Switch off FaceTime in Settings > FaceTime (iPod touch 4th Generation or later, iPhone 4 or later and iPad 2 or later)
Delete iCloud in Settings > iCloud > Delete Account
Finally Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.

Now you can sell/give.
Now, you should get her a new Apple ID to sign in the options above.

The way that Dropbox works is that it keeps a copy of all your files in your local Dropbox folder on your hard drive (which is, by default, directly under your home folder). Adding files to that folder will sync them to the Dropbox server.
You do of course have to download the Dropbox application to enable this (download link at the top right of http://dropbox.com ).
