HT2731 New password, now can't purchase from iTunes!

I just reset my password for my Apple ID and now am not allowed to purchase from the Store! I get the message that
this Apple ID is now allowed to purchase at this time. What the heck??? My last purchase with my previous password,
same ID, was on the 12th of this month.

You can only download content(other than podcast episodes) from a country's iTunes Store if you're in that country. For paid content, you also need to supply a payment method valid in that country.

I cannot remember the answer to my security questions, so now I cannot purchase from the iTunes store. Incidentally, I remember my password and can connect on my iPad.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use.
If you also can't remember your iTunes account's password then you can try getting it reset via http://iforgot.apple.com or by contacting support via the HT5699 link above

I'm having problems purchasing music and free applications from Itunes using the Itouch. It keeps asking for password, which I'm putting in. I've tested it by purchasing from Itunes on desktop computer and it works.

They will only be on your computer's iTunes if you put them there. If you are in a country where you can re-download music then they should show under the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. If they don't show there then you can connect your phone to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over.

The state will most likely be Israel. Different countries accept different credit cards, and I cannot tell you what is acceptable in Israel.

HT204074 I need to authorize my new computer to play previous purchases from itunes, I have read the support but can not find store menu topic

I am having a hard time authorizing my new computer for previous purchases on itunes. The support suggestion to go to store menu and select authorize is not materializing anything even remotely similiar. At the store I only see advertisement and topics at the bottom. Can anyone guide me thru this, it really should be easier.

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.
If the computer's running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

I recently upgraded from an iphone 4 to a 4s, but now all songs purchased from iTunes will not play via my phone. Any idea how to fix this problem?

I upgraded from an iphone 4 to a 4s, after a few initial problems and two restores, everythings seemed to be working...until I went to play some music, all music loaded to itunes via CD's played, but ALL purchased music from itunes does not play...i click on the song and the screen flashes to the image then goes back to the list of songs, so the purchased music shows up...just does not play. Can anyone help resolve this problem? Thanks!

here is an interesting thing: take the iphone and set lock screen to never. Now make an email with siri--be sure to activate her with call button. get to the body and get some text in there. then just stop talking. LOCK SCREEN APPEARS!!!!!! and of course you draft is gone.
There does seem to be a work around for some--maybe all these issues. Don't use the call button--use the buttons on the phone.
Siri seems to behave properly with scenerio above---sans call button. She does not go to lock.

i am trying to purchase songs from itunes and am not able to do so. i uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it and i'm getting the same message. the currency value for every song is in "Kr" rather than the US "$". can someone help me out here? thanks!

Can't purchase from iTunes since OS 10.3.9 Update

Ever since I updated my OS to 10.3.9, my iTunes 4.9 gives me an error message when I try to purchase a song. The error message reads, you must have version 6.0 to purchase this song but I can't upgrade since my G3 is running at 400 mHz. Help!!

This might happen if you accessed your iTMS account through iTunes 6.x once.
In this case prior versions are refused when trying to buy music.
As a workaround you may create a new account using iTunes 4.9.
Several iTMS IDs will coexist in a single iTunes library.

Can't purchase from iTunes Music Store

I haven't seen this posted anywhere, apologies if it's a repeat.
I just upgraded to iTunes 7.1.1. When I try to purchase I'm able to login, and then I'm told that my account information has changed and I must verify it. I can fill in everything except Country, which is correctly pre-filled. But when I click the Done button, submission fails with the message "You did not complete the entire form. Please enter your country." We had no problems until the upgrade, nothing else has changed AFAIK. Does Apple not want my money? Is this a bug with 7.1.1?

My problem is slightly different. My friend called me with the connection error on his Windows laptop last night. I tried on my MBP and I can get into the store, but if I search for anything, it's insanely slow.
If I click on a link or whatever, it's fine, just searching that's slow. By slow I mean from the time I hit return to the time I see anything, 2-3 minutes. It was like this last night at home on Cable and here at work on a T3.
