HT2736 Do I receive a notification when the gift is delivered? I'm worried it went to his "Spam/Junk" folder!

I was so thrilled at the discovery that I could send an album as a gift; my worry now is that the notification to the recipient may be in the Junk/Spam folder and he will not see it; do I receive a notification th at the gift has been delivered? Thanks and Merry Christmas!

I assume you used the orange bag that BT would of sent out with the replacement hub and did you keep the reciept that the Post Office would of given you as proof of sending?
If you have the latter, you should mention this to BT asap.

1. you may have to take it in to Apple and get an out of warranty iphone for $199.
2. you can get your information from a backup of your phone. you do have a backup of your phone right either in iTunes or icloud. If you don't then your answer will be no.

Sorry, without knowing the Apple ID/Password that was originally used to activate this phone, then there is no way to re-activate it, as you've found out.
Apple can't/won't help you. Your choice is to get this info, or you simply won't be able to re-activate this phone.
If you ex won't give it to you, then consult a lawyer.

In 12c OEM where can I set the notification when the Agent is down.

In 10g OEM environment , while creating the notification rule , we have a tab "availablity" which has the option to choose for the Agent target availability.
But while creating a rule in the 12c , I didn't find that kind of option. So, how can I enable my self to alerted for the agent nonavailability.

EM12c has an entirely different set up for notifications. You would configure this under the Setup menu by selecting Incidents, followed by Incident Rules.
Within Incident Rules you should see a couple default Oracle-provided incident rulesets. I created an additional ruleset (priority 3, after the default rulesets) that contains various rules, each rule matching a type of incident for which I want to receive notification.
Specifically for the "agent down" situation, my rule is set up as:
Target Type is Agent
Status in (Closed; New)
Category is Availability
Then you specify actions to occur when the rule gets triggered -- I've specified the action to email my EM administrator login, which is configured with my email address.

Notification when the stage is vissible on the screen

I'm creating a JavaFx application which is a client application that interacts with an server. I created a preloader like scene which shows the progress (with a progress bar) when the application receives a broadcast from the server with server location, application initialization and when started for the first time the user must give a client name. I do not use the preloader interface because it seems to be discarded on the raspberry pi (correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm using a log file and nothing is written to the file from the preloader i created before this attempt).
This all works fine, user can do input, and when te client starts for the second time and later, the client automaticaly logs in. When i start this client on my development machine i see the preloader scene starting from the beginning. But when i start the same application on the raspberry pi (which offcourse is a LOT slower), the preloader scene is not earlier visible then when:
- The client receives the broadcast from the server after 4/5 seconds, because the application is then in a "wait" state.
- Or when the broadcast is recieved quite fast, when there is user input needed,
- When the broadcast is recieved quite fast and there is no user input needed, i rarely see the preloader scene appearing.
I've understand that there is a main FX thread for graphical actions and there are you're own threads etc... I have the following code to start the application initialization progress when the preloader scene comes visible in my application start method:

The constructor of the PidomeClientPreloader is creating the preloader scene and puts all the items on the scene as needed. When the preloader is done initializing the rootStage is shown. But as mentioned on the raspberry pi, the event WINDOW_SHOWN seems to be fired before the scene is graphical visible. I'm not using Platform.Runlater in my preloader code (only in one update function to update the progress bar from background threads).
Is there a way to have a absolute way of determining when a scene is really visible, or is this as far as i can get because the FX thread is always running behind?

There are four general causes of this issue:
1. The computer's PRAM no longer contains a valid startup disk setting when there aren't any problems with the disk itself. This can be checked for by pressing the Option key and seeing if the drive appears.
2. The internal drive's directory structure has become damaged. This requires usage of an alternate bootable system to perform the repair.
3. Critical system files have been deleted. This requires usage of an alternate bootable system to reinstall them.
4. The internal drive has died or become unplugged. This is the most likely case if the computer took a sharp impact or there are unusual sounds coming from the hard drive's location.

Our customer would enhance its SRM solution by satisfying the following need:
Here is the context:
- A requester creates a SC
- A purchaser take this SC back and creates a PO linked to the SC
When the PO is approved, the SC requester is not informed that a PO has been created in reference to his SC.
The purpose will be to define a notification (displayed in the requester's UWL) that given him a PO has been created in reference to his SC.
Do you know if this wish is possible by customizing? If not, is there any conceivable easy developpement to meet this requirement?

Can I stop SMS notification when the iPhone is being used as a phone?

I love my iPhone, but the one thing that is driving me mad is SMS notifications coming through when I'm talking on the phone - a startling loud alert when the phone is pressed hard against my ear makes me jump every time, and actually hurts a bit too! I don't want to have my SMS alerts as silent, I'd just like the phone to realise that shouting 'PING!' in my ear when I'm on the phone is not good for my hearing or nerves!

As I can some native APPs have some kind of notification system which works even if the APP is not opened.
Is there a way to do that with AIR?

an event is dispatched if your open app is closed
NativeApplication.nativeApplication.addEventListener(Event.EXITING, onExit);
but it doesn't make sense to get notification of i-have-no-idea-what-you're-thinking when your app is already closed.

How to not get notifications when the iOS app is closed

I don't know if this is for everyone or just me. When I double click the home button and close skype I still get's messages. This is so annoying, I'm in a big group chat so I almost always get's messages. And turning on bussy doesn't work either or turning on sleep mode (sometimes sleep mode works). The only thing that has been working is turning on offline. I think this is really bad, just turning off the app should work. So does this this tace celuar network even when the app is closed? That truly SUCKS! I love the app othewise. Please fix this. I've a iPhone 5s

In my experience, there is no direct way to handle multiple messages in the same time.
If I'm not misunderstanding, I think you want to make a Message app, as a workaround, I think you can pull message data from your Mobile Service can display them in your Messages page, this is more like build-in message app.

Receive push notification when a new item is added to a shared list in Reminders.app?

I want to use the Reminders app on my iPhone to share a list with my wife. The sharing is set up easily, but I want to receive an alert when she adds something to the list. Does anyone know if this is possible. We weren't able to figure it out and have since switched to AnyList which does offer this feature on shared lists. But I'd rather use Reminders because of it's integration with Mac OS.

Why workflow? If you just need to send email then you can use "Alert Me" feature. If you want to approve the item via workflow then just create OOTB workflow from list settings page.

Set notifications when the time defined in Service Level SLA is exceeded

I am looking for ways how to in OSM set a time - service level (*SLA*) for each function of the orchestration.
If time is exceeded for each function, Make a notification to an external system.
You can do things like this at Order and Task Levels, but I do not know how to do this at the level of each function.
Does anyone know how I could solve this issue.

Hi David,
you have the option of defining a jeopardy on the order based on the expected process duration, which is an attribute of each process.
Go to Order editor, jeopardy tab, conditions and check the third checkbox and leave the first radio button below. Then you would set the desired duration on the process executing your component. You could also link an automator to the notification and do whatever you want.
Now the problem is the Design studio does not let you set the expected duration for a process through the process editor nistead it populates 86400 seconds every time, but if you open the file in the Package Explorer view, you should be able to modify this by editing the file (haven't tested it though), but I believe it should deploy and once it is in the DB model, it should work since this is old 6.3 functionality. Try it andd let me know!
I believe you could even create an SR for the fact the DS does not alloow to set the duration on a process on the grounds of missing functionality which was previously available, unless it was officially deprecated (I am not aware of that), or, unless there is a way to do this with the Studio of which I am not aware.
If this does not work for whatever reason the only way I can think of is declaring the jeopardy notification on the Order and linking a custom rule created for the purpose which would need to be a sql based rule where the PL / SQL would evaluate the duration of the process executing your function. Would be a bit of coding, but I believe you could make it work.

I need to the send email notification to the program manager (or to a user) whenever the project manager changes the task finish date for a task. Comparison should happen with the baseline finish and the difference needs to be updated to the Program Manager
over mail.
How to configure/customize email notification for changes in MPP.

If you are not having developer skills it will be complicated for you.
You need to create event handler by code, as in the below link:
