ITunes store won't allow me to use my MasterCard... But doesn't give me details of why. Have others had this problem, and how have they solved it?

iTunes supports only mov mp4 and m4v video formats. If you have added above format files to iTunes library and still not showing in the movies library, please repair your QuickTime.
Control Panel > Programs n Features > highlight QuickTime, click CHANGE then REPAIR.

It seems kind of dumb that I would need to use my credit card to purchase music as gifts when I have sufficient money available in my iTunes balance. This makes no sense to me. It would almost be better to purchase the music to my account, find and copy the folder it downloaded to and then send that to the person I was buying the gift for in the first place. At least this way we would both have the music!

it does not have ot make sense to you. This is the way the itunes store works.

That means you already have an account under that email. No duplicate accounts so your SOL, make a new email, or login with that gmail.

So here's what I do. I press Ctrl + O (File > Add File to Library), then I click the movie I want to add to my iTunes Library. iTunes seems to load for about two seconds, then... nothing. The movie isn't added to the library. I've tried it in .avi, .mp4 and .mov so far, but it's not working at all. I'm trying to add an actual movie, by the way. It's about 700 MB in size. Is there a size limit? The movie was given to me by a friend, originally in .avi format.
Am I missing something?

If you switch you will have to backdate it to keep the overages from happening. Also you'll pay the difference in advance. So if the difference is $20. You pay $40 more next month compare to this month, but the following month will be $20 more like it should(bill in advance). When you downgrade plans you'll get credited the difference like it should as it works both ways.

I just logged out of my daughter's account and back in, and now it works. Deducted from gift card account balance. So I hope this is resolved.

I have an old iPod Touch with old software that can no longer be updated:
iOS version 6.1.6
I've been searching for a solution to my iMessage login problem for months and tried everything from those frustrating links and all the tips from other users.
Here is what finally worked:
1) Settings > Privacy > Location Services > On
2) Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically > On
3) Reboot device until Apple logo appears
4) Settings > Messages > Sign In
