HT2737 what can i do if my code on my itunes gift card scratches off with the scratch off label?

I have a 25$ itunes giftcard. When I scratched off the scratch off label some of the code came off with it. Is there anything I can do to be able to use giftcard?

Are you able to take it back to the store that you bought it from and ask them to activate it properly ?
