TS3048 my magic mouse does not want to right click anymore?

My magic mouse does not seem to right click anymore, any suggestions? For example, I used to right click on my icon of my memory card from the camera that I have inserted into the side of the IMac and I could choose "eject" now it doesn't want to right click and open up those options. This seems to be a common issue.
I've seen mixed posts on the net about the ES8000 working with the Apple Keyboard but from what I've seen the Apple mouse tends to fail the sync constantly.
Sad, I just bought a mouse to improve navigasting on the ES8000 and dissapointed that it doesn't sync. Maybe an issue with drivers on the TV.

You are correct that you cannot install version 5.x of the AirPort Utility on OS X Mountain Lion. However, once installed it will run just fine. One workaround is to extract the utility directly from the disk image (.dmg) file.
Here are the basic steps to install version 5.6 under Mountain Lion using CharlesSoft's Pacifist:
If you haven't already download the AirPort Utility disk image file directly from Apple Support Download
Place the resultant AirPortUtility56.dmg file onto your Mac's Desktop.
Run Pacifist.
Click on the Open Package option. Find the disk image file that you just placed on your desktop, and then, click on Open.
The utility is located as follows: Contents of AirPortUtility56.dmg > Contents of AirPortUtility56.pkg > Contents of AirPortUtility56Lion.pkg > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility 5.6.app
Drag AirPort Utility 5.6.app to your Mac's /Applications/Utilities folder.
You can now run the AirPort Utility from the Utilities folder.

Restart -- Magic Mouse does not auto-reconnect

After I updated OS from 10.6.4 to 10.6.5 with the combo updater, upon restart my Magic Mouse no longer auto-reconnect via Bluetooth. I even applied the combo updater for the second time. But, every time I restart my Mac, I have to use a USB mouse to reconnect the Magic Mouse back to the Mac.
How can I bring the auto-reconnect back? This is driving me crazy.

I believe that I have solved the issue with the following procedure.
[0] Let's suppose that, after a restart, the Magic Mouse did not auto-connect.
[1] Use a USB mouse to open *System Preferences > Bluetooth*.
[2] In the left-side window, select the Magic Mouse.
[3] At the bottom of this left-side window, pull down the menu and select *Update Device Services*.
It may take a moment or two for the update to occur.
[4] In the left-side window, the Magic Mouse should now appear as Connected.
[5] Restart the Mac and see if the Magic Mouse auto-connects now.

Magic mouse does not swipe correctly

Upgraded to Mavericks. Magic Mouse only swipes between open screens instead of within pages in a document, returning to previous page on web site, etc.

Disregard. I looked a some other forums and checked my system settings. One finger swiping had been disabled. All is well.
For now.

Magic Mouse does not swipe between full screens.

Even tho prefrences is checked that one finger swipes between pages and two finger swipe between full screen apps, I am unable to do so. It only goes between say mail, dashboard and one chrome or say I photo. What could I be doing wrong?

I went to Mission Control and set up more desktops, Thanks Captfred. I'm getting the hang of it, but occ. it gets stuck, ie: I-Cal goes from page to page. Any suggestions? Thanks again Captfred.

If the mouse is paired with the Air, you will need to delete from there before it will pair wiht the mini. Bluetooth devices may be only paired with one thing at a time.

Photoshop elements 11 just after installation in the editor the mouse does not even scroll top menu

HI guys
Very dissapointed so far by this adobe soft, that I just installed a few hours ago. At this point it is worthless and no way I can use it like that . After installation I went directly into the editor and right away I saw that the software was very sluggish with my cursor dragging . After clicking on a top menu (File) the menu bar open (5 sec.)and if I scroll it down I do not see the blue color following my cursor, and if I click at the location in the bar of my cursor it takes a few second before it respond. I am also using the following adobe softwares that works flawlessly : Photoshop CS5.5 extended; Bridge; Camera Raw; Lightroom 4.2. My computer uses an Asus P7P55-E Premium motehrboard with Win 7 pro 64 bits with an intel I 860 2.8 mhz and 8 gigs of RAM. All my adobe softs are 64 bits, except for elements 11. After seeing that, I installed the upgrades without any visible problems. Even after that nothing has improved.
I have to say that I have quite a few softwares installed that all work perfectly such has Topaz bundle; Photomatix pro, etc. In fact of all my softwares this is the only one that is giving me troubles.
I hope somebody has a solution for this extremely poor behavior.

I think you are using Win7, if yes please try the following
Right click on the PSE icon and select Run as administrator
Now try to use it, check if there is any change or not.

HT1338 updated OS to Maverick, now magic mouse will not scroll. what happened?

I updated my OS to Mavericks latest, and now the magic mouse does not scroll...what happened? works through bluetooth, so I can move the cursor, but it will not scroll.
Can someone help me with this?

If your Magic Mouse is not scrolling, first go to the Mouse section of System Preferences and try toggling the "Scroll direction: natural" checkbox to see if it has an effect.
Scroll direction: natural:
Select this option to move the contents of a window the same direction as your fingers.

Mouse does not scroll

Why does the magic mouse does not scroll? It only works sideways. I went to the apple store and worked with their computers.

If you're still on 10.5 Leopard as your profile indicates then update to 10.5.8 and then apply this update.

Sorry I can't help you. I just wanted to let you know I have the same exact problem. It started three days ago and I've been going back and forth with creative support and nothing has worked. I am beginning to grow really distressed. I feel a little better now because after seeing that it's happening with someone else, it is most likely not the player. I am running windows 98 SE as well. I also have an AMD Duron processor. I have a new computer on the way with windows XP I really hope it works. But now I have a new problem. I listed it on the front page of this forum a few minutes ago. My player froze and now only boots up in rescue mode. I am getting so frustrated with my player. If you figure anything out will you be as kind as to send me a message on how you got your player working again? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

We just added Maverick to our Mac and now the magic mouse will not scroll with finger tips!!

We just upgraded our system to Maverick. Now our majic mouse does not respond to the finger swipe at all.
Also the volume contro;s stopped working on the wireless keyboard.

Set Up Bluetooth Mouse does not discover magic mouse

Had been having difficulty with magic mouse randomly exhibiting eratic scrolling so went into system preferences to reset the mouse settings (may have happened when upgraded to snow leopard). Under Bluetooth, mouse is paired and on but when i went into mouse settings and tried to use Set Up Bluetooth Mouse (I changed settings to enable two finger scrolling) mouse is not found. BTW there is a USB mouse connected, which I did when the eratic problems started.

My Magic Mouse is not moving the pointer on the screen but it allows me to scroll up and down by sliding my fingers on the mouse.

My Magic Mouse is not moving the pointer on screen. However, it is allowing me to scroll text up and down by dragging my fingers on the mouse. How can I recover full use? I am using a MacBook Pro with Mavericks. All indications are that the mouse is connected through the Bluetooth connection and the batteries have significant life in them.

Mouse does not track as expected (jittery, jumpy, slow, fast).
The Apple Wireless Mouse can be used on most smooth surfaces, however if tracking issues occur try these options:
Choose System Preferences from the Apple () menu, then choose Mouse from the View menu. Set the Tracking slider to adjust how fast the pointer moves as you move the mouse.
Try using a different surface to see if the tracking improves.
Turn the mouse over and inspect the sensor window. Use compressed air to gently clean the sensor window if dust or debris is present.
If multiple Bluetooth wireless devices are in use nearby, try turning them off one at a time to see if the issue improves. Bandwidth intensive devices could affect tracking.
