I want to install my track pad on a different mac from the one it was initially installed on, It wont let me as its linked to my other mac

You shouldn't have any issues if you delete the trackpad from the original system in System Preferences > Bluetooth > highlight the trackpad and click the "-" icon below.
Then go to the new system and pair it in Bluetooth preferences.

How to install elance Tracker System on archlinux?

Hi guys, anobody here knows how to install elance Tracking system on archlinux,
Elance only provide rpm and deb packages,
I tried to use rmp2targz and deb2targz, but don't work, I also checked this video:

You are quite welcome...amazing how many new batteries are actually not strong enough to handle the task.
There is a solution I have found for my Magic Mouse at home after going through many sets of batteries: the Apple store has a battery charger/rechargable battery set that comes with 6 AA rechargable batteries ($30 US). I just replace the batteries when they get low with a charged set and pop the low batteries in the charger for a few housrs. Always have a set ready to go that way.

I and several others have problems with erratic track pad behavior, and the posts I've seen over the past couple of months haven't gotten any effective replies.
The cursor behavior is the same as if you were using a mouse and the left button sticks on; you can jiggle it off with an amount of effort that's unacceptable for routine use and it usually sticks again immediately. If I plug in a mouse, the same problems remain, which I interpret as meaning that the trackpad malfunction keeps the cursor control in the "left-button-on" state and the mouse input is just an additional signal.
Others who have reported similar trackpad problems also say their problems continue when using mice or external trackpads. I'm 99% sure that if communication between trackpad and processor is shut off, the mouse will control the cursor normally.
I don't see anything in the System Preferences to do this, can it be done from the Console?

I know that i should get an external usb optical drive, but buying such hardware for one use is a waste of money. Is there any other method?
I currently own a MacBook white, and really like the configuration. I it possible to copy the image of bootcamp to new mac mini? If so, what will happen to hardware and drivers?

Having read further websites, I am now a bit more dubious you can do this, at least with an XP installer.
However if you have a USB memory stick and an existing Windows computer (even a Boot Camp one) or can borrow one you could try using the free WinToFlash utility to make a supposedly bootable USB memory stick of the installer. See http://wintoflash.com/overview/en/
The problem is XP predates EFI firmare and XP only really knows BIOS firmware. As such (supposedly) XP would have problems booting from a USB device fully - it might lose connection part way through. Windows Vista and 7 do support EFI firmware.
The other approach I mentioned of temporarily moving the hard disk from the Mini to the MacBook so you can use the MacBook internal CD/DVD drive would work - be careful of the cables. Fortunately a new Mac mini and an old MacBook are two of the easier models to get at the hard disk. Regardless of which method you try, the first step would be on the Mac mini to run Boot Camp Assistant and to create the partition for Windows. Then via either method try booting from a Windows XP installer.
As I have taken Macs apart many times, I personally might go the swapping the hard disk over route.

1) Usual workaround for printing with Distiller under SL and InDesign CS4:
Copy the PPD called “ADPDF9.PPD” (download-link here in this topic) to Library/Printers/PPDs /Contents/Resources/en.lproj
Works for CS4. Problem: Does NOT work for CS5.
2) Workaround for InDesign CS5:
- Go to Applications/Adobe Indesign CS5/Presets
- Create a folder called “PPDs” (attention: foldername is case-sensitive!)
- Copy the PPD called “ADPDF9.PPD” (download-link here in this topic) into this folder.
- PostScript Printer will be useable within InDesign CS5

Pick the CS3 updater, install it the extension. Double click on the file, or open it using the Extension Manager.
Reboot / Start Dreamweaver, and your done.

I recently installed my cannon printer on my mac, but for some reson the scanner functionality is not working, do i need to install a different driver for the scanner, if so where do i get that. I can print docs with it but no luc with the scanning feature.

It appears that ML is not supported, you might try contacting Canon and see if they might have a work around.
