Your music should be in your iTunes library, that is how it gets synced to the iPod. If that music is not present in the iTunes library, you will need to get a 3rd party software for the computer to get the music off the original iPod and then move it to the iTunes library to be able to sync it to the new iPod. I mean to say that I downloaded mp3 songs from websites (not from iTunes) which I synced in my iPhone 4 using ''Manaually Manage Music''.
Now I am in my homecountry for vacations and don't have the laptop in which my iTune library is synced and I need to add more songs to my iPhone but when I put more songs to my iPhone it tells me that all current data from iPhone will be deleted.

The iphone is not a backup device. The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases.

There are some third party apps that claim to be able to copy music
from iPhone to computer - I do not use any so cannot comment on
their worth. Google may provide some assistance, but read reviews
carefully before trusting your only copy of any data to such programs.
iPhone is not meant to be a sole repository of any data. You should
regularly sync either with a computer using iTunes and other appropriate
programs for contacts, pictures, media etc. or via iCloud to protect your data.

How did the music get onto your iPhone? If it was all downloaded from iTunes,
depending on your location, you should be able to download again after update.
See if that is offered in your location before counting on being able to redownload.

copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder) from <MacintoshHD>/users/yourname/music on the source to <MacintoshHD>/users/yourname/music on the target (overwriting the iTunes folder in place there).
you can use an external HD or your network for this operation. everything will be as you were used to from the old machine.

I recently used the migration assistant on my old macbook air to transfer my data to my new macbook pro, yet it seems that my music and Films have not fully transferred over. i have used macs for a while now and haven't had any problems before, yet now itunes has the names of my music and films yet it can't locate the original file. any ideas on how to get this fixed? i don't want to buy all my music and films again.

Did the original files actually transfer? They would be in Music>iTunes>iTunes Music. You may just need to rebuild the library if the files are in that folder.

Derek's right. To explain his second point more, you can mount your old Mac's hard drive on your new one and once you've done this you can simply drag your music folder over.
You can mount various ways, if you have a router and both are on your LAN network I believe u use the Go menu in your new Mac to mount your old one.
You can also use a cable directly between the two. I did this years agonwith ethernet but I bet USB or even FireWire is possible.
Once you get your music copied over, you may need to add your music into your Mac's iTunes.
Open iTunes and then select Add to Library and then find your music folder to add. You can add single songs or folders of songs or your entire folder of all songs.

How to have all my music in one place!!

My itunes is in a mess!! My original computer broke and the itunes library had some of my cd collection as well as purchases from itunes. I cannot find the back-up discs from this original library, it is however on my old ipod (which hasn't been synched for over a year!!). Before the computer broke, I installed a couple of my favourite playlists onto my iphone (but not my entire music library). I have been making new purchases from the same account name and password as I have always had but obviously on itunes re-installed onto a new laptop. These new tunes have been synched to my iphone and I have recently upgraded my iphone software after backing it all up etc.
When I tried to sync tonight, my iphone said that i had to erase and sync my library as i wanted to transfer new purchases onto it - i did this as there was no other choice! I have lost my fav playlists and only have recent purchases in my itunes library on the laptop. i tried to sync my ipod which has my entire library minus recent purchases on it and it says that it is linked to another library and cannot transfer into my itunes - I have never had a different itunes account!! I would like all my music together but now have half on one device and the other half on the other! Is there a way I can merge the 2 together as i thought you could run 2 devices off one account - have tried thru' homesharing but not sure if that's the right way???

I don't think you can achieve using the code or property to unselect all radio buttons.
One possibility is there to create one extra radio button in that same group and set any value for that. Let say you have two radio buttons in the radio group and now you created one more radio button in the same group. And set the value like ABC. Now go to the property of new created radio button and set the X Position, Y Position, Width and Height to zero (0). And set the initial value for that radio group to ABC (new created radio button). So at runtime it will look like unselected all radio buttons. And while saving you can check if radio button selected on your criteria or not.

How to download all matched songs at once?

I have an older computer with all my songs I'm doing the iTunes Match with. I then have a new computer I want to download all of my matched music to, and I want to do this all at once. So far my only options are to play or click to download from the cloud icon to get them on my new machine. Does this mean I will have to click the little cloud icon 10,000 times for all of my songs I have in the cloud???? I'm going to need a new mouse when I'm done...lol

Good call... I ran into a small speed bump on how to select all the select songs at once.
My Macgyver skills paid off and I figured out a way. I used a point and shoot camera tripod and placed two of the legs on the shift and down arrow once I had all my songs orginized by "iCloud status". I then right clicked and downloaded all of them at together.

iSync does not synchronize mail at all, and .Mac Sync synchronizes only mailbox structures, rules, signatures and smart mailboxes, not mail content.
To 'synchronize' mail, you must use IMAP technology, as opposed to the far more common POP3 standard for incoming mailboxes. The OS X Mail program supports IMAP account creation, as do most electronic mail providers, including AOL and Yahoo. Notably, Google does not support IMAP with it's Gmail product: it's probably best described as a slightly whacky, non-standard POP3 offering, and is not a good choice if you want to 'synchronize' you mail among two or more clients.
This sort of POP3 vs IMAP and mail synchronization discussion occurs frequently in the Mail & Address Book forum, and there are several 'experts' there—listed typically in the Top Rated Members in Forum list in the right sidebar—who help users all the time.
