HT2931 "Don't worry, you can make commercial music with Garageband"
Those words, from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2931, contradict section 2 of the terms of use for GarageBand (http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/docs/GarageBand.pdf). There are similar terms of use for iMovie which seemingly prohibit commercial use.
Am I right? Please focus on analysis of the legal document, which trumps the support post. I know several law-biding people to take this stuff seriously.
Christoph, that text says that I am allowed to use the loop content in my own creations, and that I am able to distribute and broadcast those creations. It doesn't say whether the creations are allowed to be used for commercial purposes or not ("distributing/broadcasting" does not imply "distributing/broadcasting commercially"). Whereas Section 2.i. of the agreement (http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/docs/GarageBand.pdf ) explicitly says I am only allowed to use GarageBand for non-commercial purposes (loops or no loops). iMovie's agreement has identical language--the permitted uses and restrictions section of the agreement begins by clearly saying "non-commercial use only".
The way I see it, there is no other way to interpret section 2.i. of the agreement. Yes, per the text you quoted, I can make a work out of loops and still distribute it as my work (as long as I don't distribute my work as "loops"). But per section 2.i., I can only use the software non-commercially (meaning I may not sell what I make with it, regardless of what I made).
The question of using the loops has been answered many times on this forum; the answer is good to know. But the real question is "am I able to create anything in iMovie or GarageBand for commercial purposes?". This question has been asked, too. Lots of people answer "sure, I've done it for company X for years", but they don't justify their position in the context of "permitted license uses and restrictions", which clearly states the contrary.
So, can anybody justify, using the software license agreement, the use of GarageBand or iMovie for commercial purposes?

You need to take into account any applicable taxes and or fees. iTUNES STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
So if the total cost of the app exceeds 17$, you'll need to purchase and redeem another iTunes gift card. -
its not a question, but i just hope someone from apple can read this, i just wish you can make a card just like itunes card, for ipad wi-fi card. would be convenience.

But returning to your proposal ... Apple does not sell any of the "wifi" connections. It would be up to providers of service to sell giftcards, and perhaps Boingo or some of other airport-commercial WiFi firms do. I can't think of any other place I've been asked to pay for WiFi.
Now Verizon and AT&T, as well as other providers in other countries, could sell Gift Cards... and again, perhaps they do, but you'll have to check with them or make the suggestions there. It's really not an Apple issue, as they don't sell or provide any connections, just the hardware to make them. -

I have several issues that I hope you can help me out with. I am a professional photographer with a Mac with OS X 10.9.4:
- I can only make ONE contact sheet in CS6 (from AUTOMATE) from pictures indicated in Bridge. If I want to make another contact sheet I need to shut down and restart CS6.
- Camera RAW: if I change any setting in Camera RAW (except exposure), having first optimized the exposure, the exposure will automatically return to zero. Sometimes when I've set exposure and cropped the picture in Camera RAW Plug-In, the effects are lost just by opening the picture in CS6.
- Sometimes if I crop a picture in Camera RAW, it may be impossible to open it again from Bridge!
- I cannot do lens corrections in Camera RAW, at all. The Camera RAW comment is that "it cannot load the correct lens type". Why?Are you writing that when you select a large number of images in the bridge like a hundred thumbnails when you then use Bridge menu Tools>Photoshop>Contact Sheet II that Photoshop only produces a single contact sheet for the first few thumbnails and fails to produce additional contact sheets for the other selected thumbnails? Photoshop contact sheet II script should create as many contact sheet as needed for the numbers of thumbnails selected. Perhaps the script is hung or you have exhausted your machine resources.
ACR Crop tool does not crop the RAW file it records crop settings to be used during the conversion process. Camera RAW DATA is not altered. The only changes made to RAW Files is ACR Metadata may be added. Anything you do in ACR can be un-done in ACR. If you can not open a RAW File in ACR the Files is either corrupt or from a new camera ACR does not support yet. ACR should not corrupt RAW files.
If you do not have a lens profile for ACR I think you should still be able to do lens correction manually in ACR.
Some of what you write I don't follow could you post some screen captures of your problems often a picture helps. -

ThanksHave you paired your Apple Tv with your iTunes account? That's how rentals and purchases are billed. If, however, you have already done that it is possible that there is a glitch in the system. I've had that happen occasionally and it usually goes away if I reset Apple Tv. On one occasion that I didn't work so I had to go to iTunes and deauthorize and then authorize this computer. Also, check to see if your Home Sharing is on (under File in iTunes). Hope that helps.

EA Games ran a great promotion over the holidays that offered free iphone/ipod and ipad games. I won a few but have not been able to access the games due a weird bug. Everytime I attempt to redeem the code on my iphone in the app store or via Itunes app a pop-up appears "before you can make purchases, you must tap Continue to sign in, then verify your payment info." I'd happily click the continue button if there was one. But there isn't. I click on for the pop-up to move on and I'm back at the screen that asks me to redeem. Which I do and the pop-up returns. I'm fully logged in my payment method works for other app purchases or updates but not these EA codes. A prompt comes up on my TV screen when I try and purchase a movie "before you can make any purchases you must go to Itunes store on your computer and verify your account information". Have tried to do this to no avail - all my purchase and address details
it is a problem with the latest update. nothing you can do will fix it, besides rolling your apple tv back to the last update.

Latest version of OnyX 2.4.7 wiped Out all my Bluetooth devices
