HT3152 What's the solution for people running Mavericks that need to send faxes?
Apple used to sell a USB Fax/Modem that worked great... until Lion.
Is there a replacement part?
Not that I've heard of (although there are some third party external fax modems available). However, if you have an AIO printer that supports faxing, you can fax - either via the printer's touch screen or, depending on model, you may be able to control it from the Mac.
Or, there are online fax services.

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh. -

From my perspective, it is a bit like asking "what is the difference between a welding torch and a toaster? They both can make toast?" Which is true, but only one can weld steel (and in turn is considerably over the top for just making plain toast).
An iPod Touch and an iPhone may be quite similar in some respects, but at the same time, their differences are drastic, as one can do valuable things that the other is simply incapable of. -

Part of it may be something in the battery reporting software.
I got my first wireless Apple KB with a new iMac last November (2011) and, disliking the abbreviated design for desktop use, bought a wired board for the iMac and appointed the wireless to be the travel keyboard for my MacBook Pro. I used it on a routine basis and the battery level stayed at 100 percent until June, when it suddenly read 50 percent. Today it's still 50 percent. Makes absolutely no sense but it works.
It's been on most of the time, including a couple of trips when I failed to turn it off and it was running in my backpack for days. It still ahs the batteries Apple shipped with it.
My Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse, on the other hand, showed normal battery decay over time when connected to the same computer
If the keyboard stops working, that's one thing but, if you are seeing odd percentage reports and the thing still works, just keep using it until it dies. A couple of spares in the computer bag take very little space.
I've not seen a battery calibration feature mentioned for input devices like we have for the "smart" batteries in notebook Macs. -

I am using ipad 2 Wifi + 3G 64 GB, I had updated my ipad from ios 4.1.3 to ios 7.0.1 three week ago.
After that All aplication and all file can be opened properly well.
The problem came after I updated Keynote, Pages & Numbers, all files could not be opened & all file name is change from alphabetical to numerical. All file content 2 type of file, 1 BuildVersionHistory and the other one is index.
if i open the file ... spreadsheet can't be imported... the file format is invalid
or in Pages...
document can't be imported... the file format is invalid...
If I want to share that document via icloud ... Can't Send Spreadsheet.. To send this spreadsheet, open it in Numbers for iOS first.
In other case... I create a new file in Pages, Numbers or Keynote.. but all the new files can't view in Tab Apps when my ipad is connected to my mac pro via iTunes. If I create a file using other aplication (example using DocToGo), a new file that is created can be seen directly in iTunes Tab Apps DocToGo.
in this morning when i open Numbers all my files are disappear including new file without the reason at all, please give me the best solution. I need your help very very urgent.... since my working datas is very very important.

AsdansThere may well be circumstances where documents in the cloud doesn't work for some people.
I myself have projects like you do, however our circumstances may be different or I may simply organise myself in a different way.
I tend to use documents in the cloud for working documents in progress, once they are completed they are then filed away in a more appropriate location. I do not try to use documents in the cloud for syncing my entire work history. -
What is the solution for a "blue screen" on my 2009 OSX macbook.
I recieved what was the apparent "blue screen of death" in my 2009 OSX box. I tried unsuccessfully to fix the issue (while also replacing the RAM, probably could have been more scientific) and then eventually my wife decided I had no idea what I was doing. She then took the laptop to the Apple store and spent $200+ on a "new harddrive". This was great but didn't solve the problem want to know what the solution really was?!?!? Wait for my Answer.
The answer is to make sure they really "reformated" the harddrive. The drive was fine after using the secure reformat in disk utility. I wasted $200 because they "imaged" the disk and with it all the "corrupt" user files.
Seriously Apple, you have the records prove me wrong.

I am from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Recently, i have bought my iPhone5 from AbuDhabi (UAE) by a friend of mine.Now the problem is i cant purchase any of the paid application from apple store. Each time i attempt to buy an application, they said i have to use a USA source of fund.
I am a web designer and i use my friend's paypal account by which i maanage all of my online operations. My country doesn't support paypal payment. Not even credit card to be used online. So when i am trying to buy any apps via my friend's paypal account, they say that i have use a USA based fund source.
Just wondering whats the solution of this problem? How may i get a USA based funding source? Can anybody help me plz?

Yes your answer is logical. but i dont see Bangladesh is listed when i am going to apps store. strange.........Apple is supporting Bengali language on iPhone/iPad, then why not apps store? also, while opening an apple id, i had to use USA billing address. cz my country wasnt listed there. Having a lot of trouble after spending this money on this phone.

First try to clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If that doesn't help then please can you test in Firefox's safe mode to see if the problem still occurs?

If the problem doesn't occur in Safe Mode then continue to follow the instructions to find the setting or add-on that is causing the problem.
If the problem does occur in Safe Mode then I suggest doing a Firefox Reset. This will return Firefox to default settings. Your bookmarks, history etc will be saved but you will need to reinstall your addons.
