    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I've also used 2 different USB connections (wires) & none of this has done the job. Help please.

  • I can't get my ipod touch to sync since downloading latest iTunes update

It says "Sync In Progress" on the ipod screen and within itunes, but the sync never completes. What can I do to fix this?

Well, first you should [Restore|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414] your iPod Touch, if the problem persist, try uninstalling iTunes and installing it back. If however you can't solve the problem, try going back to the previous version of iTunes [8.0.2|http://itunes.en.softonic.com/download-version/itunes-8.0.2].
    Hope this helps,
    Darie.

  • I can't get my ipod touch to sync to itunes in my new computer

I've recently purchased a new computer, and installed itunes onto it. I've plugged in my ipod touch and itunes does not respond to it at all. no sync options, or anything. please help.

Before you do sync, copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.  Otherwise on the initial sync it WILL wipe the content of the iPod and replace it with the blank library from the new computer.
