I purchased a video off itunes, but can not watch it. I tried to download in SD, but can't seem to watch that either, can I just get a refund.
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

I am trying to update the software on my Mac Book Pro and i keep getting an error message.
You can run software update, write down the names of the upates and versions. Set your Safari preferences, save downloads to desktop, if in the dropdown window desktop is not available, click other and select desktop from the column on the left.

Click Update your software, things are probably on overload today.
This should download the installer to your desktop. Double click it and follow the prompts.

Downloading from torrent sites is not necessarily safe - some sites include additions to the things you download. The point is: when something is free which costs money elsewhere, it may not be safe.
Personally, I would delete the video and make sure my system is still working correctly. -

Thanks John for the suggestion. I was finally able to dwonload the newest drivers today when I signed on. Seems like if you let one day go by Software Update will look at your version of the driver and will finally let you download the newest. That did not help. Nothing but communication errors. It would not even let me load the the new driver as it would no longer ever see the printer.
Yesterday, for further explanation, I was working at the computer when I heard the printer chime a few times. When I looked over the green light, which normally signals it is receiving a file to print, was flashing away. I was doing nothing and I finally had to turn it off. I spoke with another techie friend who is a big Mac user and has the same printer and he suggested it may be the USB circuit. This printer has been on for 5 years with a few days off. We have concluded the circuits are past their useful life and I will soon send the printer to be recycled somewhere. A new printer is on the way as I need this device.
Again, thank you for your suggestion and I will mark this solved due to mechanical failure. -

We want to give our students a good viewing experience for our videos so we'd like to give them playback controls. BUT, we need them to watch the entire video without being able to skip ahead. An ideal situation would allow the user to move to any point in the video, just as long as they have already viewed that portion of the video. Make sense? The only option we have to make sure they are watching the video, is to take away their playback controls.

JesseThink about it. How does taking away their ability to NAVIGATE prove the learner actually WATCHED the video? They could still easily go do something else while the video is playing. Does this somewhat draconian 'state' of which you speak also mandate that someone is present when the student is forced to watch this entire video to verify their compliance?
This whole approach is futile. Get the person to tick a box either at the end of the slide or on the next slide requiring them to verify they DID watch the video in its entirety. If they choose to lie, it's on their adult head. -

For the past few days, I suddenly can't watch any YouTube videos in Firefox without having the video driver crash every few seconds. The screen freezes too, and I have a hard time getting my cursor to the "X" to close the tab. One time it was so bad my computer crashed and rebooted.
I am able to watch the same videos in Internet Explorer 8 without any problems. I am also able, as far as I know, to watch videos in Firefox on other sites like CNN.com without any problems.
My computer information below looks correct. It's a Gateway Model#MX6453, my video driver is an ATI Radeon Xpress 1150.I fixed this by disabling hardware acceleration. YouTube videos seem to work fine now.

I had to go to a site other than YouTube that had flash content (like a video on CNN.com), right-clicked on the flash video, selected "Settings" on the menu, then unchecked "Enable hardware acceleration" on the display tab. For good measure I closed Firefox and opened it again. Since then no more driver errors. (crosses fingers) -

I am not able to sign off from the mac,when I try the mac says my mail program will not allow it,when I try to sign out of mail,I am not able to highlight and click (quit mail.) I have read and watched the mail video's but have not fixed it. If possible could someone who has had this issue share the solution they came up with to address the problem with me please? Have you turned up the volume?
Try the buttons, or the bottom audio slider.
Does your phone normally play audio?
And have you tried to record and audio note to check if your microphone is not faulty. -
I can't watch YouTube videos on my brand new MacBook Pro with Lion. It says I need to download Adobe Flash Player but that won't install. Help!
The same thing happens to me, Safari asks me to update the Adobe FlasPlayer, I download, start the installation process, ask me my username and password in order to install, then see a window where I choose if I want to always install the updates , or ask first, or not inslate updates, and at this point it is not progress, I can not cancel the process, I turn off and turn on my machine.
What can I do ..??
