HT3209 purchased HD video by accident but want to download SD video
I purchased an HD video from itunes but wanted to download the SD video. The HD download is extremely long. I tried purchasing the SD video version but itunes says that I have already purchased it, even though it is the HD version. Is there any thing I can do outside of waiting for the HD to finish downloading?

Where are you, you only have a movie section under purchased in the US. Are you sure that the movie that you purchased has an ST version.

This is really frustrating -
Over the last year I have been uploading all of my photos and occasional iPhone video to Aperture 3 (latest version all patches in place). Aperture would recognize the video, create a thumbnale and otherwise treat it nicely.
Now, since upgrading to Lion I find that though I can "see" the old videos in their folders or projects and the associated Thunbnale, I can't play them - I either get the spinning color wheel and then nothing or Aperture will crash and report an error relating to Quicktime (sorry don't have an error code at the moment).
If I try and export a video I can - but what I get also can't be played by Quicktime - just a black screen. When I hit Play - the scroll bar moves, but there is no sound or video.
From Final Cut Pro X, I can imoprt this exported video file and see that it appears complete - but FCPX uses it's own playback elements.
If I shoot a new video on my iPhone, I find that I can see the thumbnale in the import option of Aperture when looking at the phone, but once imported I get a Popup telling me that it is an "Unsupported Video Format" - "Do you want to open this video clip with QuickTIme Player?" If I hit Open then the clip does play, but the thumbnale remains a black square with the warning Exclamation Point.
I have also had some issues with Lion Mail crashing when trying to play a video made on an iPhone and sent to me via email. Seems more likley to be a Lion / Quicktime issue then an Aperture and Mail issue - but who knows.
I spent 2.5 hours of quality time with the Genius bar this morning. We reinstalled Lion and after that the suggestion was to trash and re-install Aperture, but that would require my disc and of coruse a trip home. Mail doesn't seem to still have the issues with iPhone movies that it had - but Aperture is still not happy.
Did as instructed and dragged Aperture 3 to the trash, did the empty trash option, restarted and reinstalled. Then did a software update to catch the new update for Aperture and it found that. Interestingly when I did start it up after that it DID NOT ask me for my key - so clearly some elements were left over.
Now upon retstarting Aperture 3 once again I find that I can still see my old movies (their thumbnails show up) but I still can't play them. The new test movie is there but still generates the popup regarding it being an Unsupported Video Format.
And it's not just my iPhone. Video sent via email from another iPhone can play as an attachment, or when dragged and dropped to the desktop, but once imported into Aperture is once again proclaimed to be an Unsupported Video Format.
Hoping someone out there knows how to resolve this....For some reason it just started to work now. Have no idea what didn't work before.

When you go to import your .mts file into Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 and you cannot, do you see this type of message only where your specific file
would be named as not support

Are up looking for your file in the space to the right and wanting to drag it to the Timeline, but you see the thumbnail
with the two arrows on page as seen in panasonic_lumix_dmc_ thumbnail in screenshot below.
But, that has two arrows, one red and the other green. And, you wrote that your two arrows were red.
Or something else other than what is shown above.
If it is as represented in the second screenshot, it is likely that you moved, deleted, or rename that file once it was imported
at another time into the Elements Organizer. In that case, we need to reconnect the file to the project. More on that later
once you supply the above details.

If you just want to view Flash material on the web, you should try a different browser like Skyfire or Puffin.

Hey live in us but wanting to download an album on iTunes, but they only have in Ireland iTunes Store. What's a way to get this album short of moving to Ireland and setting up a bank account?
You can try requesting that it be added to the US store, but ultimately it's the record company that will have to grant Apple a license to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

I purchased Acrobat 9 Standard and I want to download and install it. I have the serial number. My computer is a PC.
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

I would be eager to download the complete album I purchased as well. I found a couple of resources that might help with downloading this purchase.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted. You can use the steps in this article:

If the remaining songs do not download after following the steps in that article, I recommend trying to download the songs from your list of past purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the movie, you will not be charged again. You can find the steps to do this in the following articles:

You connect the iPhone to the computer, just like you would a digital camera and import the file to the computer. Depending on the OS of the computer (Mac vs. Windows) use whatever you use to import pictures from your digital camera and you are good to go.

I use my camera for video and photos. When I download my videos to my ipad1 using the camera connection kit, they will not play.

I haven't tried videos on my camera yet. Do you use the Videos App to play them? I don't think they will play in the Photos App.
If yours are in a format that is not in Vazandrew's list, you may need to sync them to your computer and convert them to M4V or MP4 format. You can use a program like HandBrake to do the conversion. <HandBrake> Once converted, you can sync them back to the iPad and they should play.
This may not meet your needs, but the alternative appears to be getting a different camera. I don't know of another Video App that might work.

I have just purchased an old macbook with an OS of 10.5. Im trying to download lightroom 4 but won't let me because of the OS (needs 10.7), when I tried to purchase the updated OS, it said I need 10.6 to do so!! I just want to download lightroom (3 or 4 preferabley). How do I go about doing so?

Silly Apple, you can't even buy Lion/10.7 anymore, onlt ML/10.8 after you get SL/10.6!???
You need to get 10.6 & update to 10.6.8 first to be able to buy it from the App Store & download it.

I recently got an Apple TV, I purchased a movie on it using the same iTunes account as on my ipad. I purchased a movie on my Apple TV. But I wanted to downloaded it to my ipad, but what I click on the movie the only option I get is to watch, not download to my ipad. What is going on?

You can move the rental between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period. However, the movie can only be played on one device at a time. If you rent a movie on an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV, it is not transferable to any other device and you must watch it on that device.
Probably not what you wanted to see, but there it is. I believe this is tied to the liscensing agreements with the studios.
