Why is it that when I delete an email message from an account on my iPhone it instantly disappears from the same email account on my wife's iPhone? We both have iOS7 and have imap email accounts.
not all mail providers sync the send mail part of the mail box
you can try to contact yahoo if this is the case with them

Because you set both of them up using the same Apple ID for the iCloud account. Don't do that. You should each have your own iCloud account, even if you want to share an Apple ID for apps and music. Odds are, you are both receiving iMessages intended for the other as well.

Why is it that when I delete a song off my 4th generation I touch it will not allow me to add it again. I manage my music manually (no syncing). I can add a new song, but as soon as I delete it on my I touch, I can't put it back on.
I never heard of that problem before. I I can suggest is the stand fixes:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

When I first imported music from my CDs onto my iTunes library, all the songs appeared, but those with the album artist and guest/additional artists they appeared in their own album under the same album name. After searching through iTunes help and support, I learned how to put all the songs under the same album (part of a compalition) and add the additional songs information, artwork, lyrics, etc. After getting all the music (imported from my CDs) onto the iTunes library and in their album. I synced my music onto my iPhone. (My iPhone is a 3GS)
Once the music was on my iPhone i noticed that the albums appeared in 2s again. One was the complete album with all the songs, song info, etc. together (solo tracks and/or one with multiple artists) and another album of the same name, artwork, etc. with 2-4 of the songs from that album. Since all I saw need for was to have the completed album on my iPhone, I deleted the album with only 2-4 of the songs. When I went back and selected the completed album, all the songs I had deleted from the incomplete album were also deleted from the completed album too! I just couldn't figure out why it did that and my my friends with iPods and iPhones said they didn't know what caused it either. So now I'm here with the idea how to fix this problem.
If anyone has a solution to this problem, please reply. It will be greatly appreciated.I'm not sure why this happens, but I found a workaround. Below the album title it will list the artist(s). The issue seems to happen when there are multiple artists. For example, an Album titled "Over the Sea to Skye" has The Chieftains and James Galway as artists. Some tracks (for whatever reason) will list only one of these and result in the playlist showing what appears to be multiple albums. You can click on the artists and it will highlight. Paste in what is appearing on the other "albums" and it will then show as one:
Hope that is somewhat clear enough to help. Doesn't fix whatever the issue is but it is a workaround. For me this is only happening with CD's that I have imported. -

Hallo , my question is ;whenever I delete a photo and restore it through Time machine and Western digital external hard drive , I am able to restore the photo but not the titles and descriptions . Western Digital inform me that it isn't their external hard drive problem and suggest that it is an Apple software problem ?
I am using a Macbook 4.1 , with Mac OSX 10.5.8 . I photo 7.1.5 , last modifie4d 01/05/2010 -universal . Should I be upgrading Iphoto ?
I hope that someone is able to help in this matter , as i have to restore 12000 photos !

I am not quite ready to restore the full iphoto library , as I have days of work re - imputting titles,descriptions and enhancement . I hope that your suggestion works , as I use my Macbook basically to work with digital photography. Through time , I will need to delete my library to recover more disc space and I would hate to have to spend more time re - imputting titles and descriptions all over again .

I Enjoyed the convenience of the photo stream because it allowed me to keep my photos organized. What was on my device was separate from what was in the photo stream. Now, it seems whenever I delete a photo from my device, it also disappears from the photo stream. How do I stop or change this?
If you disable iCloud Photo Library (Beta) you will be able to see the Photo Stream and the Camera Roll Album again as separate albums in the Album tab. If you delete photos from the Camera Roll Album, the photo should stay in the Photo Stream.

I have 2 iPhones, a new 5c and 4s. I use them both but only have one associated with my iTunes account. Can I use the account for both of my phones? If so can I set my account to only sync certain things on each phone? For instance, my new iPhone 5c I want to back up, my old iPhone 4s I don't, I just want to be able to access my music when I'm using it.
Yes, both can be on the same Apple ID.

Because you're using the Migration Assistant, and it can't migrate data to an existing user account. Transfer everything at once or use a different method.

Why is it that when I delete my mail it cannot be sent to the trash?
I just set up my existing email account on my iPhone, but when I try to delete messages in my inbox, it reads "The message could not be moved to the mailbox Trash". Any ideas why this happens?
What kind of email account is it? Gmail? Yahoo? MSN?
There's likely a mis-entered piece of information in your mail settings.
Go Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>choose the account you're having issues with>Account, and the issue will likely be on this page, or under "Outgoing Mail Server"
It's difficult to say where the problem is coming from without knowing your exact IMAP settings and smtp inputs. -

The iphone is not a storage/backup device.
You need to copy everything from the old computer, or backup copy of the old computer, to the new one. -
I have home share turned on and have a desktop for the main acct and a laptop and an I-phone. I purchased music on my Iphone and can't figure out how to get it onto move the desktop or laptop. It's very frustrating because I don't understand some of the I-tunes terminology and I have read through it all and did what sounds right but still no success!! Grrrrr.....I feel like I need someone to walk me through it!

I have just bought an iPad. I have already got an iPod and my wife has an iPhone 3. We use the same iTunes account. I am receiving text messages which people are sending to my wife's phone on my iPad. Could you please advise how I can stop that happening. Thank you.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud too.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photostream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
You need to create a new account for either yourself or your wife, you can choose whether to use this account for iCloud and therefore keep your personal data such as the contacts etc separate, you can continue to use the account you are both using for iTunes so that you may share the content you have already purchased, but each use your own account for iMessage which will stop you receiving each other's messages. -
I keep getting the same emails twice, after I've deleted from device and read on desktop!
While at work, I usually read my email on my computer, but I still get them on my BB, which I delete right away. However, even after it's already been read on my computer and deleted from my Curve, I end up with another alert for the same email, and the email as unread in my Curve inbox.
How can I make that STOP? I don't need to be told more than once that I have a new email, and even less so if I've already read it!is the email imap, pop, owa/exchange?

It is easier for me to clean up my phone on the phone itself and not on the computer.

No. It will only be Deleted on the Device you are Deleting it from.

My family and I recently got iPhones for Christmas. One for my dad, one for my mom, and one for me. We also have an iPad 2. They are all hooked up to iCloud via one username. When we got the phones, we had trouble transferring our contacts from our old verizon phones to our new apple ones but we eventually got the contacts we needed. At first, my mom's phone was not connected to the iCloud account shared by the rest of us and the iPad. She wanted the calendar from the iPad so I deleted the account on her phone and added the iCloud account that the iPad was using. All was fine until my dad and I realized that our contacts were wiped from our phones and replaced with my mom's. I then started painstakingly deleted my moms contacts and replacing them on my own on my phone. However, contacts were being deleted from my mom and dad's phone at the same time. It's almost like the three phones are constantly synching with each other. It would be ideal if we could get all of our contacts back the way they were before my mom changed her account but we would settle for this constant synching to stop. Please give us some direction here, we are new to this. Thanks in advance!

Because, as you said "They are all hooked up to iCloud via one username. ". That is exactly what iCloud does.
You need independent iCloud accounts for each person to maintain independent contact lists.
