My Macbook running Mountain Lion has not been able to back up for several weeks. The error box says that ".sparsebundle is already in use". what is this and how do I get past this?

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

FYI: Some third party software can cause issues with the App Store > Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text
Apple is not responsible for incompatibility isssues with third party software.

Excellent apple networking on Lion or ML is usually the issue.
Reboot the TC.. if that don't fix it.. reboot the whole network.. modem.. router.. TC.. clients.. restart in that order.
There are tools.. download the real tool if you have lion..
For ML you are stuck with toyland.. AU 6.1 .. good luck with the plastic hammer.

You will need to restore it. The sidebar of your iPad appears on itunes even if you dont enter the passcode. There's the option to restore it. More info:

You will need to restore it. It may not sync, but the iPad's sidebar has to appear you can restore it and it will be as the last time ou synced it to iTunes. For more info:

If you have tried the fixes in Pondini's Time Machine Troublshooting, specifically #C12 and nothing helps, then it is time to let one of the genius types at an Apple Store take a look.

Why is the IPhone creating additional "calendars"? I only asked for one to be set-up. I don't understand, I have to go into the calendar settings daily and uncheck these un-asked for calendars. Help!

Mine is doing the same thing. I deleted the whole account from the mail settings and it got rid of most of the extra calendars. But there are still 2 gibberish ones left.

Often, this error can be corrected by pulling the power on the Time Capsule, waiting a few minutes, and powering the Time Capsule back up.

Disconnect the power from your backup device, wait two minutes, then reconnect the power. This usually solves the problem.
