its been few days i keep recieving a message saying:
TIME MACHINE COULDNT COMPLETE THE BACKUP TO TC.
The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data/Krzysztof’s MacBook Air.sparsebundle” is already in use.
what shall i do?

Hi folks - I didn't see my issue answered here, so I thought I would just toss it out there in case anyone had advice.

How to resolve the following time capsule error message:
The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data/XXXX Computer.sparsebundle” is already in use.If you are running Mountain Lion try this:
Open AirPort Utility (If you are in Mountain Lion this will be 6.0 or Higher)
Select you Time Capsule
Select the Disk Tab
Deselect "Enable File Sharing"
Click OK Let the Time Capsule Re-Boot
Go Back into AirPort Utility and re-select "Enable File Sharing" and let it Re-Boot again.
This should fix the problem.
If you are not running Mountain Lion the advice provided by other should work (http://pondini.org/TM/C12.html). The main thing is to reset users. -
The auto backup to my time machine has developed a glitch which prevents the backing up of the iMac. The message is as follows:

It means that there are bugs in Lion and Mountain Lion.
Pull the power cord from the back of the Time Capsule
Count to 10
Plug the power cord back in to the back of the Time Capsule
This simple reset will fix the issue about 98% of the time. If you are in the 2% category, you will need more "fixes"

You have two different issues. One is a problem with your printer and one is a Time Machine problem. You'll need to contact your printer support to find out why your printer is not working.

In Finder's Menu, select Go menu>Go to Folder, and go to "/volumes". (no quotes)
Volumes is where an alias to your hard drive ("/" at boot) is placed at startup, and where all the "mount points" for auxiliary drives are created for you to access them. This folder is normally hidden from view.
Drives with an extra 1 on the end have a side-effect of mounting a drive with the same name as the system already think exists. Try trashing the duplicates with a 1 or 2 if there are no real files in them, and reboot.

Open the Sharing preference pane and check that the computer name hasn't changed without your knowledge. For example, if the name was "X's iMac," it might now be "X's iMac (2)". In that case, restore the original name. You may have to click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the preference pane to unlock the settings. Test. If there's no improvement, or if the name had not been changed, continue.
2. If you're backing up to a Time Capsule, or an AirDisk attached to a 2013 or later model AirPort Extreme base station, restart it in either of the following ways:
☞ Disconnect and reconnect the power adapter.
☞ Select the device in the AirPort Utility application and then select
Base Station ▹ Restart
from the menu bar.
If AirPort Utility notifies you of a firmware update, install it.
