I am new to Mac world and i do alot of filming my childrens sporting events. I have a Sony DCR DVD92 NTSC Handycam. Please let me know if i can download to IMovie and if there is a place to walk me through the process?

If your posted Mac OS X (10.2.x) information is correct, your iMovie software may be so old that this will not work, but here is Sony's help on importing from your DCR-DVD92:

See if the cam shows up under Devices in the Image Capture app.
Image Capture is located in your Applications folder.
Launch Image Capture then connect the camera.
The camera should show up under Devices top left side of the Image Capture window.
Now look at the bottom left side of the window. Click the: Connecting this (device) opens: pop up menu and select an application to import your photos.
You can also select a folder to import photos from the Import To: pop up menu.
Selet the photos you want to import then click Import or Import All on the right.

Hello, I also have a Sony Handycam; trying to download movies to the my Mac Book Pro 15" was very a very slow process but it is possible. Then I tried to download the movies into an external hard drive (my computer's memory got filled really fast) and from that just work from iMove but after searching through Sony's website I read it is necessary to acquire a transference cable to improve this process.

I have a couple of questions. I down loaded a movie when I was not hooked up to wifi or connected to my laptop. I was charged for the movie but I have not been able to down load it or find it anywhere in my account.

yes it could well do if your bank thinks there is something going on that is not from you they will block it. I have had this problem before, I would of thought they would of phoned me but they don't do that.
If I was you I would go to my bank make sure they are not doing anything like that. If they say it's all fine then i would phone up apple them self or go into my local apple store, as they should be able to look at what there servers are saying why it's not working.

If you mean the listing of internet streams that seems to have disappeared for many users of older iTunes versions over week ago. Probably some update at Apple broke older versions. No idea if it will ever come back but you can open stream URLs you find on the web and save them in playlists.

Yes. But make sure you buy it at an Apple Store. Other stores selling SIM free iPhones will sell those that will usually lock to the carrier whose SIM is used to first activate the phone. Then you will be stuck.

HT5278 I have yet to be able to update my iPad 2 it comes up eith a un designated error every time, I was not able to down load it either on my pc using iTunes.

Log out of the iTunes Store on your device:
Settings>iTunes & App Store...tap your Apple ID, then select "Sign Out"
Reset your device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

I have a Sony CDP-CX335. The door will not open and the turntable inside will not move

Can someone please help me trouble shoot this issue. I have disconnected the power and turned back on, I have held the eject button for a minute+ with the unit on and off. The door still will not open automatically and the turntable inside will not move. There are no dics inside. When turned on the light flashes inside.

I have multiple computers and iPhones and now iTunes will not allow my wife to load applications or use her own iTunes playlists. How can I setup each device for each user correctly?

We have multiple computers and iPhone devices which I have passed on to other family members, such as my wife. Now she is not able to load apps to her devices, eventhough it appear she is logged into her own iTunes account. How can I setup iTunes correctly on each device? Currently, there is one PC and one Mac laptop and we each have iPhones, with one other family member not able to use his 'passed-down' device for iTunes, also.
