  • Can't select express shipping

I have been trying to order a book through aperture so that I can make sure it is received by xmas. The website deadline says that if I order it today I need to use express shipping to get it there in time. The problem is that the drop down menu lets me select the express option, but the order summary will not update. I tried to go forward, but my order went through with standard selected!! I canceled the order and have been trying again, but the same thing is happening.
Anyone else having this problem? I have been working with someone on AppleCare that is trying hard to help me out, but I am worried we won't find a solution.....

I got ahold of someone at AppleCare - call them for a case number and email address so that they can update your order to express. Not sure what time they close on sunday though.....

Does anyone have working setup with "Communications Express Address Book" provider from PS 6.3.1 ? I'm having a problem to get it to connect to UWC address book in my JES3 test installation. All other connections to "old" address book, "old" and uwc-type mail, calendar, IM are working fine.

  • Express Ship Interface (XSI)

I've installed Business Connector and was able to successfully config UPS as an XSI Carrier.  After loading all master data, I can see that all the META data is loaded into transaction VTRC for UPS.  However, I'm not to sure how XSI will assign a carrier specific tracking number for each handling unit.  I've created a number range object call ZTRACKING and clicked the "Request Number Range" button with in VTRC.  However, when I create a delivery, no tracking number is assigned to the HU.  Also, where do you set the service (ex/ UPS Ground, etc.)?  Can someone please explain how XSI works (What calls are made to the carrier and at what time)?
    Thank you,

Can you help me out in configuring Express Ship Interface .I am very new to it and i guess you have worked on.Please respond ASAP.

  • XSI (Express Shipping Interface)

I've heard and read many different things about XSI - the express shipping interface - and I have some questions.
    1.  Do we need a carrier manifesting system to use XSI with SAP?   (For example, if we use carrier UPS, do we need a Worldship system? If we use carrier Fedex, do we need a Fedex server? )
    2.  XSI is an Interface, it's in the name - what does XSI interface <u><b>with</b></u>?
    3.  Is Fedex really available through XSI?  Fedex doesn't promote XSI like UPS does. Is other middleware required to ship Fedex parcels through XSI?  (I've read several different answers on this, on these forums.)
    4.  How big a role do IDOCs play in XSI ?   (Can a tracking number be assigned real-time, or is IDOC-time as fast as it gets?   Does any printing happen through IDOCs?  Does all printing happen through SAP handling-unit outputs?)
    5.  What is SAP's future direction on express shipping? (Will XSI be continued or expanded?  Will express shipping be handled through xCarrier in the future?)
    6.  Could someone walk me through the process?  1. create a HU, 2. pack the HU, then what?  How does the XSI interface assign the tracking number?   How does the label print?  When/how is the tracking number updated in the SAP delivery/parcel tracking?  When/how are electronic/end-of-day transactions sent to the carrier?
    7. Is there any way when using XSI to enable an interface to a scale, to automatically receive the package weight from the device?
    8.  Printing and barcodes - what are XSI restrictions?   Are SSCC-18 barcodes supported?  What about RFID ?
    Thanks much for your help,
Maureen Farrell    (<i>I do have XSI technical documentation.zip</i>)

Visited another pharma company and heard these answers -
XSI has no functionality without a parcel application to interface <u>with</u> .  XSI doesn't assign tracking numbers or service levels.
Through use of the XSI interface, tracking numbers and package status can be made visible in the SAP delivery.
If you use only one carrier, or an XSI-enabled multi-carrier system, you'll need one XSI interface.  More than one carrier, more than one interface.
Next year SAP may possibly introduce xCarrier, but schedule/features/relationship to XSI) are not clear to me.
If anyone has heard differently, I would appreciate hearing about it.

  • Importing Windows Outlook Express address book

    Hello
I have been trying to import an Outlook Express address book (which is stored on a DVD) to MS Entourage with not much luck
I can't seem to find an 'option' to import an external address book.
The only options available seem to be to import Entourage docs/archives etc.
    Can anyone help?

I've been looking into this myself and there are a number of possibilities. You can't just import an address book but importing all your contacts can be done. Search discussions here for the topic (the Mail and Address Book forum has stuff on getting contacts out of Outlook) and also Google the web, there are several threads elsewhere. There are even shareware utilities to help.
Also look under Mac 101: Shifting From PC in the Support section here. Apple has a little bit to say on it, although not terribly helpful to me.

  • How Do I Import Outlook Express Address Book?

I have a PC running WXP using Outlook Express as a mail client. And, I have a MAC that I'm trying to get email set up on. I'm trying to get completely off WXP as a home computing environment. Accordingly, I'd like to import the Outlook Express address book from the PC into Address Book on the MAC so I don't have to re-key all those entries. But, I guess I'm not entering the correct magic words, because I haven't been able to find anywhere online exactly how to do this. The Address Book application implies that it can import a csv file, but I can't find out what the format of the CSV file is supposed to be. I exported the OE Address book to a WAB file on my WXP system, and mounted that disk to MAC, and I can see the file, but there doesn't seem to be any way to import it.
I can create a CSV file fairly easily in Windows if I know the format MAC address Book expects it to be in so I can import it.
So, I need a clue. I'm surprised to find out how difficult this seems to be, given the general user-friendliness of the Apple environment, and that no one else seems to have had the problem.

Haven't done this yet but when I was getting my new iMac, we googled it at the Apple store and saw a link to advice on how to do this through Mozilla - apparently you have to transfer it to Mozilla first and then to the Mac. Hope this helps.
And btw, any other new converts having trouble with their new iMac's freezing up? Here I was all ready to be part of the Apple Army and loved it for the first few days -- only to have it freeze on me so often that I'm ready to bring this lemon back to the store.

  • Transfering Outlook Express Address Book to OS X mail

    Hi Folks,
Have finally made the leap from OS 9 to OS X.
    That was the easy part.
Now, how to successfully tranfer my 700+items Outlook Express Address Book into OS X mail? I'm about at my wits end. I've thus far managed to transfer the lot of them into Microsoft 'entourage' X. Whew! I still can't figure out how to transfer them into the OS X email program. I need access to those names/email addresses ASAP. It's vital to my work. Help!
    Thanks much in advance.
    Namaskara,
    David M.

I'm a newbie, but I think this may work:
Since Mail uses the addresses stored in Mac's Address Book app, open AB. Go to File/Import and select LDIF as the type of file you wish to import. Locate and click on the OE address book filename in the window that appears. It is most probably located in the Documents folder. Highlight the filename and click Open. The contents of this file will now appear in AB, and will then be accessible from Mail.
Let us know if it works.

  • Outlook Express address book to Entourage

Changing from a PC to a MacBook Pro - Is there any way I can export my PC Outlook Express address book to my MacBook Pro? I am using Entourage and would like to have my address book exported rather than having to type everything. Is this possible or do I have a lot of typing to do?

've exported the address books into a variety of file types within the iMac: ldif, html, xls, (comma separated) rtf, txt and and none of those file types will import into either Entourage or Apple Mail on my G4. I've been racking my brain for weeks on this trying to find some conversion software or format to easily get these addresses into my Mail applications without having to tediously enter in each one by one.
Address Book (note that Address Book is the Apple utility for managing your contacts - Mail makes use of it) should be able to import either comma separated or tab separated text files. For the former the extension must be .csv and for the latter .txt.
Tab-separated (or delimited if you prefer) is often better, as addresses may have a comma in them.

  • Express shipping point

    Hello Gurus,
there is paragraph about shipping point:
"As each delivery is created via a shipping point, and each run of the
delivery due list is made with reference to a particular shipping point, you
may want to have an express shipping point. This way, you can run the due
list every half an hour for one shipping point only to create deliveries for
that particular plant. Likewise in the sales order, the user knows that if he
manually enters a specific express shipping point, he will have the delivery
created within half an hour. The remainder of the deliveries may be created
via the delivery due list in the normal processing run."
I want to know what is the express shipping point ? and how to make delivery run every half an hour for this express shipping point?  thanks very much!

    Hi
It is like a normal shipping point in all aspects but only dedicated for cash sales/rush orders. Since these orders determine this special Shipping point, periodically deliveries can be created, without making any delay in deliveries.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Move outlook express address book to outlook 2010

how do I move outlook express address book to outlook 2010 on a new HP computer.  The old computer had XP and Outlook Express 2004.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

Using WAB Converter you simply can move Outlook Express Address Book to Outlook 2010. Here I am sharing one website where you can download this tool directly and can solve this problem swiftly & correctly. It basically converts .wab files into .pst which subsequently can be import in Outlook 2010.
