Why iPhone not display call is waiting when i call some ones phone. And he/she is busy in another call. Where each n every phone has it.
Settings > Phone > Call Waiting > On.
Edit - what I provided is for when recieving a call when on another call.
I have never used any other cell phone with multiple carriers that provides this info.

IPhone 4S does not display call log. "Recents" blank.

Music on Iphone not displaying correctly
After syncing and made several new playlist, music on iphone only displays as album list. No list of songs,no playlist, no categories. Just album list. But when I connect it on iTunes, it shows the list of all my songs AND all the playlist I created.
This does not appear to be iPhone-specific. It is an issue with ActiveSync in general, as that KB document explains. This happens with any phone using ActiveSync.
A very hacky workaround is to choose the setting to automatically Bcc yourself on all sent messages, then set up a rule in Entourage to move messages from yourself to the Sent folder. -
IPhone not receiving calls, and receiving double texts
I have read through these forums, and searched this on google and haven't found a solution to this problem, or anybody with a similar issue.
Over the last two to three weeks, I have had many people telling me they'll call, and it won't go to voicemail, but instead it'll state that # is not reciving calls at the moment, my phone will be turned on and will never ring. Also along with that I'll have an issue where I am receiving double text messages from time to time, it'll happen at least 5 times a day.
I would take my phone to Apple, but as it'll be hard to produce these results at the genius bar I'm not sure they'll be able to do much, and my iP4 is out of warranty.
So far I've tried these things:
System Restore
Reset All Settings
Reset Network Settings
None of these work, the Restore will work for a day or two, but the issue will come back everytime.
Thanks for any help you all may be able to provide.Well another issue I've been having with the phone, which I forgot to mention that leads me to think it's a phone issue, is it'll keep locking up in apps, and the home button will become non-responsive. I'll have to use the standby button to put the phone to sleep, then wake it up and then the home button will start working again.
The issues may be seperate, but it seemed to all start happening at the same time. -
Unable to get new iphone 5c recognized as a device in itunes for syncing purposes. Backup from old phone made yesterday and now would like to sync new phone from that backup. Any advice appreciated.

yes if you enable backup on your new phone everything will be up to date.
Yes you can use the software to move music and message to your computer - you would need to add the music back to your iTunes media library.

I have a subscribed calendar on my iPhone. The today view in notification center shows that I have an event at xxxx and tomorrow view says I have x events but the calendar day view does not display any of the events. I need this so I can easily see which rooms my events are in. Dows anyone know how to make the subscribed calendar show up in calendar day view?
Interesting. May have uncovered a bug. It seems that limited duration events will display, but all day events wont on mine. (iPhone 5). Does that compare to what you are seeing (unfortunately, I have nothing in a subscribed calendar until the week end, so difficult to check. I do seem to recall seeing an event from one this past week end on the iPad, however).

Obviously you do not provide a cutrrency key for your values. If they are initial (zero), ALV will not display them as 0,00 but leave the field empty if the reference too currency key is not established.
If you define a DDIC structure for the ALV output this refernce is enforced. You can pass the DDIC structure name to the ALV and don not have to create the field catalog manually.

Call Type node not setting Call Type Dynamically By name.
I'm attempting to use the Call Type node to set a Call Type dynamically by name using the following logic:
concatenate("somestring_",userParseFromVXML("CT"),"_Q")
The userParseFromVXML is a custom function that works correctly and pulls my data out of FromExtVXML correctly. If I use a peripheral variable and use the same logic then set the Call Type node to set the call type dynamically by name using the peripheral variable it sets the call type correctly without any problems. I'm using UCCE 9.0.3 and I'm wondering if anyone else has run across this issue.I wish I'd known about the table function before myself.
This is what my experience is now after having tested these scenarios.

Passing now (not sure what i must have been missing)
The custom function I'm using returns a string and when I created a new custom function returning a String literal it worked just fine. After doing my testing and swapping back to my original custom function I started seeing the call tagged with the correct Call Type, so I can only assume that I was missing something in the original concatenate string. The custom function I am using is as follows:

I started the newest update on my iphone4 this morning and did a hard reset before it completed. Now my phone is locked, displaying the itunes and plug-in symbols. How do I get my phone back?
The iPhone is telling you it is in recovery mode. Connect it to your computer and restore in iTunes

However, I found something strange. I have 248 contacts listed in my phonebook but when I go to Settings -> Memory Details, it shows me 259 contacts. Why is there that discrepancy of 11?. I am using only Phone Memory for all my contacts.
I am also using Gravity and Nimbuzz. Are those apps the culprits?
What can I do to have this issue resolved?
Not sure..but are there any contacts stored on the SIM..(May be pre-installed by the Service provider..) -
IPhone not displaying my number to my contacts
When I call or text anyone from my iPhone my email address is displayed not my number. It happens with whoever I'm texting or calling.
Any ideas??
ToddI have found a solution to the problem of my number not being dispalyed properly. I now can see my number in itunes and at the top of the contacts and in the phone settings. It has something to do with the number being on the sim card, i went to my old (02) motorola KRZR mobile and went to my numbers with the o2 iphone sim installed, i saw that under my telephone numbers had no numbers listed, so i went to edit and added my iphone number. I now can see my telephone nmber listed where it should! I do think though that you cant just put the numbers on the sim (i tried that with a sim reader/writer) which didnt work, it has to be on the part of the sim which stores YOUR mobile number. I rang both apple support and o2 and neither of them were any help at all (see previous post)
Well this solution worked for me anyway.
