HT3529 Can't receive pictures sent by text message
I have an iPhone 4 and for some reason I cannot receive a picture when it is sent to me by text message from a friend who doesn't have an iPhone. PLEASE HELP!!
Is MMS turned on in settings?
Are you provisioned by your carrier to use MMS?

How can I save Pictures sent by text message
I have pictures in my text messages I want to save to my SD card, but there is no way to bring up a menu to save it!!! Does anyone know the trick?

1. Go to Text Messages view, threader veiw that shows the pic preview when its not opened.
2. Press and hold on Pic
3. Select Save from the list\
4. Now the pic should be saved in SD/Messages folder
EMAIL
1. Open Email
2. At top there should be the number and the words "View Attachments" - Click on View Attachments
3. Now you should have a list of attachments with a arrow next to it if not downloaded.
4. Click file you want to download and you should get a animation where the arrow was that is indicating its being downloaded.
5. Once the animation stops this means file has been downloaded to a temp file to be viewed.
6. Now Press and Hold on file text and a window should open with three options - VIEW - SAVE- and SHARE
7. Select Save from list
8. Once complete it will have a little message at bottom of page that says "File was downloaded to SD Card"
9. Now file will be saved in SD / Messages folder on SD Card. -

I am trying to figure out how to receive and send pictures in a text using my 3GS. Any suggestions?
ok you have to go into photos then tap the photo you want. in the bottom left hand cornor there will be a little box with an arrow coming out of it tap that you will see "email photo" MMs etc tap MMsthen chose a contact and press send. and that is how you send a picture and to recieve i think you just tap it

Cannot receive pictures sent through text
I was able to receive pictures sent through text up until two days ago. The first time I couldn't receive pictures I went to the hub settings -> display and actions --> turned on "download images automatically" and it worked.
Now I just get "You have a message awaiting retrieval. Click the button below to download it" i can click on "download now" 10 times and it won't do anything.

Because picture messages are sent via the MMS service, I would recommend contacting your wireless network provider to ensure they are not having any issues with MMS or your account in general.

Saving pictures sent in text message to centro album...
Can somebody help me? I'm fairly green to the whole computer & smartphone world... Let me apologize beforehand.
I'm looking for some assistance saving pictures sent to me as a text message to my centro album. I do not have email access on my phone so I'm looking for a way to hot sync them to my PC as I'm able to do with the pictures I take myself.

Post relates to: Centro (AT&T)I have verizon but i was having the same problem but i just kept messing around. to save picture txt on a palm centro into the palm album, you click on the image icon that appears next to the txt, and then you press the button that is next to the alt key. and that will give you a list of things to do, including save picture and you can select which album you want to save it to

So last night my boyfriend upgraded his old Samsung galaxy to the Samsung Galaxy s4. He was able to receive a few of my text messages, but then they randomly started saying "not delivered." I turned on and turned off my phone, and tried the turning off and on imessage and facetime but nothing has worked and I still can't text him. I am receiving his messages just fine, I just can't send any to him. I looked onlne at Apple Support for help but I noticed a majority of the problems were coming from people that switched from iphone to an android, but he has always had an android and I've been using the same iphone 4s the whole time. It is really bugging me, so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

How to Print Pictures sent by Text message
I received a text message with some pictures. I'd like to print a copy of those pictures. I thought you just use your USB cord and attached it from my Droid X to my computer than searched for those pictures.
Would someone send me the "steps" on how to print those pictures?The phone creates two drives, one CD ROM and a SD CARD the SD Card will be the last letter on the computer, in the screen shot mine is J", just look for last letter and open and images will be in "Messaging" folder.
Make sure you saved the files to card first... JUST VIEWING IT DOESNT SAVE FILE... Follow instructions below to save....

5530 - Can I see who sent the text message that is...
When I receive a text it tells me I have a message waiting. Is there anyway the 5530 can tell me who the sender of the message is?
Commonly you probably have 2 of every contact so the mobile doesn't know which to display - check your contacts.
Most commonly this is because contacts are on your sim and phone the best way to solve this problem
go into;
Contacts->Options->Settings->Conctacs to Display
then chose phone memory only
Note you may want to copy all the contacts from sim to phone first to make sure you have all your contacts

Since updating to the ios7 I can't receive picture on a text from another iPhone any thoughts. It says it's downloading but never does
I'm having the same problem. I have an iPhone 5 and am running iOS 7.
MMS is on, and I can send pictures successfully. But when I receive them, the photo shows up for a split second before it becomes a downloading icon which never changes.

Both my wife and I have an IPhone 4s. All of a sudden, when I text her, she receives my text, but the history on my IPhone disappears as soon as I send the text. Also, I don’t receive any of her text messages. Though while testing and trying to troubleshoot, I have sent a text message from her phone to my phone and I do hear the text sound message go off on my phone but no text. Though I on my icon, I do see I have 1 new text message and as soon as I click on it, the text message will disappear if it’s from her. Now I have noticed when I call her the history also disappears now. I can call her and she can call me from the phone successfully. Just can’t receive any of her text message and no history is retrieve from my phone. Can anyone please help??? Just to share, I have hard booted both phones, deleted and re-added our contact information and in the ‘Message’ settings, we both have the message ‘on’, Send as SMS ‘on’, MMS Messaging ‘on’ and under the ‘send and Receive’ field, it has my number listed with a 1 and area code…1 (210) xxx-xxxx.
There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon. -
Why won't my iPhone 5 send pictures in a text message?
Ever since I updated my phone I can't send pictures in a text message. It just freezes right before the staus bar is all the way across the screen and then I have to send it as a text message. Sometimes after I do that the person I am sending it to gets both pictures.
Mine is doing the same exact thing. It has that red exclamation mark. Can someone please help?

My wife has a motorola KRZR K1M Cell Phone. I have iPhone 4S. My phone (4S) receives and display text messages from my wife's phone. However, my phone does nort receive or display pictures sent from my wife's phone. However, my daughter has a 4S phone and she receives pictures sent from my wife's phone. What is the problem with my phone?
Do you have MMS enabled, both on the phone and also within your account? Remember, MMS requires a data connection.

I bought an HTC one 2/28/14. I had no trouble sending or receiving pictures with my texts. I had to update my phone 6/5/14 and since that time I cannot send or receive pictures in my texts. How can I fix that?
The thing is, before the update, I ALWAYS had my wifi on, and I had my mobile data off. Worked flawlessly until the update.
