after a iphone update on my iph4s i cant send pictures, why?
iv rang my provider and all the settings there are fine and they dont no what is going on either
does any one no why this has happened

i can surf the net the problem i have is i could send picture text and when i updated to os6 then 3mins after i did i couldnt send a pic text any more i called my carrier and they said nothing changed on there end so problem is in my phone after i did the upgrade

@Dmitriy Buldakov, have you found the solution to the issue yet? I have the same problem, no option to turn on MMS in my iPhone settings. I checked the settings on my friend's iPhone, which has the same iOS version as me (8.1.1), and the option is there. It's really annoying...

This is a problem with your carrier. You can contact them and ask why you cannot send text messages. Have you tried restarting your phone or restoring it yet?

Make sure that your router is setup to not block any ports.
as well check with your ISP to ensure those servers are not blocked.
you shouln't have any issues with receiving mail. the outgoing would be the only issue you should be having.
make sure you add an alternate SMTP server (using your ISP's server) to send email when on wifi

Hello guys, i just bought an unlocked iPhone from Claro Chile, and i tryed to use it in Argentina. I have no problems using every app on the iPhone but the SMS has been some trouble. I just cant send any sms, i can't therefore, activate imessage or facetime. my iPhone model is the A1428 GSM, and im running iOS 6.1 i tryed everything, checking the sms data, restore the iPhone, and nothing i've reading that is a frecuent problem in the sprint iphone 5's, but mine is from Claro Chile.... I need some answers and solutions... if there's any... i contact Claro Chile and they told me that the problem is whit Apple... and here i'm, i also tryed to send a mail to [email protected] and i receive an automatic response.

Confirm that you have MMS Messaging set to On in Settings>Messages. If it is, check with your carrier to confirm that your messaging plan is properly provisioned for MMS.

I think this is more of a problem with Facebook than with Verizon. I've never changed my texting/data plan, but there are times when I can't send either pics or updates, but there are times when they work perfectly. There are 2 different ways you can send them....one is to the personal email address facebook gives you when you connect your phone to your account...the other is to send pics/updates to [email protected] That's usually the one I send things to. It's connected to your account, since your account is connected to your phone number, & it works more often than the other email they give you.
