HT3529 my iphone is in recovery mode and when i try restore it it says error
my iphone has the plug into itunes symbol on it, and when i plug it into itunes it says to restore it so i click restore and it gets half way through then it says error. i cant get onto my phone without restoring it. what do i do ? help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi folks, just yesterday i can restore my iphone 4 that have a problem when i restore from itunes, when i do the restore from itnes, always showed me the following error:

what I did was this: just when I will finish the process, when the status bar is at the end in the firmware, only put the sim card and go back to take out, I do this like 4 or 5 times and the process restoration ends so well. This method I tried it 2 times and 2 times worked. I spent like 10 hours trying to restore iphone without results, until I started watching the logs and the key is when you are upgrading the firmware sends a command to answer yes. Check your USB connections

If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you may be unable to update or restore.

Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
Try a different computer.

by reset option do you mean the DFU restore? worked for me, have you tried that?
if not - hold the lock and home button until the power down bar comes up. then hold the lock button for ten seconds - next continue to hold the lock button and press the home button for ten seconds - next release the lock button and hold the home button for 10 seconds. this should be done with the phone tethered. If done right and your itunes is configured as such, the phone will reload the drivers and start up itunes, and then prompt for a restore/update. -

I have installed the beta version of 6.1 a month ago and now i cannot open my iphone 5 it needs regestration and when i try to register it says that it couldnt complete and i need to register in the developer what can i do now to reopen my device?
Probably wasn't a good idea to install beta software on a device when you're not a developer.
Apple clearly states that beta software is not to be installed on production devices.
Not really much you can do except wait for iOS 6.1 to be officially released and then install it. -

I tried uppdating my ipad then it went into recovery mode. I thought "oh no problem, my phone has done this before". So, I hooked it up to iTunes and started to restore/update it, but when the update began, it said it would take 24 hours to download. Already abnormal. Then, the number kept rising higher and higher until it got to 300 HOURS. Then, once it reaches a certain 300, it says "connection failed. please check to see that you have a working connection or try again later" or something like that. So, my iPad is now stuck in recovery mode and I can't exactly talk to people now. What do I do?

I'd say it's possible that you internet connection is slow. I would try to cancel the download and possibly restart the router, then try the update again.
