HT3529 Setting up signature line for iMessage

Can you set a default signature line in an iMessage? Many people I text do not know my incoming phone number and I'd rather not keep typing my name and title in an iMessage. Can someone tell me if this can be done?

That's not a feature of the iPhone. You can set up a keyboard shortcut to make it easier to enter whatever you want.

if u want to set label and textfield side by side .
then u have to set The layout is GridLayout().
to ur example
Panel p=new Panel(new GridaLayout(3,2))
means three rows to columns.

I already have two iPhones and an iPod touch, and a Mac set up on my iTunes account. The iPod and Mac each have their own gmail account they use to recieve iMessages (one of them is my Apple ID). The two iPhones each have their own phone number they recieve iMessages from. I now want to set up an iPad on that same iTunes account with iMessage with a third gmail adress to use. When I try to set up iMessage, I am shown the two gmails and phone numbers from my other devices but no option to add another email like all the tutorials say. Is there a limit of 2 emails or something? There is no way I am making a new Apple ID just for iMessage. I tried to look for the option in Messages and Settings. Please tell me if there is a way I can add a third email.

You asked 3 or 4 times.
You say you already set up the gmail account App, so you must have added this gmail already??? If you didn't you could not get mail in the App.
When you set up iMessage on the iPad, it must be set up with the unique gmail address. There is no limit to email addresses. I have 4 on mine in iMessage, all unique, one is my iCloud.

Cannot edit signature line for this forum

I have tried the Edit My Account link but cannot find WHERE I would edit the signature line that gets added to my posts (such as this one).
Reason: I have recently added additional credentials and thought it would be nice to add it to my signature line. But can't find where it make that edit.
Can anyone help?

Help with setting up mobile number for imessage

the imessage will not detect my mobile number to send and recieve imessages from that number, i have tried resetting network settings and resetting my phone but it still does not work. It only works for my email, if anyone could help that would be great.

You can do one of the following
1. Alerts
2. Create an Appointment/Task and add all the users. You can do it manually or using the Import Wizard.
I don't see a way to create recurring tasks/appointments or automate this process.

It can be done by creating a contact for that group which includes all their email addresses all separated by a comma or semicolon. You may have to format it just right depending on the email service you're using. Also, you will have to type this out in Notes first in order to be able to get the punctuation in there, then copy & paste the entire list into the email field of the new contact.

I have an iPad, my wife has an iPod touch and my son has an iPod touch. We all use the same apple ID so we can access all purchases and apps. Is it possible to have different accounts for imessages so we can use them for this pupose individually. Yoy don't absolutely have to set up different Apple ID's on each decice in order to use iMessages. You can share an Apple ID on multiple devices and set up iMessages for the one Apple ID, but then you need to associate different email addresses on the other devices at which all of your family members can be reached.

Thank you both for your responses but my daughter was reassured by the salesman in the iStyle store (official Apple store in the UAE) that iMessages would work but conceded that FaceTime wouldn't. My iTunes account is registered in the uk and my daughter's iPhone has iMessages even though she bought it (and uses it) in Dubai. Can anyone else throw any light on this?
