Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

TS2755 Unable to send or receive iMessages on my iPad.

Have tried restarting the iPad, reactivating iMessage, resetting the network settings, then I finally restored the iPad as new to no avail. When attempting to start a new message the contact name comes up as red. I have tried everything I could find on the apple websites and everything I can think of myself. It still does not work.

Are you certain that contact has an APple device and is registered with message, both of those are required to receive messages.

"unable to send or receive faxes"

Trying to fax using VoIP. Have a phone already plugged in. When i plug into the telephone (fax) port on AIO unit it knocks out my phone. Whenever i turn on the AIO it tells me "unable to send or receive faxes." I've tried adjusting settings and restting them. Nothing. Is there someway i can test the port on the AIO? Can i get inside the unit to check it? Can i check using a multi-meter?
I'm stuck.

Unable to send or receive pictures

I am unable to send or receive pictures. Everytime I tried to send or receive on I get an error message saying download error. How can I fix this? I have a Droid Incredible.

Hi Tonique,
I understand the importance of using picture messaging on your device! I would like to ask a couple of questions.
Are you using a third-party messaging application? If so, I would recommend uninstalling it and trying again. If you are successful in sending and receiving after doing so, then the application is the source of the issue.
Did this issue just start happening? Or has it been an ongoing issue?
I do want to let you know that you can check in your online account and see if you have picture messaging blocked. The information is located in the service blocks section. Below I have provided you with the steps.
Sign to My Verizon at http://www.vzw.com .
Locate the I Want To... section.
Select More Actions.
In the Safety & Security column, click Set Usage Controls.
Click the Usage Controls tab.
Scroll down to the Service Blocks section.
Click Explore.
Select the appropriate line from the Blocks For: drop-down.
Select check box next to the service(s) you wish to add or remove blocking.
Click Continue.
Click Close.

You can try to turn iMessage off around 5-10 minutes and turn it on again.

Apple guys are deleting posts. I have found my posts have been deleted. Apple should MUST let us downgrade at least to previous release from current which was working fine.

Unable to send or receive text messages after updating iOS to 7.0.2

I am unable to send or receive text messages aftering updating to iOS 7.02. I have an iPhone 4S. I have run all the suggested troubleshooting still can't text. I have been to my carrier, AT&T, there is no issue with my account. AT&T suggested resetting the phone to factory defaults (thereby wiping it clean). I am trying to avoid that as I had issues with transferring data & contacts before. Any one have a work around?

Retry fails over and over again.
But able to receive from it.
Tried resetting network settings then it works again until the problem comes back.
Not sure what causes the problem. I do not wish to reboot my iphone everytime when it happens.
Seems like ios7 gm issues.
Never had this problem on the beta.
Anyone have any resolution to this?

iMessage is Activated.
Facetime is Activated.
Don't know what is preventing me from sending over iMessage.
Receiving is no problem. Even during the the time I was trying to send.

HT4623 Unable to send or receive picture messages

I have been unable to send or receive picture messages since I started using the iphone.

I have an iPhone 5 and since I updated to ios 7.1, I can't sent pics unless the other phone has iMessage. I use h2O and I use the sim swap to get to my cellular network. I enter the settings and I noticed when I enter the mms apn: att.mvno will eventually disappear and says home. I repeated this process a dozen time with the same result.
All the setting that I've enter didn't change but the mms apn. Att.mvno.
Keep in mind, I used the sim swap method on my iPhone 4s and the 5 and never had a problem until this new update! It's driving me nuts and would like to know how to resolve this problem? I'm not sure if I revert back to 7.0.6 will fix it but before I do it , I like to know if that will work Bc it's time consuming! Apple needs to fix this problem Bc it was fine before this dam upgrade.

Why can't I send or receive iMessages on my iPhone?

I've been using iPhones for about 5 years now and I've never found a problem with one that I couldn't fix until now and it's really starting to irritate me because no one has any idea whats going on. I just got a iPhone 4 from one of my moms friends because my last one broke and for some reason on this phone I can't use iMessage. I can use FaceTime and do everything else on my phone except for using iMessage. I have iMessage turned on and activated in the setting and I have linked my apple id but for some reason when I try and iMessage someone with an iPhone my messages will only send as texts. And when people try to iMessage me it says delivered on their phone but I get nothing on my phone. Could anyone help me out? Try restarting the device first..
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, then swipe the slider to power off.
Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
