I have an iPhone 3GS. There's no push notifications on all apps. The notifications just pop-up on messeges, phone calls. Twitter, WhatsApp, Yahoo Messenger still unable to recieve notifications. Please help me

Yes, I have the latest update for WWF. I have deleted and reinstalled it about a dozen times. I have contacted the developer, and they said it's not the app. In doing a search on push notifications for iPhone, I see tons of problems with it. Let's get it fixed! I have push notifications problems with other apps as well... it's not just WWF.

HT3576 Push Notifications. Help?

I downloaded the new ios 7 and since then one of the games i aleady had on my phone no longer works. Everytime i log in it shows a pop up message saying 'connect to itunes for push notifications' i click ok and the game opens but then the pop appears again i click ok and it comes up again this just keeps going on in a loop. The only way i can close the game is to turn off my phone. Its so frustrating, i've logged into itunes, i've tried syncing my phone, i've uninstalled the gme and re-installed it and still get the same problem. Help please?
Ps. The game is MINI GOLF MATCH UP.

I got one of my buddies who works at ATT to look at it...
it recently stored everything to iCloud and when it did that it messed it up.
I backed my phone up to my computer and restored it.
All push notifications are working now!

HT3576 How can I get rid of "Connect to itunes to use push notifications" pop-ups. I just had to replace my iPhone 5 and when I did a restore from backup, most of my apps will not let me in becuase I cannot get past the"connect to itunes..." message.

My iPhone 5 was distroyed so I replaced it with a new iPhone 5 yesterday. I did a restore from a backup that i had performed a week ago. When I tried to use the phone several of my apps would not let me in becuase they continually gave me a popup message "Connect to Itunes to use push notifications". I click ok and the popup comes back. I have shut my phone off several times. I have complete closed the apps several times. I have even deleted the apps from my phone and reinstalled. All to no avail. Please help - does anyone know how to fix this?

Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. I have also gone into settings - notifiations - and tried turning all notifications for these apps all off but that didnt work either. Any guidance is MUCH appreciated - Im not sure where to go from here.

How do I turn off push notifications when using words with friends on my iphone. It tells me to go thru itunes. Where do I do this??

1. Provide your iOS version
2. Define: "using words with friends." Are you referring to text messages or a specific 3rd party app? In any case, this is not controlled by iTunes.
Settings > Notification Center > select app you're using (Messages??) > select what type of notifications you do and don't want.

I found one other way to do it. I just deleted them all out of my iTunes library. Now I can re-import them from Window's My Music file with the original artists' names intact.

Why cant I get sound on push notifications when turned on under settings and app supports notifications?

hi i installed viber on my iphone 3gs. the push notifications for viber are set to "on", yet when i start viber it continues to say that push notifications need to be switched on, n wont progress further. any solutions. deleting n reinstalling hasnt helped.

Idont have Push Notifications after install IOS7 in IPhone 5

This may be a bug or they were simply disabled. Go to Settings> Notifications and then add apps to the Notification Center. If that diesnt work you may be in Do not disturb mode. To get out of do not istirb mode slide up from the bottom of ther screen to suppon control center and tap on the moon so it is not lighting up.

I have had this same issue but thankfully fixed it. Follow he steps below:
Sync your iPhone with you iTunes therefore your info is backed up. Unplug your phone.
Go to Settings > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
Once your phone has reset and come back on answer the question until it asks if you want to back up from itunes Click this then plug your phone in.
After everything has sync'd back to your phone everything should work fine.

When I open many of my applications on my ipad I get a box that says "Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications. Usually it disappears after I click it, but it have blocked my use of dropbox because I can't get it to go away and I can't access my files on my ipad. I have deleted and redownloaded Dropbox 3 times to try to clear this up.

I would start with signing out of all services that require signing into your Apple ID and then signing back in. Be sure to test the results after processing these steps.

Push notifications not working in ios 7 on iphone 5

Since upgrading to ios 7 on my iphone 5 push notifications are not working, specifically for mail, mailbox, whatsapp and messages. I have checked all settings multiple times, hard reset and restored from back up a number of times with no results. I set the notification centre so show on the lock screen just for notifications, but get nothing.
Is anyone else having the same problem? Is it a bug with ios7 or a bug with the apps?

Facebook For iOS App Push Notifications Not Working

Been seeing a lot of Threads for this problem but with no proper solution.
Ever since I updated my Facebook App to v9.0, I havent had any push notifications come to my phone. I've tried uninstalling/deleting the app & other connected apps (Paper, FB messenger) , logging out of the iOS integration, Resetting my phone, etc. but nothing's worked. The App doesn't even ask me if I want to Activate Notifications anymore when I Re-Install it....
The Phone Notifications are set to show in the lock screen & all, and the Push Notifications in the app are set to push for "All Notifications", but On the Web client I noticed that I had "Some notifications" listed in the settings (and I can't change those on the web, because it tells you to change them in the app) . The only way I know i have Notifications now is through the App Badge,, via Email or through Paper's Notification setup (But i still dont get all of them) ...
I wonder if it could be a server issue on Faceobook's End. There has to be some way to fix this problem....Help!!!

I believe my Firewall is blocking Push Notifications on my iPod touch. So, I wanted to discover what the TCP Ports are that are used by Push so I could open those ports to pass packets (info) to my iPod.
