HT3702 After my local currency available, I cannot purchase anything from itunes store. My CC always declined. How to fix this?

I have no problem purchasing anything before this local currency feature.
My last successful itunes store purchase was at November 1st 2012.
A week later I saw my local currency displayed along app icons. When I tried to buy one app, my CC declined.

    I have the same issue, bteween France and The Netherlands. No solution found yet.
    Worse even. My credit card is not from The Netherlands, and the dutch store does not accept a creditcard from outside NL. So i used my french card to buy one app using France has my home country. Luckily the app's language remained English, but now the french store seems to be offering me frech versions of existing (free) apps which i dont want. So i cant use the updates.
    i cant change the country back to Neterlands, without using a credit card. I can make a new ID, but the old one remains stuck with the french store, pffff It seems the only solution is to create a new ID via a "purchase" of a free app, but the older free apps all may need to be reinstalled that way.
    Typical Apple ..... ? ! !
    I may regret having purchased this ipad.....

  • Cannot purchase Music From iTunes Store

    Hi,
    I have an iMac indigo running OS X 10.2.3 and iTunes 4.7.1. I recently drank 5 bottles of coke and entered the promotion codes into the iTunes store to get my 5 free songs. My account registered that I had 5 song downloads available. I went to choose my first song and was told that I had to upgrade to iTunes 7, which requires OS X 10.3.9.
    I don't have OS X 10.3.9 or iTunes 7 and had no plans to upgrade as my iMac does everything I need.
    Does this mean I am now excluded from purchasing songs from the iTunes store?

    I'm wanting an answer to this also. My ibook G4 800 ran like crap with itunes7(minimum req. is 1 GHz) so I downgraded to 6.0.5-and now I can't make purchases either! I bought season passes a while back (before itunes 7) and I got the first couple episodes , but now it won't download them anymore-says I need '7!!!! I am really ticked!!!

    I believe that you're seeing another symptom of the iTunes store authentication problems reported elsewhere. iTunes, the store, MobileME and others are all rather integrated and a problem in one of those has affected all the rest. For instance, I am able to purchase new content but cannot authenticate the old content. Others are unable to purchase at all.
    Be patient. Apple has known about this problem since Aug 4 and I assume they're working on something. It should be days (but not hours) before they resolve it.

    Is anything wrong with iTunes store? Nowadays it always asks to contact iTunes support before completing a transaction,,,which is very frustrating

    They said, they would look into it. After two days the problem was solved. I started buying things from the stores without asking to contact the iTunes support. Three days after the problem started again. I contacted them again, they said they would look into it again and my account has been disabled now. I received mail from them yesterday and I was told that they are still working on it to find the exact problem with my account. Even to open another iTunes account now, one will still need to contact the iTunes support in order to complete the transaction. Many people has told me they are encountering the same problem.
    I started having this problem since the day I updated my billing account information. I have used more than three different cards but the problem still persists.
    I am just fed up. I have more than £10 Credit on my account that I cannot spend since this problem started.

  • My apple ID is disabled.  Its not giving me a reason why, just says "YOUR APPLE ID HAS BEEN DISABLED" I am able to access my account information on iTunes, but I cannot purchase anything from iTunes, or UPDATE my apps. HELP!!

    I really need some help here. I would like to say the APPLE staff has been helpful for me, but I am very disappointed in the "service" I have received.  I have tried to reset my password, I have taken my phone to APPLE, they were rude and were no help, at all.  I have always been very satisfied with my iPhone and iPad, but I am sad to say I am frustrated and discouraged. 
    I am unable to purchase music or apps, and whats more frustrating is the fact that I cannot even update the applications I currently have.

    Updated my iPad 3 about a hour ago, and I cannot log in to iTunes store.
    I tried restarting the device, but this doesn't work. (Strangely no problem on iPhone..)

    Turn off ios 7 parallax. You should then be able to resize OK.
    Access General Settings, and then select Accessibility. Here there is an option called Reduce Motion, select that and turn on the little switch. This will disable Parallax

    Hey everybody,
    I also was experiencing the unknown error -42018 when attempting to download purchased music. Additionally, I was stuck in an endless authorization loop when attempting to play previously purchaed music. All this started when I installed the latest iTunes software 7.0.2.
    I run windows XP Pro, and unlike the majority of users I actually set it up correctly with a dedicated administrator account, and regular user accounts instead of just running as admin all the time. For me, that was the cause of the problem.
    The new version of iTunes software required FULL CONTROL privilages on the iTunes and iPod install directories for all user accounts that were using the program. (Previous versions worked fine, so this is a new thing.) Once I provided those permissions, iTunes worked correctly. Follow this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304040 for information on how to provide FULL CONTROL to every user account.
    I hope you all find this helpful in solving your problem.
